This place was just okay and I was honestly a bit disappointed with my meal. The bread was good, but the sandwich itself lacked enough toppings which made it pretty bland. I found myself getting bored with it halfway through. For the price, I would've rather gone to Jersey Mike's or Jimmy John's. I was surprised given the high Yelp ratings, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The interior was cluttered with boxes and had very limited seating with only about eight seats total and there was no outdoor seating available.

Yes, the many chain sub shops saturate this sound of the county. BUT, the small business deli shops surpass the chains in both quality and service. The Mad Italian was my St. Paddy's treat for the day. Customized to my specifications, the sandwich took me on a food coma. The meat portion was double that of any chain place. The spices and condiments tasted fresh. Excellent service by the same guy for years is what keeps me coming back.

    Super Smokey (12 Inches)

This place has the best subs in Loudon County If you have been to The Deli in Herndon this is the same family business. My favorite is the Super Smokey but you can't go wrong with any of their options! It's quick and convenient service and easy dinner take-out spot. Ambiance is chill, there's some seating if you want to eat there.

Best italian deli spot in the area, hands down. Meats on top of meats, its packed in there and it's fresh! The bread has the perfect crunch but soft on the inside. The mad italian is my go to every time. I'd skip the potato salad, it needed some salt and pepper..and honestly more mayo. Come here if you want an authentic sandwich with a good meat to bread ratio.

I've been on the hunt for a real, old-school deli around here, and I finally found it -- and wow, they did not disappoint. I ordered a small sandwich and it was absolutely stacked. The guy who helped me was amazing -- super friendly, great energy, and gave me a recommendation that was a perfect 10/10. The customer service was just as good as the food, which says a lot. I left full, happy, and already planning my next visit. Highly recommend

Love coming to this Deli location specifically. I'm not a sandwich person but the person who runs this shop has a gift for making sandwiches. I usually grab a budster and switch it with fresh mozzarella and add oregano (sooo good). They are always friendly and their shop is clean all the time. Looking forward to their potato salad and other desserts. Also I believe this deli has different cuts of meat because the fairfax location has boars head.

Then I opened the sandwich and it had 2 pieces of meat and 2 pieces of cheese, with a handful of arugula. This is not enough substance for the price. The workers were very friendly and kind but I can't justify frequenting at that price point. $31 for a lunch that's mostly bread is just too much.

Started with an espresso martini, a smoked Old Fashioned, and the fritto misto to share. Everything was really good. Then we split the lamb burger and the shrimp risotto for lunch. Both were excellent, although I think the risotto edged out the burger. Our server Mike made the whole experience. Before he even brought us water, he showed up with a bowl for Onyx. Come on, that's an instant five stars in my book. We ended up talking wine with him for a good part of the afternoon. He had us sample a few different pours before we landed on a Nebbiolo we loved. Later, after another conversation about wine, he brought over a taste of a white we'd never even heard of because he thought we'd enjoy trying it. It never felt like an upsell. It just felt like talking with someone who genuinely enjoys wine and likes sharing it with people. Relaxing patio, great food, excellent cocktails, and genuinely memorable service. We'll definitely be back, and Onyx probably will too.

After noticing there was an Italian restaurant at Leesburg Village Market, I went home and looked…read moreat their menu and Yelp reviews. Seeing that their recent reviews were good, we decided to give them a try. We were here on a Saturday around 4 p.m. for an early dinner. The place had a few occupied tables, including a large party. Our server, Steven, was prompt in getting to us and asked what we wanted to drink. I chose sweet iced tea while my husband had a Heineken 00. We decided to start our meal by sharing a caprese. It consists of: "Fresh mozzarella, vine-ripened tomatoes, olive oil, basil, balsamic reduction." There were 5 slices of tomato, each topped with a generous slice of mozzarella. We enjoyed this starter. The tomatoes were ripe, and the balsamic reduction added a nice flavor. For dinner, I ordered "lobster and crab ravioli, which consists of: "Brandy cream sauce, jumbo lump blue crab". This dish had 4 raviolis. From their appearance, one could tell they were handmade. The brandy cream sauce was well-balanced. I was glad to see that the brandy didn't take over the sauce, but rather, it complemented it quite well. I could taste the lobster and crab. The one thing I didn't like was the cost. For that reason, when we return for a meal, I would choose a different entree. Before heading here, I looked at the menu and told my husband that I thought he would like "Sausage and peppers rustica". This dish consists of: "Italian sausage, roasted peppers, red onions, cavatappi, spicy marinara, mozzarella". He looked at the description and said that's what he would order. The dish arrived hot and remained hot through the meal. It was quite filling and tasty. We actually had some room for dessert, so we agreed to share a serving of Tiramisu. It consists of:"Award-winning layered creamy rum-flavored mascarpone cheese, espresso-soaked lady fingers, espresso sauce". This dessert was quite tasty. The espresso added a nice flavor, and the whipped cream on top was a nice touch. Service from start to finish was excellent. The young woman at the host stand was friendly. We liked that she wiped down the menus before giving them to us. Steven, our server, was prompt, friendly, and efficient. He checked with us during the meal but wasn't overbearing.

The food was okay. My Brussels were very fiberous and inedible. The zucchini frite was the hero of the evening! The sauce that accompanied it was divine and the most flavorful sauce they brought to the table. My coworker enjoyed her meal! I would order something different next time. Our waiter said the Brussels are always like that. Nah, 86 those or figure out how to make them more tender.
