Just leaving the store. Cashier was on the phone and barely acknowledged me. Did not say thank you after my $107 transaction. Simply walked away. No other liquor store I go to places several glass bottles in a bag with no cardboard separation between any of them!!! Bottles just clicking together in both bags.....lazy. This was the first and last time stopping here. Just happened to be in the neighborhood. My normal two stores would have never allowed me to carry all the bottles to the car with several men working. I'm going to go back to my usual spots where they greet customers when they walk in, say thank you when I spend my hard earned money at their establishment and go out of their way to be gentlemen. read more

worst service ever. I go back though every now and then but they're always on the phone and a few times they over charged me and act like it was a mistake. Old fashioned family owned supermarket located near Andrews Air Force Base in Clinton. Has a full service deli that serves up some mean subs - inexpensive too. My favorite is the Porky's. My Dad used to go to this place once a week for the Turkey Supreme. Also has beer/wine available just like they do in VA. Also offers a pretty extensive selection of meats in the butcher shop. Not too many of these businesses left unfortunately as Giant, Safeway, Bloom and Shoppers Food Warehouse are taking over the area. Nothing beats a family owned business when it comes to customer service because they know they have to try harder to survive. If you are in the area, stop by and check it out. read more

Noah's (formally Nick's) is an okay mini supermarket. I usually only go here to buy whole chickens or large slabs of meat, that I break down at home. Pantry items used to collect dust on the shelves, but it was gotten a little bit better. All of the pasta in the freezer section when it was Nick's has been replaced with wines. Nick's was supposedly an Italian deli, but I was never impressed with their sausages and have had much better in NY. Noah's is Korean owned, but doesn't stock any Korean foods. If they did, I would probably visit them more often. The butcher staff is always nice, though the counter does not smell great. They do stuffed crown roasts for the holidays, but some of the staff do not know what butterflying is. The place is hit or miss. read more

I bought candy and Arizona ice tea one piece of chicken breast, had bad experience with last owners, but seems a little better with the new staff. Meat counter is more organized and cleaner now, but still need something like brighter more inviting light and atmosphere. I give it three stars for attempting to make positive changes........probably need to wait like a month and go back and fully gage any improvements...... But I will still pop n for 99cent Arizona half and half lite tea and a giant KitKat Bar......you can have the giant candy if you drink the lite beverage that cancels out half the calories......lol read more

Not as good as it uses to be. I'm so upset that the previous owners decided to sell. They used to have some of the best quality meats in town. Well, not anymore. I recently bought some chicken thighs from here, and they were NASTY! They weren't fresh, they were small (at least smaller than what I'm used to getting from here), and they weren't cleaned/cut properly. Shame on that butcher. I'd give anything for the original owners to come back. You're better off buying your meat from a regular grocery store. read more

This has been my go to beer and wine place in Clinton. Its close by and they always have great beer specials/deals. I have grown a nice repour with the employees. They are always nice, friendly, and we have nice small talk. There is always a moment to smile and laugh at a lil jokey joke or something funny. I really enjoy the sense of community when I go there. I would like to try their deli seafood...I even think I will stop by today! read more

I like this place. Its a good spot to grab a nice bottle of wine. Sometimes regular corner/liquor stores only have regular wine. Nothing special. This spot has alot more to offer. Its small and kind of like a maze once you enter but the polite clerks and happy environment make it a good spot to get a smile and a nice different bottle of wine. apearance not Eye candy... I go to get wine,beer during football season very convenient; however they could definitely do something about the smell. There is a very répondent smell that seems to linger around the entire store. I see them making effort with incense to battle it but the smell is winning..... love their positive attitudes they're very nice and helpful. I will never purchase anything from this store again! I called for a product I purchased before and they told me that had one bottle left so I rushed only to see a whole case. The product didn't look the same but they told me it was the same company and in fact they knew them personally. When I went home the product taste nothing like the sauce I had and in fact it was not the same product. When I called the manager yelled at me and said why would I ask the employee instead of asking her. She said the employee doesn't know! Are you serious lady??? Then the manager tells me the company is out of business which was not true and they were doing business with another company and they will need a refund from them first. In addition I asked for a block of trout fish. The label said trout but when the fish defrosted the fish was actually whiting. The worst place ever! read more

THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!!! SIMPLY REPUGNANT!! I have frequented the former Nick's Supermarket for years, and this is definitely under new and unimproved management. The meats are not fresh and once I have seen sausage with a greenish tinge behind the counter, of course they will sell that too. I went to buy lump crabmeat on sale for $11.00, I got it home and it was totally rotten. Smelled horrible. I took it back immediately but lost my receipt. But since I was there less than an hour before, he remembered me and offered me another container of crabmeat. I said i would rather just get my money back, and the dishonest Korean took full advantage of my lack of receipt and told me the crabmeat was $9.00 and that was how much he'd be giving me. Oh well...a lesson learned. Oh, and the nice young lady behind the counter selling lottery tickets and blunts pretends to not be able to speak English. I wish I would have read the reviews before coming to this DISGUSTING place. Please read the reviews do not go for the health of you and your family. One of my coworkers recommended this place to me because I was looking to stock up my freezer with meats and save. You would be better off just going to the expensive Giant or Safeway. In my opinion the food is sold to these little hole in the wall places after the big stores like Giant and Safeway sell them to them. I always wonder what happens to the food when they are done with it. Well it ends up here. I kept the chicken in my fridge for two days and it smelled like death on day 2. Day 2!!! This place should be shut down by the Department of Health. These are ppl for Christs sake. I wouldn't even feed anything from here to my dog. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this little coner Market. Noah's Supermarket. The staff is always pleasant and willing to help me with my grocery shopping needs/requests. They have the most amazing and most importantly affordable submarine sandwiches in all of the surrounding area. Every week or so they will offer a special sub of the month for only $3.99. All if the other subs which they offer are at regular price of only $4.449-$4.99. Their huge made to order fresh subs are made with fresh meats, cheeses and tons of fresh toppings to choose from. Nicks absolutely puts other sub shops and corner markets to shame! They make their amazingly hearty meat made to order filled subs on the softest hoagie sub rolls. If I had the chance to, I'd eat just the hoagie alone by itself! Lol In addition to their amazing fresh deli sub sandwiches, they also have to offer its customers a fully operational and functional fresh meat and fish case. Including, all varieties of fresh deli meats, fresh baked or fried chicken breasts and legs/wings, fresh red meats, various types of fresh fish, crab legs, fresh and steamed oysters, clams, seafood salad, fresh lobster and seasonal and localy caught fish, various types of sausage, baked chicken, pork and lamb chops, ready made fresh to go dinner dishes such as beef stur-fry, baked chicken causarole, ETC. In addition to their market offerings, they offer a full range of spirits such as liquor, beer and fine wine. They also have homemade potatoe salad, fresh pickled pigs feet, freshly marinated peppers and so much more. They have one isle dedicated to fresh herbs and spices. The only down side is that most times when you try calling them to place an order for pick up, their phone is always busy. This drives me nuts because I'd love to be able to phone ahead with my order and have it ready to be picked up. I've found myself many times getting off work and being just down the street...with it being just a few minutes until they close and wanting to place an order BUT there phone is off the hook or busy and they are closed by the time I get there. Either way, I'd highly recommend Nicks and it's amazing staff for your awesome sub sandwiches, fresh meet, fish, grocery essentials, beer, wine, liquor, fresh cheeses and I even stop in to pick up my wining Power Ball Number as they offer and have a fully functioning lottery desk. Noah's Supermarket sucks!!! Crab meat was spoiled and when I returned it they claimed I did not buy it from them. I will never buy anything else from them. I wish Nick's still owned it. Their clientel has deminished. Every time I drive by and see their parking lot nearly empty, I smile. read more
