Short and sweet review. Cloth and crown is one of the best specialty stores in the state of Montana. Always on my must go to when I'm in Missoula. I follow C&C on instagram and spotted their MONTANA embroidered sweatshirts. Called them and they helped me pick out a color and shipped it quickly. Sweatshirt, t's, jeans, sweaters,dress - all pieces purchased are definitely the most worn and favored items in my wardrobe. Beautiful shoppe! read more

My fiancee and I visited Missoula trying to decide if it would be a place we'd like to pack up and move to. It's people like Jenna (the owner of Cloth & Crown) that helped make our decision. I stumbled into this fantastic little shop on a search for a small gift to for my lady-friend, and left with a great scarf and shirt combo. Jenna was extremely warm and helpful in finding the perfect combination. We ended up coming back again and getting some great recommendations for things to do in the area. The hospitality was tremendous and based on the people we spent time with here, it's not a matter of if, but a matter of when we make Missoula our home. read more

We spent Christmas in Helena at my in-laws and stopped in for a quick look at shopping. I Google'd the mall but was swayed away by the reviews for the dismal shops. I did a quick Yelp search to find a nice women's boutique. We parked on Higgins and decided to just walk and follow my app compass. We were looking for "Coco Altier" with the address of 329, which my hawk-eye husband spotted with a completely different name but very fashionable clothing on the display window. We walk in and I declare that I am on the search for new jeans but am not about to drop 300 bones on those oh-so-hot pair of William Rast. The owner discreetly mentioned that she was having a half-off clearance on a line of designer jeans that went bankrupt and her loss would be my gain. Her sale wouldn't happen until two days after my visit though but she would honor that discount for me today. Uh, grab my size and sign me up! I tried on three pairs of retail ~$200 jeans, which seem to ALWAYS make my butt look extra good. (Of course, right?) My husband and I quietly chat behind the dressing room cover and talk about how many pair of Target jeans I could buy for the price even with the 50% discount. For a really nice pair of $200 jeans, which I would get for half, I know I couldn't pass that up. In addition, my husband being a bicycle retail snob made his own comparison to a retail bike specialty shop to a Target bike and convinced his impulse-remorse shopper of a wife into getting 'em! "Uh, totally honey? That's exactly why I need to bring these home!" Great service, beautiful clothing, and good ol' hospitality. I would love to stop in every time we're in Montana and making the trek back to Spokane. We didn't even have to go to any other boutiques nearby because I got my jeans fix. read more

Cloth & Crown is my new favorite boutique! This is exactly what Missoula needed... the clothing is gorgeous, classic, on-trend and in a range of price-points! I picked up a pair of earrings that the owners sister made ($48), a floral silk scarf ($24), a pair of William Rast jeans ($168) and a beautiful French Connection dress for $128! I am in love all of my new puchases and it was a great shopping experience- The owner is so sweet, knowledgeable and very fashionable herself- so i trust her styling advice! Cloth & Crown is by far one of the best boutiques in Montana and hands down my favorite! Jenna and her staff always do such a lovely job creating a welcoming and unique experience every time I stop in. They carry quality brands and are always on trend (which can be hard to find in Montana.) Jeans, jewelry, scarves, tops, dresses...you'll find it all! Not only is her inventory top notch, the esthetics of the shop are so wonderful. She's always keeping it fresh! Definitely a must-stop if you are visiting Missoula! Warm, kind, and fashionable, she is someone who doesn't lie just to get the sale, and always tries to come up with the right outfit.
