Called in for an appointment after testing negative for Covid/Flu/Step at urgent care and my cold symptoms hadn't gone away after 13 days. They canceled my in-office visit and required it to be virtual because the "CDC" guidelines wouldn't allow me in office. My lungs needed to be checked - a virtual visit will not help me. How is one to get treated for their illness if they can't go into a doctor's office to be seen? This instance, along with just subpar care in the past means i won't be going back. I have been searching for a PCP for quite a while, and Amy Breen came highly recommended to me by many people, and I was excited to meet her. The front office is very different from what I am used to (I have typically been a patient at larger hospital systems) but it felt nice, and more personalized than the waiting rooms in hospitals. The front office manager, Dawn, was absolutely warm and lovely, which was so welcoming when you're looking for a new PCP. I waited just a few minutes before an assistant, Orlando, took me back. He was just as kind and welcoming as Dawn was, and though the interaction was overall short, he didn't feel rushed, or in a hurry to get through his list of items he needed to cover. When Amy came in, I was immediately at ease with her, which is a far take from some last experiences. She really took the time to discuss everything with me, and I didn't feel rushed at all, which again is so different from what I've experienced in the past. She was thorough, talked through some different steps we could take, and really LISTENED to me. After I wrapped up with Amy, I was sent for some blood work. I didn't catch her name because I was honestly just so excited about the appointment overall, but the phlebotomist was phenomenal. I'm somewhat needle averse and I didn't feel ANYTHING when she poked me. I am truly so thankful about the care I received here today, and am actually looking forward (like what, who am I?!) to my next appointment. I am kind of shocked at some of the negative reviews, because it was probs my the BEST patient experience I've ever had at 34 years old. read more

Be aware of Clinix Center for Health on Yosemite in Centennial. Money comes first, health comes later - sometime much later. I went for a routine physical. They wouldn't share the results of my blood draw over the phone or mail. Instead, they required me to either come back for an in-office visit or do a video call. They admin person there told me, "Insurance doesn't cover phone calls." Then they tried to charge me $75 for the video call. They basically held my (repeat my) blood results hostage. OK, so if you've got allergies run, not walk, to Dr. Cindy Cortini at Clinix. We jokingly call Dr. Cortini the voodoo doctor because this woman can help with more things than I can possibly list. Trees bothering you? No problem. Been out walking and the wind has kicked up stuff. She can actually treat you for WIND. Who knew??? Tummy bug you at certain times of the day? Dr. Cortini can consult her "body clock" chart and tell you what the problem is. Then she can help you fix it. Best part - no shots or medications. Some acupuncture and her wonder thumper (a very technical term, I'm sure) and you're on your way to relief. Dr. Cortini uses a method called NAET - Non-Invasive Allergy Elimination Technique. Google it, but know that many people can get certified in this. Practicing it is another story, and Dr. Cortini has been doing it for a long time. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has provided a lot of relief to many members of the family. read more

Trying to accomplish something on the phone became so exasperating, that I started to drive over there to schedule appointments in person. Not good. During what they call a VIP Physical, the blood work woman called my name, turned around and walked to her office - and didn't introduce herself. The team of practitioners and assistants are always professional and friendly. I get excellent value for the price! My first interactions with Clinix involved the premium VIP Physical Exam. After leaving our family doctor in Illinois (who we adored), we came to Clinix, having heard good things about Dr. d'Angelo. Unfortunately, Dr. d'Angelo wasn't taking new patients, so we were advised to book in with his PA, Katie Young. At first, we were pretty happy with the practice. They are supportive of breastfeeding and fairly naturally-minded. The reception and support staff are very pleasant and easy to deal with. What we didn't anticipate was the fact that somehow our insurance never seems to cover anything there (even routine well baby checkups) or that every visit would feel like a sales pitch for their variety of (expensive) essential oils, holistic treatments, and vitamin mixes. Still, the care for my daughter was good (she's very healthy) and I figured I could endure the hard sell during visits. However, a month or so later, when I had blood tests done for hormone levels (due to issues with skin and exhaustion postpartum) I was told I had 'high-normal' testosterone levels and then told that I just needed to lose weight, get facials at a health spa they recommend, and take a bunch of their expensive vitamins, 'adrenal support', and homeopathic remedies. She suggested after I was done breastfeeding my daughter that I take HCG to lose weight. Unhappy with the outcome, I subsequently booked an appointment with an endocrinologist who reviewed my blood tests, told me I actually had PCOS and put me on drugs to help regulate my insulin levels, causing a dramatic difference in all of my symptoms, not to mention finally losing weight- roughly thirty pounds in just a few months! While I appreciate the art forms of homeopathy, vitamins, and natural remedies, I did not feel like a patient at Clinix, more a potential consumer. I realise that medicine is a for-profit industry, but I won't be returning when it is obvious the profit model comes before actually helping patients. Edited to Add: Someone subsequently posted a comment saying I must not have realised Clinix was more naturally-minded. I'm very much into homeopathy, Eastern medicine, and natural remedies. I birthed my daughter in a birth tub at home without any painkillers, I'm as crunchy as they come. I just don't feel that ignoring my insulin resistance and trying to sell me hundreds of dollars in supplements which would have zero impact on my PCOS was sensible medical advice. Stepping outside of traditional medicine? Great. Trying to make a bunch of money off of me without actually helping me? Bad practice. read more

I have been a patient at Clinix for many years; lately the practice has gone downhill... in fact it fell off a cliff. I am diabetic and had blood tests ordered by an endocrinologist at another practice. I asked the lab to add another test while they were my drawing blood which they did. Anyway, the lab took the extra blood vial for the test and told me that I needed my "regular" provider to call in an order for that specific test. So I called Rachelle Webster at Clinix, left a message and assumed it was handled. A week later I got a letter from Rachelle telling me that they had been trying to contact me (untrue, I have one phone that records each call and had no calls or messages). Her letter also said that she didn't order the test since I hadn't been to the office for a year. Huh? The blood was already DRAWN, it was a routine test and it cost MONEY out of my pocket, was wasted and would have to be REPEATED. I was quite unhappy. So-- I went ahead and made an appointment with Rachelle for a check-up. Seemed like extortion to me; she didn't need to see me to tack on a PSA blood test to some other blood work. She just needed to bill me and had LOTS of available appointments to fill. So I made the appointment anyway, was stuck in traffic and was 10 minutes late. When I got there, I signed in and the receptionist was on the phone and had several people in line paying bills, etc. and when she finally told Rachelle I was there it was 30 minutes past my appointment time. I had read an entire magazine on the death of Larry Hagman by then... The receptionist told me I needed to reschedule--- I WAS FURIOUS. So I left a voicemail for one of the owners--- did I get a return call? No. So then I tried to send her an email and their website crashed several times. This is an update to my initial review. After coming here for the past few years, I've begun to encounter some problems. While I really like the main practitioner I see, the last couple times I've come here, there have been some issues. The first is updating my insurance. I've tried 3 times, unsuccessfully, to get my new insurance put into their records. Each time, the old insurance pops up. And then I get calls asking why it doesn't work. I find this extremely frustrating. The second and more pressing of an issue, is that I was recently given the wrong vaccine. I went in for one vaccine and came out with something different. And while there were no side effects, thankfully, it was enough to make me think that, combined with the insurance issues, that I should start looking elsewhere. The nurse did call to tell me about the mistake, and I came in and got the correct vaccine. Still, besides the health concern, I had to leave work again and go back in for another shot. I'd have to agree with James M. and say that the service has definitely gone down hill here. read more

I have been going to Clinix for a year on the recommendation of all my coworkers (seriously, it's like a walking Clinix commercial in my office...). I had a VIP physical, and it was extremely thorough. I have had a year physical in January for years, and Andrea found an underlying issue that nobody else even noticed. She ran a couple of tests to confirm it and saved a lifetime of complications. I like that I can go over the results with her, too. It can be difficult to work with them, and they want you to come in for things most doctors would discuss over the phone...and pay another copay. They do a great job, but I think I am being nickel and dimed for everything. read more

I've been a patient at Clinix for 15 years. Their support staff are always very helpful and quick to respond- I also find it easy to get an emergency appointment usually the same day- and you have the freedom to see any of the providers (not just your usual provider). I like that they offer different specialists in one location- chiropractic, therapeutic massage, PAs, MDs, also they do your bloodwork onsite- very time efficient. The reason for the 4 star and not 5 is they lack variety in offering onsite Doctors/ I would love to see an internist or more MDs onsite. Overall- a great place for integrative healthcare that delivers on responsive communication. read more

I have been going to Clinix for 5 years. I see Dr Hollar who is a straight shooter and plain talkers. I am down 37 lbs, off supplements and rarely a prescription. I have used the chiropractic, the massage (but they focus on my lack of stretching). The place is big and well staffed with whole medicine solutions. Twice I have injured my shoulders and within 10 days, the pain is gone and within a month I safely can resume my exercise which I enjoy. read more

My wife and I have been going to Clinix for heath care for several years now and have been very happy. I'm more of a traditional medicine guy and she's more of an alternative medicine gal, but we both find what we need at Clinix. My health care needs tend to be pretty simple - basic checkups - and I saw a physician's assistant for that for a couple of years. She's moved on to another practice now, and I've become a patient of Dr. Kaiser, who I think is great. Easy to talk to, good listener, and even does well when he needs to give me bad news (high cholesterol means I need to work to get healthier). I've also seen a chiropractor, Dr. McNab, for shoulder and wrist pain; she was excellent. I've worked with a nutrition/exercise person, Tatyana, who is also fantastic. My wife is a very regular patient of one of the chiropractors, Dr. Cortini, whom my wife absolutely adores. She gets her MD needs met at Clinix, too. Even though I don't do much of anything with alternative/holistic health care, I still prefer Clinix over other doctor's offices. And for my wife, who does take advantage of alternative care, Clinix is perfect. read more

Need to give a shout out to Dr Cortini. I came in with a neck spasm and got to see Dr Cortini. Wow, she is so kind and understanding and helpful with the pain. She did acupunture and an adjustment. Went 3 times and even went paddle boarding against her wishes. Paddleboarding is how I ended up seeing her in the first place. I am not a new member to Clinix and have referred plenty of people to this clinic who have good things to say as well. For my primary I see Dr. Pluene and have no plans on changing doctors! read more

Dr. Nickell is amazing she takes the time. Never seems to be in a rush to go to the next patient. Never had to wait more then 10 min to be seen. Nursing staff are very friendly. However front desk assistants could be a bit more welcoming and friendly, they are the first people you encounter so patients always get first impression from the staff at the front desk. read more

I'm sad that it took a very bad review everywhere I could and a positively pissed off message to finally get their attention though. Over the course of 4months I called at 7+ times and left 5 messages (3 unreturned and 2yesterday the last one I got pretty mad) The only reason I'm updating is a Sweet lady named Sandra. She was very nice and helped me out. . . . . I wish I could give them zero stars they really don't deserve a single star. I went there on my first visit and asked for a chiropractor they scheduled me with someone else and when I noticed I went to the front desk and asked again to be out with a chiropractor after much debate they said I had to see the other lady first. So I went she told me exactly what I already knew AND asked for. I needed a chiropractor. I shouldn't have to pay 2 copays because of they're mistake. I kept calling and telling them what happened but they refuse to take care of it. They just have to have $25 I mean really your going into collections over $25? I will not pay extra because of they're mistake. I shouldn't have to. They should own up to it and not charge me. read more

This place is terrible - do not go there!!!! I went in to meet with Dr. Kaiser because I've been sick for a while now and he told me it was a virus and that I should use over the counter medicines to help me. He told me he would give me an antibiotic prescription but that I really should not use it. I did not take the prescription and a few days later I am worse. I called the clinic to get the antibiotic only for them to tell me that Dr. Kaiser was not there today and they needed me to come in again. I asked if they could call him and they declined. I asked to have one of the other doctors call me and they said they were too busy. My time is very valuable and I've already been in there one time this week and do not have to go in there again. They did not offer me any assistance so now I am going to spend the weekend sick again. Aren't they in business to help people with their health? Well, I definitely did not get that kind of service from this clinic and I will never go there again. I can't stand doctor who does not understand that they are in customer service to help people and they have absolutely no customer service skills. I will be taking my business elsewhere because that is the beauty of being in the U.S. is I have options! read more

Dishonest billing! I went in for the Obama check up, and agreed to the VIP package for $289 "all inclusive" that is not covered by insurance - I went in to receive my results, and they charged me an additional $116.51 for this visit (where I just received the results from the $289 package. If told that this was $405 extra for the VIP package I would not have spent the money. VERY DECEPTIVE, borderline fraudulent. After going to their offices and complaining, we agreed that I would pay 50% of the 116.51, and I paid on the spot. I just received an invoice for the remainder despite our agreement. I live out of the country and do not have time for this! read more

Well! I'm officially changing offices. I went to Clinix last week for chest pains and they did a chest X-ray and they didn't have any answers except that she thinks it could just be a fractured rib, from pooping haha. She said she would send the X-rays to a radiologist, and then give me a call. Well, I didn't hear from her for a week. Yesterday the chest pains were really bad, my doctor wasn't answering, so I just decided to go to urgent care. Urgent care did another chest X-ray and in no time they came back into the room and told me I have pleurisy and prescribed me meds to help it. Clinix never has any conclusions, they just want you to keep coming in. I'm just grateful I went to urgent care and they helped. It's was extremely painful. read more

Rachel Webster turned a routine procedure into me spending a week in the hospital. The staff was unhelpful and once in the hospital I was informed my infection was due to an item being left in my incision by Dr. Webster. To top this all off, I evidently was charged for follow up care after procedure/before I was admitted to hospital. I never received a bill or phone call and then they sent me to collections for these charges. Do not recommend. read more

Think twice about using Clinix. I was told by a nurse that the reason I need to come in EVERY month for my prescription now, (the same one I have been on for several years now) is because the STATE requires it. So I called the state medical board, NOT TRUE they said! I call Clinix back and tell them that. Then I get told oh, our mistake, it is up to the PA and now she thinks that I am not getting the correct treatment. Hummm. After so many years I don't know what changed but I think she needs my money more than I do. I have been going there for around 10 years now and I have had it. Today I went in for my very last appointment at 7:30am and parked in back for the downstairs office. Since I had twisted my ankle a couple of days ago I did not want to use the stairs to come in to a note to 'CHECK IN UPSTAIRS TODAY". I had to go up the stairs only to have someone send me back downstairs. NICE. I told them when I made the appointment that I was coming for s certain refill. Kelsy L would not give me that refill so I wasted the $40 copay. NOTE: I have been on this prescription for several YEARS from Clinix and for about a year Kelsy has been refilling it. About 5 months ago they decided I need to come in EVERY month to have it refilled. I did for 3 months and ran out of money since it comes to about $100 a month for the copay and the cost of the prescription. So I did not go back for 3 months and now she won't give me one at all. If i could give them negative stars I would. WORST experience in a doctors office ever. I got there at 11 for my 1130 appt. I filled out my paperwork with the receptionist and sat and waited until 1150 to be seen! Finally Jolene came up and got me but first she went to the reception desk and whispered to Dawn the receptionist for 10 mins about what I am assuming was office gossip. COMPLETELY unprofessional. She finally puts me in a room and I start telling her why I'm there. She gets up and leaves for 5 mins comes back tells me to put on a gown and then leaves again doesn't tell me anything. So here I sit in this doctors office in a gown with no idea what's going on. Finally about 20 mins later Rachelle Webster walks in. Says they're understaffed. I get it. But that doesn't make up for anything else. So we're talking now about my health and she says oh sorry I gotta go take this phone call and leaves the room in the middle of my appointment!!! Anyways long story short she babbled a whole bunch of stuff at me and confused me and I left. I got to my car at 120! 2 hours spent in a doctors office on my day off!!! Absolutely ridiculous! Now it's about 4 hours later and go to pick up my prescriptions which i should have 5 and guess how many are there?! Only 1! She only called in 1!! I called and spoke to her supervisor and he was very friendly and he said she will send them over when she gets home and hes sorry and he will address all the problems I told him about. I will never go back to Rachelle and Jolene. Perhaps I will see another doctor but never them again. My experience was awful. Doctors still need to provide a level of customer service and that defiently wasn't met at Clinix today. read more

I absolutely love that you can get all sorts of care under one roof! They have great office hours, so it's always easy to get an appointment, and Rachelle Webster is amazing! She has the best bedside manner, always listens, and gives me as much time as needed, to make sure all my questions are answered and is always incredibly thorough. My chiropractor, Dr. Elhard is awesome. However, even with appointments, I always have to wait on average at least 20 minutes each visit. I can't afford to wait 20 mins each time. Even when I come early, I still have to wait. That is my only complaint. My chiropractor is very knowledgable and addresses my concerns. read more

I went to Clinix for a couple years. I loved many of the staff. I think they hire very well. However, I prefer a doctor who trusts patients a little bit. I had an annual gyn exam then got a UTI a week later. Would they prescribe me something? No. There is medical research that shows women are more accurate than clinic tests at diagnosing UTIs yet they said I had to come in. That's when I went looking for my old doctor who used to work at Clinix and made me feel like I was a partner in my own health. So I ended up following him. My biggest complaint was the policies (see above) but I also disliked their focus on cross selling, weight loss, supplements, and other cosmetic stuff. I'm a runner; okay a jogger, but I don't do weight loss. I don't do all the crazy cosmetic things they were selling. It felt a little like Amway. read more

The staff was friendly and I was seen promptly, even the new patient paperwork wasn't that cumbersome. I feel like my doctor was very good in person during my visits. I left this practice because I could never get a returned phone call, an answer to questions left on the portal, and most importantly referrals for critical health needs. My doctor would outline a referral path and tests, tell me that someone would call me, and they never did, nor did they answer my repeated calls, messages and even one in person attempt to get someone's attention. The front desk staff is typically rude and unhelpful as well. The only person who ever made me feel important here was the doctor herself, but given the lack of important follow up, I've found a new doctor. read more
