Nice people and this made me confused they came on time and accommodating but I was not expecting to pay over $400 for a little expansion tank that cost $35 at Lowe's. Again very friendly people but this so far has been the highest I've ever paid for any service including plumbing where I paid much less for much bigger work in the past. The most upsetting thing is that the guy just started changing the part like it was nothing major and didn't ask me if I was ok with such charge. It came blandly and unexpected. Our gas furnace was not turning on and it was start of Fall. This company was able to be here in two days which was fine. The tech very quickly saw that it was a loose ground wire which automatically shut down the furnace. Fixed the wiring. Also tested for gas's leaks and carbon monoxide. Checked that all three heat zones were working properly. Very good work. Price was moderate. I would use them again. In addition to furnace repair, they also do other electric work and plumbing. read more

Called for a water heater and the water heater was installed horrible. The 2 guys that installed it had no attention to detail. They put the unit so close to the AC and furnace the relief valve was unable to function if the tank had a pressure problem. No changing of the gas line to the unit and no changing of the drip pan. 2,400 dollars for a unprofessional job. Will never recommend. read more

Very expensive. $200 for 10 minutes work. It was a house call so I did not expect it to be cheap. But I did not expect it to cost $1,200 an hour. As far as I could tell the work was done well. We had never met before and he did not know who I was. We had no prior contact yet he proceeded to tell me that being transgender or gay was an abomination. Only those Christians' who worship as he does will get to heavan. The rest of of us, Jews, Baptists, Lutherans , Hindu, Muslims, Buddhists and - well you get the picture will be condemned for eternity. He clearly didn't know that my daughter is gay and that I am Jewish. He probably saw the statue of Mary that belongs to my wife. She and I both believe in a loving god. A god for whom how you pray is secondary to how you treat others. and your sense of humanity. I was not going to write this review. But I had to. I would not want someone in my house that believes I am going to hell and my child is an abomination. My child, as an aside, is a full time employed geo-technical engineer. They ripped me off, what a disgrace. I had a leaky toilet. They came and replaced a bolt, tank to bowl, and charged me $500.00. They charged me a $250 emergency fee without telling me they were going to charge it first (took 1.5 - 2 hours to get here, good thing they are emergency responders). Spent 20 minutes max, replaced 1-2 bolts for an additional $220.00. Told me I need other things replaced that would cost another $315.00 more. It would have been cheaper to replace the toilet. I left a message on the machine letting them know it was disgraceful. Don't use them, they will rip you off. read more

James came today with another worker and they were not giving up until the problem was fixed. They found the problem. This company is very reliable and knowledgeable. Let me start by saying it is hard to find a reliable company that is knowledgeable of steam radiator systems. We had an emergency on a week night in a home we were set to sell in less than a week. James came out at 9pm to fix the problem. Thank god he did because we had water pouring out of our old steam radiator system and we wouldn't have been able to sleep until it was fixed. After we closed on our new home we had Justin over to service our oil heating system which is probably older than I am. Both technicians wore masks and kept their work area clean which I really appreciated. read more

I don't do bad reviews often but when it deserves it I feel I have to. First call was pleasant...a guy came out because of a leak under the toilet. They said it had to be reset which took about 45 minutes and $360 later. Over priced but whatever, no more leak. When he left the toilet was making a noise it never made before but went away after flushing so I paid it no mind...Three days later the noise did not go away so I had to turn off the water supply and call them back to come see what's going on. They came today and fixed a valve saying the old one was broken and asked for another $185 for something that was working when they came the first time. So all in all...an hour worth of work and a purchase of one part total,that wasn't broken before, almost $600! Never again will I use this company. read more

This guy is a clown. Called him on Fri morning about a leaky pipe, I said I'd be home at 5. He said he "doesn't like working late on Fridays" so I asked my bf to go to my house in the afternoon. I let this plumber know he could go anytime between 2-5pm. When I get home at 5, my bf said he never came. So I call him back hey are you coming? I have never heard someone so disinterested to make money and do work. He sighed and said he'd text me back in 30 mins. I said ok. We waited 1hr 15mins, nothing, so we went out to dinner and run errands before leaving for vacation in the AM. Then he texts me hours later saying I called you 6 times why aren't you picking up the phone. Because I waited all day to hear from you and we had shit to do! I had a problem with my HVAC furnace and I called Jeff Burke to do the repair work. He came right away and after 10-minutes of checking the system, he told me that the exhaust fan motor in the furnace was bad and needed replacement. He used his mouth to pressure up the pressure switch which activates the gas valve and triggers the pilot. He told me that he would go to his distributor and find the part and get back to me. He collected the $150 for his visit and left and never got back to me to tell me if had found the part or if he would be able to fix the system - NO further communication. All he was interested in was to collect his $150 for the visit or maybe he didn't know how to fix the problem. By using his mouth to pressure up the pressure switch he also damaged the pressure switch which then, in addition to the inducer fan/motor assembly, also had to be replaced by the next company I called costing me lot more money. So disappointing how some people act so unprofessionally -- shame!! I found Jeff to be VERY expensive and not a reliable person to deal with. I would go to him to fix any future HVAC/Plumbing problems only if there was NO other person/company in the world who I could find. Recommend stay away from him and do yourself a favor! read more
