Clockwork has been a huge fixture in the Middle Georgia skate scene for years with their Macon location, and now they've opened a new location in Savannah which is really logical considering we have three colleges, many high schools, and thus a lot of skaters over here. I was very sad when PlainView closed up, so it's good to see another authentic skate shop open. And the Clockwork Savannah location has the ultra-clean, bright, look and atmosphere of the Macon store plus the same sense of style in its well-curated selection of sneakers--something the Macon store long has been known for, I mean, you here of people trekking down form Atlanta to Macon to cop new sneakers at Clockwork, so they're pretty infamous in that regard. They also have a decent selection of clothing from brands like Diamond, Thrasher, HUF, and now some really sweet tees from Welcome Skateboards. And of course they have lots of decks--including Welcome's great, somewhat odd, throwback vert-looking ones--and skate trucks, wheels, bearings and hardware. Their shoe selection includes Nike SB, adidas, Converse, and Vans for skating plus Asics and Saucony throw-back designs. The staff is really chill and friendly, too. Certainly a big and necessary addition to Savannah's growing youth culture scene--very glad they're here. read more

Such a great shop! We were visiting from orlando & my son just didn't head my suggestion of bringing his skateboard, so Saturday morning we went down & purchased a complete deck. The young man mining the store was really knowledgeable & personable, the store had a nice selection of skateboards, clothes/shoes, & accessories. Too bad all the old-school brands are being taken over by Nike & Vans, which we had a convo about. He explained that the younger gen only knows those commercial brands, so they don't stock the little guys much anymore, like DC, Emerica, Lakai.... My son loved the deck, bought it with his own money, & had a blast skating all over Savannah after that! We will rerun again! read more

Dude behind the counter was beyond rude , dark haired gentlemen with a beard needs to get a new job. The place clearly looked open and as I tried to open the door he said " WERE CLOSED MAN!" In a rude manner. I won't come back here and you shouldn't either. If this man isn't the owner,the owner should look into whom they employ. Or get a closed sign might help instead of a rude attitude. read more

This place honestly gave me an extremely unique experience. Walked in, smelled weed instantly. I got asked if I own a a mask and said no, so he pointed to the masks he was giving out, cool. Then my girlfriend had taken a bite of her delicious cupcake from Mable's. And the cashier instantly said, " you tryna wear your mask since ya got one now?" In the most cocky tone ever. This man didn't know that I was going to be a very good costumer and buy a pair of shoes or even two. This was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had in an any business I'be ever stepped in. Cool spot. Guys behind the counter are really cool and can clue you in to some spots around town if you're here to skate. Nice balance of skate brands and streetwear. As a visitor to Savannah, there are tons of chain clothing stores and so many women's boutiques, so it's nice to have a store like this if you're looking for something a little more fresh. A must-visit if you skate, but still worth a browse for the clothes and shoes even if you don't. read more
