After being a 40+ year customer of Marson's in Leavenworth, I've grown to really love the store and the employees that work there. After the purchase of Marson's by TAL Building centers, I was at first a little frustrated with the change. Now, all the store clerks are fantastic and very helpful. What makes Tyler stand out for me is that he always goes above and beyond to serve my needs as a customer and contractor. For example, his knowledge of the POS system allowed him to make some much needed changes to my sub-accounts in my company charge account. He was very conscientious about asking the right questions and made the necessary changes without any further prodding. I super appreciate everything he does for your company. I showed her my cart and said no that's the price before the discount if I even get it. She then explained all she can do is have me order it online then you I would have come back later in the afternoon because it takes time for the payment process. By the way I had cash not my card. I wasted a trip up and back for false pricing. Then they want me to come back in the afternoon to pick up the item from their app. Seriously if you are going to post a price then well it for said price. Needless to say I went to Lowe's and bought a Brad nailer. The lack of help and customer satisfaction at Home Depot was a FAILURE at best.

PROS: Friendly staff, Veteran Discount good in store and online (HDepot offers one but you must show Vets ID to someone in the store to get the discount - not nearly as good), Good selection, Excellent prices, Online ordering is easy to use along with their App. And I tried their Curbside Pickup today for the first time and it worked perfectly. CONS: I have used their In-Store Pickup many times and it's not working well. Pickup shares the same counter as Customer Service and Returns so it is often crowded. (photo shows unattended carts and carriers jamming two of the three isles in the Cust Svc area. Only one employee waiting on customers. What you can't see is two other customers waiting in line beside me - 6-ft away of course) Seems like most times, the associate who helps me has a hard time locating my order. There must be a way to make this work better. If it can get fixed, I'll give 5-stars. BUT - now that I've had such good luck with Curbside, that will be my default. But I sure do miss Kelly's and LCBS :-)

The back wall is full of pennants and photos from rodeo activities. You are asked if you need any help but never by being pushy, they just want to help. I'm from Maine and this place reminded me of "husseys" where you can get guns, wedding gowns and cold beer. True value also sells what you would wear working a rodeo. Such a cool place.
