I tried to run the pump, to no avail, no water. I called our regular plumber, who took a few calls to get a reply around 8 p.m. After hearing the situation, they suggested D& L Pump. I called D&L and received an immediate call back from Ed who diagnosed it most likely a hole in the well pipe and agreed to come first thing in the morning. Ed arrived at 8 a.m. and located the well with a metal detector. He then dug down to confirm the location and said he would return by 1 with equipment to dig out and replace the damaged well pipe with a new submersible pump. He returned with his son, Austin, and Will who capably and professionally removed and replaced the well pipe and pump, in the rain, by 5:30. They are consummate professionals. While our first interaction with the company was…read moregreat, when things go wrong, Patriot Plumbing disclaims any responsibility and turns to blaming the innocent customer. In August, we called Patriot Plumbing to perform regular servicing on our acid neutralizer system for our well water. Part of the service was to refill it with media. The system had never caused us any problems. Immediately following the service, my wife and I awoke to find that our basement had flooded. The acid neutralizer system had discharged all the media that the Patriot Plumbing technician had just put in, clogging our drain and sewer pipes in the home. I immediately contacted my insurance company as well as Patriot Plumbing. At first, Patriot was very apologetic. They claimed that "this has never happened before" and promptly dispatched a technician to perform emergency plumbing services to mitigate the clogged drain lines. The technician didn't understand what happened, and he therefore couldn't recommend a fix for the water system. He also hesitated to recommend replacing the system, because he couldn't say that there was anything wrong with it. This left us with a flooded basement and an empty acid neutralizer system. Since our insurance company sought reimbursement from Patriot Plumbing for damages, they have really changed their tune. Suddenly, Patriot has cast the blame on us. "It must have been your faulty equipment." Patriot Plumbing has refused to refund the $535.11 that I paid in good faith to have my acid neutralizer system properly serviced, but which never was, and my basement was flooded. Instead, Patriot Plumbing has offered us a "discount" on replacing the system that they now claim is broken. Lisa from Patriot Plumbing even had the nerve to blame me and my wife for involving our insurance company! She stated that we should have relied on Patriot Plumbing to remediate the flooding with a simple shop-vac, rather than involving our insurance company who immediately dispatched a professional water remediation company. I wanted to provide a very honest review for consumers to make an informed decision. I have had some very positive interactions with Patriot Plumbing. Their service technicians are always friendly and prompt. However, when Patriot Plumbing screwed up, they disclaimed all responsibility, blamed me and my wife for it, and left us with a flooded basement, an empty acid neutralizer system, and a pile of bills to pay.

UNFORTUNATELY, Patriot did not close the permit so when I recently went to sell my house, the inspector came and it failed inspection. I called Patriot and spoke with a woman who claimed to be the owner. She said she would not do anything. She was very nasty. We had to hire another company and pay an additional $800 to replace the black pipe they left causing this inspection to fail. Patriot is the WORSE company in the world. Their shoddy workmanship caused so much grief. Patriot Plumbing does not stand behind their work.
