This store is amazing!!! I knew I had to go inside when I walked past and saw a Nooworks dress (my favorite clothing brand) hanging on the rack outside. The front half of the store is a clothing boutique with mostly women's clothes (and some mens) and the back room is vintage clothing. I didn't even go in the back honestly, partially because I can rarely find cool plus size vintage clothes so it's not usually worth it anyway, and because I was so happy with the front half of the store that I didn't feel the need to. They have clothes by soooo many cool brands in so many cool patterns and colors. Everything from floral jumpsuits, botanical dresses, abstract bodysuits, neon shirts, etc etc. I could have easily spent my entire paycheck in here! I ended up leaving with a Nooworks shirt in a print I've been eyeing on their website for months. Amazing spot! read more

First time in Missoula, wandering around and found this charming boutique. It was Betty's birthday so they were handing out free earrings! I scored a Compania Fantastica bikini 50% off. You'll also find brands like RVCA, Obey, Le Lis, can't remember them all. Sustainable clothing brands too, yay. Love all of the assorted accessories and lip balms and goodies sprinkled around the register. Great spot to treat yourself or a find a gift! read more

This store was so so cute, there were so many options for summer clothes, tons of color and patterns!! it was also super super welcoming, the staff was so kind and helpful!! I don't ever leave reviews, but I just had to for here, so that's saying something!!! How is it that no one has reviewed Betty's on Yelp yet?! Anyway, Betty's Divine is on the Hip Strip and is the closest to a cool boutique that you'll get in Missoula. If you like digging and searching, this is your place. The merchandise changes frequently and has a great selection for the neon-hipsters or the Dust Bowlers or even just the t-shirt and jeans crowd. The shoe selection is great, they have any color tights you could want, and the sale trunk in the back is even better. There have been numerous times I've stopped a gal to ask where she got *insert clothing item here* and her response is simply, "Betty's." And yes, they have men's clothing too: thankfully no Affliction, Ed Hardy or any of the other rhinestone atrocities that are plaguing today's youth. Now, truth be told, I have bought very few things at Betty's. They have adorable dresses and awesome jackets but sometimes I just cannot justify the price ("boutique" rates for items that are small run or not mass produced, I'm assuming). Having said that, the minds behind Betty's are so supportive of the scene in Missoula (stocking any and all local brands worth their salt, sponsoring Dead Hipster Dance Party, seasonal fashion shows, Project Selvedge, the amazing kickball league, etc.) that basically if you're young and live in Missoula, you're kind of obligated to buy at least a little something from Betty's Divine. Terrible service. The past few times I have been in there, the staff have been rude. Today, I went there looking to buy myself something nice. When I entered, the shop girl glared at me and continued her conversation with the other employee. Even though I was the only customer, neither one of them asked to help me. I left the shop after 15 minutes without having been acknowledged. I felt so unwelcome. With such limited shopping choices in Missoula, it is unfortunate that this one has slipped so far. Poor customer service like this is unacceptable. I hope the owners start to hire better employees so I can return to spending money there. read more

Went in on a Sunday afternoon May 15th and the staff was completely indifferent. There was at least two people working and possibly three. Didn't bother to welcome or wait on my wife as she was trying to get help with shoes. The staff had elitist attitude and were less than welcoming. I visited Betty's about two weeks ago. Upon entering the store, no one offered to help me or even say hello. The employee was a bit cold and aloof towards me and it actually felt really uncomfortable. I completed my purchase in a hurry just to get out of there. And I hate to say it, but had I not been in need of something very specific that day, I would have not made a purchase at all because of the poor service. In the future, I am sad to say I will be taking my business elsewhere. Cool store, great products, but customer service needs improvement in my opinion. read more

Wow, was absolutely impressed by the complete lack of customer service and overall rudeness. This is surprising when considering Betty's is a small, local boutique dependent on word of mouth and where reputation is priceless. Almost felt I was transported into a Seinfield episode with the soup Nazi with the exception that I never did get acknowledged nor did I see anyone lined up for "soup". And here lies the problem....my husband and I showed up on a Sunday afternoon to an empty store with the exception of the employees who couldn't even take the time to say howdy let alone ask if we needed anything, other than to give us the stink eye. We felt that we weren't hip enough and weren't even worth a token head nod. So we left, headed home, ordered the shoes on Zappos, and spent $200 happily with a business that delivered as advertised. Great to have a fun, hip, relatively affordable boutique in Missoula. Some of the styles are a bit out there, but I totally give props to the folks who can rock the style in a small rural mountain town that somehow classifies fleece and carharts for both casual and evening attire. The hype surrounding the store can get a little overkill sometimes, which is common for a community limited in shopping options, but overall, I've been satisfied with my purchases there. The customer service is okay, unless you personally know the employees, but they all seem to have a great time while they are at work. This, to me, is evidence of a good owner who provides a fulfilling work environment for her employees. Plus, if the employees are having fun, it makes me want to buy more, which I guess, is any business owner's intent. In the end, I am pleased to know that this is locally owned boutique, birthed by the creativity of a woman. Nicely done, and the decor is fun, fresh, and bodacious.
