Their fries then tasted good as well. This lasted for about 4-5 months. Then, one night we ordered and everything was wrong. Nothing tasted like it did before. The fries were fried in stale grease (can tell by color and taste). We didn't go back. Well, tonight I decided to give them a shot again. Needless to say, it was just as bad as the last time. Fries dark brown and gross. Hotdogs nor the chili tasted like they did when we first found them. No lie, my dog wouldn't eat the hotdog part I NEVER give bad reviews, but with times being harder and food being so expensive, I would hope someone would level with me. I'm not sure if there was an ownership change or food service change. Whatever happened around a year ago was NOT a change for the better.

While waiting in line to order there was only one young lady making and taking orders while 6 other people were standing around talking with one another. For a place that just recently reopened from a remodel due to a fire I would have thought the establishment would be well prepared and ran but that wasn't the case. My personal favorite is the Grilled Chicken Salad. Hot, freshly cooked, perfectly seasoned diced grilled chicken breast over a bed of fresh cut lettuce. Fresh Diced Tomatoes, Onion, Cheese and Pickles. Served in a real bowl for something like $5. lol Incredible. My Dad loves the hamburger steak with a baked potato. He gets it smothered in Grilled Onions, Peppers and Mushrooms. Mom loves the Patty Melt with Swiss Cheese. The Onion Rings are a great appetizer as well. They're fried perfectly every time. The Air Conditioning/Heat can be hit or miss in smoking (which my mom requires lol) but non-smoking is usually very comfortable. The decor is surprisingly well done for such a small town.
