Well we went in to ask if would be opening up since the lights were on. The owner greeted us and said oh the girl just went home sick but I have time I can open the store for you. As we waiting for her, she was so gracious to the guest she was assisting and her other staff as she explained the situation and excused herself. So our sweet girls got to on their annual shopping spree at their favorite store in Leavenworth thanks to her. I can't remember her name but she was so friendly and loved helping the girls pick things out and show them all the toys and accessories in the shop. We have gone to both shops for the last 5 years on our annual trip to Leavenworth and every time the experience is exceptional. They called me back later the same day to say that they had a 'like new' used version of the game in stock, and said I could pick it up today. I said sure and dropped in later the same dayw. The used game as 90% of the price of the new - and I found it new online for the same price - but again, I want to support local, so I went ahead and purchased it. When I got home and opened the used game was not the same as a new game. It was an older version of it, without the updated ruleset, without changes to the board and pieces. It was significantly different and less refined. We recently visited some friends and played the newer version of the game, the version that inspired us to purchase the game, the version I thought I was buying. IT was so much better than the version I was sold. I was a local, loyal customer. I could have bought the game online for the same price. I chose them, and they let me down.

The biggest issue wasn't that they couldn't do it -- it was how dismissive and unprofessional the staff were. Three employees were standing together chatting and drinking coffee, and their attitude was essentially, "It's written on the machine, so too bad." There was no courtesy, no effort to help, just a very condescending tone. They also claimed that every store in Leavenworth charges a credit card fee, which was untrue. After visiting many restaurants, galleries, shops, and ice cream stores during my three day trip, this was the only place that did. This ended up being my worst customer service experience in Leavenworth, mainly because of how dismissive the staff were. I would not return.

After taking a hard look at the offerings and dwelling on a Seahawks hat, I decided to go with the Indiana Jones hat. The hat fit my head, nice because my head runs a bit on the large side, and had a large brim, which I find to be helpful for sun protection during geology fieldwork. The price was fair, and the workers helpful. At the time I was concerned the hat may be a bit on the thin side for my purposes. Nope. Almost five years later, the hat is still in great condition. I store it with my handmade Polish sheep/goat-herding hat. They have surprisingly similar structure and dimensions.

We were looking for a fun adventure that the whole family could enjoy. My son had just turned 10…read moreand wanted to take one of his school buddies with him. We read the reviews online and called them to book our adventure. We were treated with kindness and respect from the time that we got there. We signed the requisite waivers and were told that the rapids head tamed down to class three which was very manageable and safe for the family. They outfit you with wet suits and boots and it's suggested that you bring your own hats, sunglasses and sunscreen. Our guy took the time to get to know all the folks that were in our group and arranged us in the raft, according to our age and abilities. My son and his friend sat towards the back of the raft, which turned out to be the safest and driest location. After a short walk-through of expectations and paddling instruction, we got underway. Smooth sailing for the 1st mile or so, and then we hit our first group of rapids. The guy did an outstanding job of keeping us afloat and telling us which side to paddle aggressively, and which side to back off on. Throughout the day, this continued and we hit several more aggressive rapids that were challenging, but a lot of fun. Photographers are located throughout the course and will get some great pictures of your group as you head down the river. They are available for purchase at the end. Overall, a great experience and a great day with osprey rafting company. Highly recommended!

My family and I were treated with respect and attention to detail in the customer service received was excellent, even going out of their way to place phone calls to verify operation hours for the day for us on the hill. We will definitely recommend this location to all of our family and friends and will be stopping by again next time we are in the area. They do rental tubings in the summer to River flow and snow supplies in the winter for the nearby ski hill.
