After hearing rave reviews from trusted friends I decided to reconsider Finger Lakes Hearing Center's recommendations. I bit the bullet and purchased the hearing aids they recommended. I an SO GLAD I DID! These new aids are awesome! Indoors, outdoors, with eyeglasses or without, in restraints, watching TV, outdoors hunting, fishing and birdwatching, even on windy days! They are is comfortable and effective that I put them in in the morning and leave them in till bed time. I am hearing things that I have not heard in decades. Love these aids. The staff at FLHC are the friendliest, most concerned, easiest to work with professionals that I deal with anywhere. Easy to give FLHC 5 stars. They deserve 10 stars.

The hearing center fitted me with moulded hearing aids which are comfortable and hardly visible. The hearing aids also have blue tooth and a tinnitus masker which sends a frequency which cancels the ringing due to the tinnitus. These hearing aids have greatly improved the quality and comfort of my hearing. The hearing center handled all the testing, fitting, set-up and insurance issues with courtesy and professionalism. I highly recommend Finger lakes Hearing center for similar or any other hearing needs.

They even performed a cognitive test. My audiologist was Patricia and she was great. Then I met with the hearing specialist Savanna. She explained my results and spent a good amount of time discussing hearing aids. I just picked them up yesterday and again met with Savanna. She was amazing! She was so patient and really explained everything in great detail. I left the office with so much information and feel very confident about the care and usage of my hearing aids. Today I came in and they didn't do a test. They said I was there for ear wax check-something I have never had an issue with. They looked in ears with light thing-no wax. She replaced antenna wire on hearing aide-I had no issue-they start to curl-I was told. (My appointment would have been under one minute without wire replacement). I was not charged the $45 copay I usually pay. It was $65. Then, they asked for 5 referrals for hearing checks. I had none. How much did insurance pay if I paid $65. WTH!
