It was going to be an expensive repair, which I had not anticipated. He made a suggestion to take all the diamonds out and scrap the rest of the necklace, which has significant gold weight, so I did just that! I picked out a diamond eternity band that I've had my eye at Argyle for about two years and with the high price of gold, I got the new ring in trade plus cash too! I went back again today, after he took out all the diamonds, and he spent nearly an hour with me to make 2 perfectly matching stacking diamond eternity bands to go on either side of the ring that I purchased the day before. We did go to other jewelry stores, and we did sell it for more than double of what Larry offered us. After being very loyal customers for many years, we will not return to Great American Jewelry. If you go and look through the reviews, you will also see that other customers have had the same experience there.
