Of the many choices we have for farmers market, this one is the most interesting and worth a visit. Come in early spring and buy plants and vegetables to grow in your garden. With many varieties of annuals and perennials you can't lose because the prices are so attractive and difficult to pass up. During the summer months, enjoy fun of shopping for beautiful produce, locally grown, fresh and still have real dirt on them. You'll find everything that is in season at the moment, plus a unique assortment of plums or beans for example. It was great to see elderberries for sale, recently, but I thought it was little bit pricey. Then I regretted not buying them. I will next time if still available. Tart cherries from a Polish farmer's truck are always a treat along with many kind of plums and apples he offers. Sweet corn from the Amish stand was delicious! You don't have to put anything on it to enjoy the corn. Every bite was like eating cake, so sweet and satisfying, but if you feel like have a real dessert, have a pie. They have different kind of pies for you with seasonal fruits. The tomatoes were sweet and meaty and the melon is juicy and ripe to perfection. Beans are crispy and extremely flavorful and peppers with a strong, wonderful smell makes you'll eat it raw like an apple. Everything looks great at this market. Besides vegetables and fruits livestock is also available. If you want a live chicken come and get it. There are eggs too of course. What's not to love about fresh farmer's eggs? Shopping for food is only half of the enjoyment. Second is a Flea Market with all kind of treasures. You never know what you can find there. I have to mention, my review is based on shopping on weekend, especially Saturday. I'm not sure how busy is this place at the rest of the week, but Saturday is the time to go. Be sure you don't oversleep and get up and go rather early. All goodies go fast and you don't want to miss the best.

I haven't been here in years, since I was little. With the farmers markers opening up around town for the season, I wanted to go to an old mainstay, that I think is open year round. There is ample parking. There is a side for flea market shopping, and for produce and flowers. The prices are good.

About a 20 minute drive from UB, I came here on a Saturday at 4PM. There was plenty of parking and not crowded at all. Everything was super fresh and very inexpensive (the sweet peppers were a huge steal ($1 for HUGE one). They had everything: pumpkins, tomatoes, concord grapes, corn, eggplant, zucchini, string beans, all types of gords, peppers, and more!! There was also local, fresh jams, maple syrup, baked goods, and fresh flowers. Everyone was really friendly and will definitely go back.

Listen, I'm just here to tell anyone looking for seeded watermelons (because they're nowhere to be…read morefound in the area) that Niagara Produce has both seeded and unseeded watermelons! Why does this matter? Well, over 90% of the watermelons in our great country are now unseeded and I don't know about you but I care that my fruits and vegetables are not genetically modified and I eat the entire watermelon because health benefits matter. You can and should eat the seeds of the watermelon, they're super duper good for you! You can also eat the rind (yes, you can). Or just save some seeds and grow them yourself. Scary to think so many of our foods are now seedless, this madness has to stop! I could say so much more on the subject but I'll stop now and just add... Niagara Produce is a great place to shop for your grocery needs, they have a great selection of produce, meats and even cheeses if you're looking for charcuterie board goodies. They also have a wonderfully huge greenhouse and selection of beautiful plants, just take a little stroll and enjoy the beauty. And, if you're not into that, go grab a slice of Just Pizza just because! Happy shopping!

It feels like a very upscale shopping experience with a hometown vibe. I went in for a few things and left with a full cart. I love the prices here as they are lower or competitive with other stores. They have a full deli and their produce has a lot of variety with some local products too. They have a lot of local products as well as what feels like things made in house. Super cool to support local here. They also have an ice cream shop and a Just Pizza location inside the store which is great especially if you go grocery shopping hungry which seems to happen to me quite often. All of the staff here were super nice and helped me get everything I needed. We will definitely be coming here more often for groceries now that we know how incredible this place is!

Wanted to bring my 1.5 Year old somewhere a bit more lowkey than the big wigs in town and also wanted to knock out pumpkins and apple picking at the same time- enter Blackman Homestead Farm. It ticked those boxes and also delicious slushies (apple cider and grape) just a missed opportunity for delicious pastries (hmm cinnamon donuts!) We thank goodness read Darlene's review about making a reservation and did that the day of around noon and was able to get in at 330! The reservation is made online and the farm is FREE to enter (amazing) but can't be changed or cancelled, however you only need it per carload, so unless you're bringing another car, you can tack on extra folks. We purchased some apples we picked (it was pretty low in the season to pick off the trees) and some that were all set for you in bins, a pumpkin, some cider, a tiny pumpkin and were surprised by the price. Gently it was not as expensive as I thought. Parking was quick and easy on a later Saturday afternoon, with a quick Hi to the Turkeys, some exploring around the pumpkins and picking some apples we had a good time after about an hour and half. I did noticed that it was well organized and lots of folks did disregard the signs: don't feed the Turkeys (grass) and pick up the apples you drop off the tree. There were alot of half eaten, throw apples on the ground which made me kind of sad. Please respect someone's rules and property, it's so nice to be able to come see the farm for free, I hope that doesn't change.

We make this an annual day for picking , always a pleasure.
