Francesca's Collections is a much needed alternative to the subdued, preppie wear that dominates the Town Center. When you walk through the doors, you're greeted with an array of hip jewelry of better quality than you'll find in most moderately priced department stores. I bought a pair of cute bangle earrings for $15 and they actually look like they'll last me awhile. In the center of the store you find kitschy gifts, books, accessories and home decor, like vintage-inspired wall-hangings. The coolest gift item I discovered was the Personal Library Kit, a great present for your favorite bibliophile. The kit is designed to track books as they are lent out to friends and family--what a great idea! Near the back of the store is the women's clothing section. Francesca's Collections clothes' cost, quality, and style are reminiscent of H&M--bright, youthful, and fashion-forward. You won't find subtle pastels here.
