I had all of my medical records transferred, including my history with anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and severe sleep issues. Over the past year, I have gone through significant life events, including the loss of both parents and a divorce, making consistent and reliable care especially important. From the beginning, communication with this office has been difficult. I have called numerous times seeking assistance and often felt dismissed. When I asked if the doctor could return my call, I was told she "doesn't usually call patients back," which was discouraging given my situation. There have also been ongoing issues with my medications. Initially, I was only prescribed my antidepressant despite providing my full medical history. At one point, I lost my antidepressant and contacted the office to request a refill in order to avoid withdrawal symptoms. I was told by staff that Lexapro is a controlled substance and could not be refilled, which is untrue. Overall, the level of support and clarity provided has been inconsistent. I understand that policies and regulations exist, and I am willing to follow appropriate steps. However, the lack of communication and professionalism has made it difficult to receive proper care. I appreciate that the lady working at Food Services took the time to call around and find out what was up, and get it fixed so that it reflected my actual health needs. Also, the paramedics who transported me were kind, skilled, and calming. The Bad: I had one nurse by the name of Annabelle who did not flush my IV for a full day, leading to it needing to be replaced, and who would not get the charge nurse. During my last IV antibiotic infusion of her shift, I told her it was painful (it shouldn't have been) and she told me the IV was probably just tired, then left for an hour and didn't come back to check on me, just left it going. She also basically manhandled me, rather than allowing me to move my own pajama sleeve out of the way, pulling on my IV and causing additional stress.

This is clearly an attempt to obscure whatever so-called "treatment" was rendered and is nothing but a cover-their-asses tactic. She stares at me like "are you gonna put this on or not?" I ask her "so is that the mask you give to every patient who has showed up today - or maybe even in the last few days - to wear? That ONE mask?" "Yes sir." "They all wear that ONE mask?" I asked again just to make sure. "Yes sir." I told her she was out of her ever loving mind and left.
