Cool spot, cool vibe, cool idea, just not for me. My girlfriend and I popped to Savannah on our way up from Florida going back home to the 757 (Virginia), and I saw this on a billboard so I yelped it and added it to our list of places we would pop in. It's a small spot with loud music, which kinda was overwhelming, and the people that were working were a bit abrasive. My girlfriend and I both agreed about the one worker being too much in our business- we just wanted to roam around and look, but it kinda made us wanna get out of there quicker than we would have, had we had the time to just look on our own. The person kinda pushed to get us a fitting room, which we didn't need- I was afraid to hold anything up from the rack to look at, because I didn't want a fitting room. They have lots of cool things in there, but also very pricey. $150 for a windbreaker suit? Not today. We went to the shop a couple doors down where they let us free roam and the prices were WAY more reasonable. We were happy to check it out, but would not go visit again. Maybe this is the "Geriatric Millennial" in me, but give me my space to look and on top of that, don't charge over $100 for a windbreaker suit. read more

Looking for something to do while in town and took the short walk from the Hyatt. The store is nicely staged and the staff was incredibly helpful. I purchased a pair of jeans, a belt, pink booties to die for and a denim romper that needed a good home. The ladies helped me put insoles i popped out to cvs to grab in the boots to make sure they were going to work for me. I was out of money but hated to leave the incredible atmosphere in the store. I'm all ready following them online to check back in for finds when back home. Shops like these can be hit or miss since I am not a size 4 but they had quite a selection in all sizes. read more

Absolutely loved my experience here! Me and a couple girlfriends happened to pop in during Memorial Day weekend on the way to brunch, and ended up staying for so long! Erica is amazing, and so great at pulling options I would never select for myself. She really knows how to dress different body types, and spent so much time one on one with me talking about outfit possibilities. She shared so much about her life and asked me about mine, making it such a wonderful and warm shopping experience. I was in the previous location a few months back but I hadn't been in the new location. The store has a fun vibe with loads of choices to select from. The lady at the register was frIendly and helpful. The only thing different would be that this location is so tiny compared to the previous location and with much less merchandise. Happened to wonder in and loved the vibe. Sometimes vintage stores are very cluttered and this one is very organized. Ended up with a very glittery green blouse. It was a little pricey, but it was totally worth it for the uniqueness. The lady behind the counter, not sure if she was the owner or not (I never asked) was very helpful and friendly and definitely looked the part. I've visited a ton of vintage clothing stores and none of them have as big of a selection as they do at House of Strut. I believe there were 6 or 7 rooms filled with clothes. They even had a room with men's clothing. Their pieces were affordable and in great condition. The customer service was good. I would definitely recommend shopping here. read more
