This store is by far THE BEST in the area and maybe in the country that I've been too. Glen, Maria, and the whole staff are very friendly, very knowledgeable, and most of all very patient! They have helped me with numerous projects and have taken the time to make sure everything is done correct and on time! I used to live right around the corner which made it super easy to stop by, but now even living 20 minutes away, I make the drive because I know they wil get the job done!! Honestly, if I could give this location 0 stars, I would. I just did a drop off at this location and when I walked in, not a word was said to me. It was as if I didn't exist. There were three women working at the time and not one of them acknowledged me. Only one of them was with a customer, so I will cut her some slack. I walked up to the counter where one lady came over and asked me what I needed. Not once did she said "hello" or "how are you today?"... you know normal greetings. I actually spoke to her and said "HELLO HOW ARE YOU DOING?" and she said "I'm good". Another customer walked in and all three of the women immediately spoke to him (caucasian man). Shortly after a Caucasian woman walked in and she was spoken to immediately, in unison by all three of the women again. Even the one who was still with a customer. I immediately said out loud "it's interesting that everyone found their voice when these other two customers walked in but when I walked in I was ignored". Everyone stood there looking dumbfounded. As I was walking out all three of the women said good bye while snickering. This type of treatment is absolutely unacceptable and after reading a few of the previous reviews... looks like poor customer service is a regular for this location. Would give zero stars if I could. tldr; loaded dolly ran over my foot and no employees helped me. This store is getting a negative review because of poor customer service. I was using their dolly to transport my boxes from my car, my first time ever using that type of thing. I was struggling to get the dolly back inside the store because it was a tight angle, if i backed up too much the dolly would go over the curb. There 3 employees working at the front of store, not assisting customers but doing some other task, and not one of them tried to assist me get inside the dolly. I had accidentally bumped into the door several times, but it was only when the dolly ran over my toe and I screamed out that anyone looked up at me. One employee came from the back of the store to open the door, but by that point I had managed to get the dolly in myself. I brought up the issue as I was leaving the store and the manager (who wasn't even there but "watched the cameras") insisted that the employees didn't hear me or were too busy to help. If that is the case, why did someone in the BACK of the store come to help? I got no apology from any of the employees who had clearly ignored me. The employees were talking about me and looking at me from the back room the entire time that I was in the store. I found it to be so rude and unprofessional. I was injured by their dolly that ran over my toe with 100+lbs of cargo on it. I am not sure why I was so severely neglected by the staff of this store, gossiped about, and gaslit by the manager. I am severely disappointed and will NOT be returning to this location again, which is inconvenient for me because I have more things to ship. read more

Friendly service and helped me through an issue. Dyson gave me a return reference number that wasn't setup properly. The team patiently tried all possible options while I called Dyson to fix. I had to leave for work so I tried another UPS store by work after the issue was resolved with Dyson, and they had no idea how to process and rudely refused to help. This is what #UPS does to your packages. It ignores requests to leave pkgs on porch, instead of opening the gate, throws merchandise over the fence, w/o regard to damaging it, etc. This driver then proceeded to lie to #Amazon that it put the pkg on the porch. On the video you can hear him saying someone is bipolar before he throws the pkg over the fence. We've spoken to UPS about this in the past, when another driver threw a pkg in our yard at night. Instead of them apologizing and offering to make restitution if the product was stolen or damaged they simply said it's our responsibility to ask them to hold it for pick up. This was our reply: To be clear: we did not know and were not told which company would be delivering our AT&T pkg until we looked at the video feed on our camera. Had we known, we would have asked that they use FedEx instead -- since UPS apparently has a history of showing a lack of customer service to the end customer. The ONLY mature and professional response that UPS should've made was: 'We apologize for what has happened. If the product is damaged or your identity is stolen as a result of this incident, we will make it right.' But instead you have shifted the blame back to us (the end customer) who didn't know who might be delivering their product and doesn't have responsibility in this. Since UPS appears to be proud of this stance, we'll post this on every media venue available. We're sure we're not the only ones who've had issues with UPS. Furthermore, as we stated earlier, if the product is damaged or our identity is stolen as a result of your driver's "discretion" then we will hold UPS responsible. And UPS can feel free to pass on the cost of damages/loss to its driver at its discretion. read more

I am a box subscriber here. Generally speaking, it is a very well-managed location with polite and attentive service. My only criticism is that if you have your own UPS shipping account, it will not work in the store until you jump through some additional hoops with UPS. A bit hard to get to if you're coming East on Lemmon. I hope my cardinal directions are right on this one, but you get what I mean. Only purpose for me is to get something notarized. I came in and the guy was on the phone. After that, he was very helpful and kind. I had to sign something in their notebook to take note of this notary action I needed. I then needed the thing I got notarized faxed. That took some time because there were some lags since it was long distance to where I was sending it to. The guy then told me he wouldn't charge me until it properly sent. After a few tries, it sent. He rang me up, I paid and was on my way. Helpful and nice people here. Getting out was a pain if you wanted to go East on Lemmon because you have to make a U-turn and it's all sorts of busy. read more

They kept going about unrelated business chatter and when one became available, the obese Hispanic middle age cashier had no idea what she was doing. She was too lazy to look up any information and kept saying she didn't have any idea what the drivers, or anyone else did, instead of trying to find my lost package. (UPS lost package in Mesquite, TX from Amazon in San Marcos TX. Driver didn't stop at my place before checking it as "not being at home to receive it", and a next day delivery took an entire week, with nobody to blame but UPS). Through all of this, the cashier had a horrible disposition, like I was bothering her by simply asking for an urgent lost package. I was going to call Rick Smith, the store manager at 214.780.0877, however after this experience, I rather canceled the order with amazon and re-ordered. Received the package with Fed Ex the next morning with absolutely no issues. UPS was end to end completely unprofessional. Avoid at all costs. read more

I wish that I could give Rick and his team at The UPS Store 10 stars +++. They are absolutely fantastic! When my now husband and I first started looking at wedding venues in January 2019, we were turned away by one of the top venues on our list. It was a beautiful country/barn venue with excellent reviews. However, the day before our scheduled tour we received a private message from the owner that said our wedding was not part of God's design for marriage and he would not host our wedding at his venue. We were devastated and pressed pause on our wedding planning, unsure if we were up to the challenge of coming out all over again to every single vendor we would need for our wedding and hoping they would accept us. We shared our story and word got out about what had happened to us and Rick heard about it and immediately jumped to our defense. He was committed and eager to help make things right for us and make our wedding day absolutely perfect. He offered to print our wedding invitations for free. What we did not expect is that not only did he do the invitations, he did the save the dates, the details card, and the rsvp cards. We couldn't believe it! We came back in November, the week of our wedding, to print programs and seating charts fully expecting to pay for them and Jax, the print manager, said we will cover the programs as well ... "and even though we have to send out the oversized seating charts for printing I want to personally cover that as a wedding gift to you two." I almost started crying on the spot. We were complete strangers and they didn't have to do this for us but that is the kind of people that they are. Thank you Rick and Jax for making our big day so special. We will never use anyone else for our printing needs. We are customers for life! This is a small business that truly believes that love is love and embraces all couples regardless of what they look like. I thought that this UPS location would be my permanent friendly pack and ship store. The staff is friendly enough... AND THEN, I walk in one day and they are charging $1 for tape. And that's not $1 for the service; it's $1 PER BOX. Small box that they put a strip of tape over that was barely sealed correctly. Talk about putting a bad taste in your mouth. I would understand big boxes, or even $1 for the service, but um, yeah. So I stepped into another UPS store expecting to pay for "tape service", and lo and behold, the staff just tapes up my box all friendly like. For free. Wow. It's not up to me to pretend to understand every single item on the store's bottom line, so if they want to charge for taping, fine. Just revise the policy so it's not as petty. read more

I recently moved to Oak Lawn from another part of the metroplex, so I'm getting acclimated to the area. I sell on eBay so I'm figuring out where USPS, FedEx and UPS drop offs are located. This was my first time visiting this UPS location. I came in to drop off a package that already had a label on it. I asked for a receipt and apparently their scanner was unable to read the bar code. The woman behind the counter (Emmy Lou) asked me if I had another label. Um, the label is on the package, why would I have another label with me?? This is when the confrontation started. We were going back and forth about this label and at one point she told me I was giving her attitude. Her behavior was so inappropriate the only thing I can think is that she was trying to create a scene/show for all of the customers in line to see. What horrible customer service to be arguing with a customer first off, but then to be doing this in front of other customers is inexcusable. I work for one of the largest banks in the country and if our employees treated customers this way they would no longer be employees. Without customers we don't have jobs. Apparently this fact has escaped Emmy Lou. She should be grateful to have a job right now. read more

The absolute worst! Received wrong merchandise from #amazon and read that the UPS store would print my label for $1.00. Drove to the closest store with my data drive and was told that I had to pay $2.50 computer fee and the single copy would be 25 cents. To top it off, I had to do access the file on a PC and print myself. The counter staff at the post office (USPS) and FedEx does not charge a computer fee to print a label and they will print it for you. Never again! read more
