And even though I could barely understand him because he spoke very little English, I felt as though he was bestowing on me great words of wisdom! About 4 months ago I tried to get in with my regular barber. He wasn't on that day and one of the guys at the shop gave me his (i assume) his personal number to contact him. I got no response (but didn't bother me as I probably wouldn't have answered a work call on my day off). I then call the shop again two days later (when I know my barbers is working) only to have them play a game of pass the phone, while I was told they were busy and had no openings. I couldn't even get info about their next available day. Usually when I call I ask for my barber and it's him i usually speak directly to. this time that wasn't the case. I'm not sure what the issue was as I have never had an issue or caused a problem. I always tipped my guy 33% gratuity (even after the price increase during the pandemic). Not sure what caused a breakdown but I know i haven't done anything to anyone to deserve the childish manner in which they handled a haircut appt.
