I called to get a ballpark on how much it would be to unclog my drain. I was explicit that it wasn't unclog the toilet as we found the issue after we removed the toilet to replace it. They told us it would be $185 we scheduled the team to come out. When they got here they told us that the $185 was to unclog the toilet, it would cost us $295/hour and take 2-3 hours. I told them that I had been clear that it wasn't unclogging the toilet and that I felt like they were pulling a bait and switch. I even offered to split the difference between the quoted price and the price for an hour. No go, they offered me $20 off. I called Summit Plumbing. Had a clogged kitchen sink. I called them and they were able to come out the fastest and we'll priced. Louis showed up and found that the main sewer line was clogged. Went through the main sewer line (he recommended and I opted for the camera) and we found that there was a belly in the line, cause grease/soap to stick, etc. and that caused he drain. Got the clogged cleared and I'll be reaching out to get the belly fixed next. They communicated well, showed up on time, explained everything, completed the job, did a follow up call, we'll priced, and did great work! *I highly recommend the camera. Without it, you may get the issue fixed, but it may not tell the whole story. The camera allows you/them to see what exactly the issue is and how to avoid future visits. I had water backing up into my kitchen sink Friday night and then would drain. Then Saturday through out the day the water would back up and then drains numerous times, I tried using Draino and well that was a waste of 9.00 dollars! Sunday the same thing and started making calls around. I called one guy actually Saturday and he never called me back and still hasn't. I was concerned about replacing the waste pipe in my front yard. I had just installed new concrete curbing around my flower beds. I had Just had my underground irrigation pipes replaced. After watching my neighbors get their line replaced, I thought it advisable to have mine checked, so I called Clog Pro to have mine scoped. I discover that my waste line is both broken, and restricted! As I gaze across the street to view the brown "skunk Stripe" and assorted rocks & debris in my neighbor's yard after completion, I think about the recent curbing and new sprinkler lines being destroyed. I requested estimates from several companies, including Clog Pro. The estimates were varied and uninspiring. After they viewed the video of the pipe they said "we gotta tear up the street", or "no, we don't have to"... "you have to personally get a permit from the city", or "no you don't need a permit", "we have to break your curbing and sprinkler lines", or "well, we will TRY to save them", YIKES! Clog pro came out and explained the process in great detail, and offered options based on what they may find underground. Yes, the city DOES require a permit, and they will get it for me. They will also arrange for the required locating service for gas lines etc, and all required inspections. The process will be seamless and painless, totally turn key for me. They assured me that they would not break my curbing, and if they had to remove sprinkler lines, they would be cut, and repaired, not ripped out and left. They assured me they would restore the yard to pre-dig condition, and all for a competitive price! Sounds to good to be true! Everyone knows how salespeople lie, right? There are few things scarier than a plumbing issue on a holiday weekend. We are fortunate we called Clog Pro. They gave us a same-day arrival window, called when they were running a little late, called again when they were on their way ... took at look at the situation and gave us a set price. (A set price!) It was quite the clog, 65 feet out, we were sweating that last 15 minutes of power snaking, but ta-da! A year ago my wife hired Clog Pro to come out and look at our dishwasher. For reasons that were unknown to us, whenever we ran the appliance the water would start to back up through the drain which forced us to run the disposer to drain the sink. A Clog Pro technician came out to decipher the issue and within a matter of minutes was convinced that we simply had a clog that had to be removed. That simple diagnosis cost us around 200.00. The technician did remove a clog, but the very next day the issue returned. When my wife called Clog Pro to report that we still had the issue, another technician came out and believed that our disposer was the issue. He offered to install a new one for 500.000 at which point my wife said no and politely turned him away. She actually installed a new one herself for not even half that price. However, even then, the drain issue never went away. Fast forward to today and we had to replace that same dishwasher. A major appliance store came out and installed the new machine and during the installation, their technician discovered that our tubes underneath the sink running from the dishwasher and the disposer were installed incorrectly. That was the reason our three-year dishwasher died because the backup in the drain wore the machine out early. I can't fault Clog Pro for the dishwasher installation (a home builder was responsible for that), but the first tech who came out should have looked closer under our sink. The installer found it within minutes leading us to believe that the Clog Pro technician was either too busy to look or simply overconfident. Or, perhaps, he didn't know he had to. Regardless, we had to pay almost 930.00 dollars which could easily have been avoided had Clog Pro done its due diligence. Look elsewhere. read more

I have just acquired the building and didn't know much about where things were but Louis was patient and helped me figure out where the cleanout was hidden. It was a pretty bad clog but Louis kept me apprised of what he was doing. A lot of the clog was in the city owned part of the main and Louis called the city and advocated for us. Very pleased with my service from Clog Pro! It started with me calling last Thursday, and I got the appointment set for the following Monday (today) with an 8-10am window. I received a 15 min call ahead of time to confirm I was home and ready for the appointment, within my window. Louis was so friendly, personable and professional. Not a big fan of the hourly plumbing charge company. Granted, the company we went with charged a lot, they said they charge by the hour, and had a one hour minimum AND a van charge. Our problem only took a half hour, so I'm glad we didn't work with this company. What the heck is a van charge? I asked, and was told it's $20 for them to come a quarter mile but it's for the cost of gas. On top of a $250 per hour even if it's just to fix a simple clog? People should definitely go with any other company for small problems. I almost forgot to mention the person on the phone tried to play the very transparent, "Well actually an appointment just cancelled so I could come look at your problem in the next hour, but you have to hop on it now because it won't be here for long." I was selling a house and needed a hydro-jet based on the home inspection. Clog Pro was recommended by my realtor. I got a quote of $239 per hour and scheduled an appointment. Clog Pro showed up late. Then the technician got out of the truck with a clipboard that had an hourly rate of $239 and an additional hourly rate of $179. I questioned them about the additional $179 per hour and they stated regardless of the quote, they couldn't guarantee the work with out the additional cost. After stating I didn't want to pay the additional amount and we should confirm with the office, the technician stormed off, got in his truck and left with an explanation. I called another hydro-jet company and they professionally completed the work for their quoted amount (actually less than the $239). Be careful of a low quote and extra charges. In a nutshell: Clog Pro Vancouver got the auger stuck in the toilet, shattered the toilet, spilled 'shit' on the carpet, said would replace toilet but didn't. They cost me a new toilet & its installation. To the owner of Clog Pro Vancouver: I called your company to come out to unclog a toilet. We had used you before. This time your technician came and the augur got stuck in the toilet. He fussed with it for close to an hour - even took out the toilet but still couldn't get the auger out. I was getting nervous and told him to please stop as this is getting no where and I was worried he could damage pipes etc... He asked for a little more time (5-10 more minutes) to try and get it out. I allowed him that time. He then came out and said he couldn't get it out, that another associate will come out to get the auger out. I followed up with the office and got a call from (you) the owner. You said I heard the auger is stuck, you'll need a new toilet and we will take care of you no matter what. You also said tomorrow another technician and a plumber will come out and install a new toilet for you. The next day, Jesse, a supervisor came out but without a plumber. He tried but couldn't get the auger out. He told me he needs to pull out the toilet and break it - If he finds something was stuck in there causing the auger to get stuck (ie if we had dropped something in there) then it's not 'our fault' - you buy the toilet and we install it at no charge. But if there's nothing lodged in there, then obviously it was our fault and we will purchase a toilet and install it for you. I said that sounds fair. Jesse carried the toilet outside by himself, was sweating bullets and I thought he was going to have a heart attack because the toilet was too heavy for one person to carry by himself. Once he caught his breath, he told me while carrying the toilet fluid dripped on my carpet (because a tarp wasn't put down to protect the area) - but not to worry because the office will call in a carpet cleaner. He broke the toilet, found nothing was stuck and said that confirmed carelessness from the 1st technician had caused the augur to get stuck. He also said on Monday a plumber will pick up the toilet and install it. All of this time and chaos over two days and I will confidently say I stayed calm and courteous. At no time did I make your technicians feel bad - not even when (shit) literally was carelessly spilled on my carpet. I chalked it up to, we're all human, stuff happens and it'll all be taken care of. But this morning you called me to try & weasel out of it all, you were short and dismissive and wouldn't even let me talk. You came up with a new story line: that I rushed your 1st technician out so he couldn't do his job - that Jesse said there is a crack in the hole in the ground and that caused the augur to get stuck. Really? How is it that Jesse didn't mention that to me on Friday? I finally lost my patience this morning. Shit happens - no pun intended here. But as a business owner you should stand by your word, your work and your service. You are extremely unprofessional and your tone and approach on the phone this morning was unacceptable. I've already purchased a new toilet and it will be installed by a reputable resource. You can rest now knowing you saved yourself some dollars - but did so at the cost of your reputation. 5 stars for the customer service and workmanship 2 stars for the price I was charged a $22 truck charge and $210 for replacing a flush valve and a "tank to bowl" kit. The plumber quoted me $175/hr for the labor to dismantle the tank and said it would take an hour. He was done in 1/2 hr but didn't adjust the labor charge. Perhaps they have a one hour minimum charge but he should have told me. I really appreciate he was done so quickly and the job was done well. Would I pay a little more for good service and reliability? Yes, I would but I can't help but feel they overcharged for the time spent on the job. read more

I used ClogPro recently for a problem toilet that was ghost flushing and a dripping washer line. A date was set then it had to be rescheduled due to the plumber getting hung up at another project. I appreciated the good communication however it just lengthened the project timeline. Then when the plumber finally came out he didn't have all the parts and had schedule yet another time to come back out. Which ended up being a good thing because he didn't fix the ghost flushing on the first visit. I was encouraged to replace all of my toilet flapper components (again a good thing) but it made the cost a lot more than anticipated. The cost for the plumber to just show up was pretty pricey ($175). In the end everything got fixed, the plumber was great however I might shop around to find a more affordable company with a quicker turnaround. read more

It's 9PM and a toilet in my house was running fiercely. Apparently it's some kind of industrial toilet and hence there's no valves in the back or other obvious way to turn it off. I called a few local plumbers, thinking I'd have to have someone come out immediately to fix it. On my third call I reached Marsh of Clog-Pro. He was great, I texted him a picture of the toilet and he told me what I needed, which was a large monkey wrench (obtained from a neighbor) and then walked me through fixing it. Problem solved -- he was very knowledgeable, professional and willing to help at an odd hour. He could easily have charged me for the time or an expensive site visit, but none of that happened. Had a branch sewer line clogged, no joy from one of our bathrooms for toilet, shower or sink. Did some online research and settled on Clog Pro. First thing I want to point out, though, is that Yelp reviews are split into "recommended" and "not recommended". I don't know what magic they use to split them out, but the "nots" are not visible at all using the mobile app, and you have to scroll to the bottom on the full site to click a link to them. Clog Pro's "nots" have a single 4-star review, and then a pile of 5-star reviews. Jesse made it out here, where we live on the far edge of civilization (less than a mile before the state forest), less than 3 hours after we called. I had made a small mess of my feeble clog removal efforts, and he was kind to me about it, lol. About an hour later all was resolved. It was not cheap, but the reviews that complain about cost are in my opinion somewhat ridiculous. He showed up in a huge truck with all kinds of equipment ready to tackle anything, and towing an expensive jetting trailer for removing clogs. That stuff isn't free, and if you want someone to come out and help you with this kind of problem, you want it done right, done promptly, and done the first time without return trips. Paying someone for their time, their fuel, use of their equipment, and expertise/experience, you get what you pay for. I came back from vacation to find what appeared to be water in my foyer from the outside faucet, possibly from a leak inside the wall. I contacted 7 different plumbers and the soonest I could get someone to even come look at it was 1-2 weeks out. Clog Pro actually answered the phone, and scheduled someone between 2-4 p.m. the same day I called. I got a courtesy call at 3 p.m. indicating that the plumber had a delay at the last site and would be coming closer to 4 p.m. I even received a call letting me know that they were about 15 minutes out. The office staff were very helpful and courteous. Robert and Chris took care of things in short order. The faucet wasn't leaking into the wall (probably external water leaking under the door from the bad valve that sprayed everywhere) and he replaced it in about 30 minutes and gave a lot of "insider" tips on how to maintain the valve so it won't wear out, to look at my meter to verify if there's ever a leak, and put a superior faucet on my house versus the builder-grade one. Their hourly rate was about $50 more than the competitors, and I'll gladly spend the extra money on respectful, competent, and efficient contractors!
