At the time of purchase, I was told that the expected delivery time was approximately eight weeks. After nine weeks, I still had no watch and, more importantly to me, very little communication or information regarding the status of my order. I understand completely that delivery dates for a new or difficult-to-obtain watch can change and that a retailer does not necessarily control when the manufacturer delivers the product. What disappointed me was the lack of proactive communication and the difficulty I experienced getting updates after having prepaid for the watch. Eventually, I decided to cancel the order and requested a refund, which was processed. I subsequently went directly to the Longines Boutique at Aventura Mall and ordered the same watch. I prepaid on August 31, and on September 19 I received a message that my watch had arrived. I picked it up the following day. The communication and service throughout that transaction were excellent. I am not writing this to bash Exquisite Timepieces, and my experience may not be representative of everyone else's. I simply think prospective customers--particularly those considering prepaying for a watch that is not currently in stock--should know about my experience. For customers in South Florida who are purchasing a Longines and are able to visit Aventura Mall, the Longines Boutique there is another option worth considering.

The shop is easy to find, it's in a good location off Tamiami Trail. The shop has an old time look with antique clocks on display. He got to work right away and the four watches I bought in, were done after only a few minutes. The price of each watch was a little over ten dollars, much better than the overpriced mall!
