This place is a truly a hidden gem, like really hidden if you don't know where it is exactly it's almost impossible to find. Once you get in there you see rows and rows in this huge warehouse style building of clothes. To shop here you should either 1. Not be looking for anything or 2. Looking for something specific. They have a great selection of t-shirts and vintage clothing. Whether you dress in vintage everyday or you need something for a costume this is the place to come. I will say with all the people and rows of clothes it does get crowded and overwhelming. This place is fantastic and almost overwhelming with how much there is. Great selection and everything seems to be sorted by what type of product it is, and then color. Like other legit reviewers here, I was disappointed by the quality and selection of the merchandise at Pixel. A small portion is actually vintage and a large portion of that is in poor condition. The owner, when he's not being creepy and flirting with you, will talk your ears off about his buying prowess. Yuck and yuck. But maybe somehow he's never been at a vintage store and doesn't know better about how one should be run. Or maybe he's just so into telling you about the ways he's skirted Cincinnati business codes through family connections that he doesn't realize how odd the whole set up is. Not only is the clothing unique, but Stu is incredible! He will greet you at the door and bring you upstairs to explain how it works. I found so many incredible pieces that I am absolutely in love with. Then after the warehouse I went to his high end store. I was blown away by the pieces he has there as well. Ive never met anyone with such an incredible collection in my life. I could spend days going through stuff and still not have seen it all! Stu took the time to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for. He genuinely cares about each customer and wants you to be satisfied and won't make you feel rushed at all. This is not a vintage clothing store. This is not even a glorified thrift store. This is a subpar used clothing store where the cost of getting the stains and holes removed from the clothing, cost more than the clothing itself. You have to go up three stories of stairs before entering the place, and then listen to the owners brag about their life story before you can even shop. Thank you for your resume, but it's not impressive. Then there is no air conditioning, the lights flicker, and the owners are actually absolutely mean and rude. I don't care if I were to spend $1, or $1,000 on clothing, they're not getting my money. Save your time by not setting up an appointment, and just go check out the local Goodwill. You'll find the same stuff and probably have a better experience, or at least AC. Not even worth one star. read more

Every corner of the HUGE warehouse space was filled with eccentric clothing and other accessories, hand picked by the owner Stu. Needless to say-I was amazed by the quality and selection, and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. $$ wise, pricing was very reasonable and Stu was willing to work with customers to get what they wanted for the right price. This place is nuts! First, there is no official sign outside. Look for the double doors with some "Pixel 19" stickers on it. Then, go up a couple flights of stairs, to the gray door with a "Pixel 19" sticker on it. Once inside, prepare to be overwhelmed! This place is chock full of vintage clothing for men and women and everyone in between, as well as accessories, art, and decor. Plan to spend no less than an hour, and probably more like two or three hours if you want to go through it all. They have stuff from the 1920s up to the 1990s. I'd say it weighs heavily in the 1980s, though. There have to be thousands of tee shirts, too. If you like old-school, ironic, tees, this is the place to come. Cash is best (no tax!) but they accept card or Venmo. Tips: music was super loud, so be mentally prepared for that, also, bring a headlamp or a flashlight. Seriously. This is the mecca of vintage clothing. I've never seen so much in one place. Honestly, you could spend days in here and you still wouldn't even get through everything. It's like a treasure hunt! Stu is incredible. He lives and breathes vintage clothing, and you can tell that he truly loves what he does - he would spend all day with you if he could just to make sure that you get exactly what you're looking for! That's actually what I did. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT. You have to make an appointment. This is not TJ Maxx, just walk right in. This is a warehouse. There's no front desk or anything like that so you have to pre-plan (I'm sure that you could go the day of, Stu is flexible and cool like that), but just to be safe call ahead. Okay, so I made an appointment, get there, Stu lets me in and it's the most beautiful, gigantic, coolest spot ever. He shows me around, in addition to the mountains and mountains of the clothes, etc, they also have furniture and even rent it out to movie productions. So I find some things here at their warehouse, but what I was really looking for was vintage concert t-shirts (specifically an AC/DC shirt). So Stu took me to their second location, which was just as wild as the first, but smaller. It was here that they have the good good stuff and I found exactly what I came for - Stu pulls out the Holy Grail of concert t-shirts. Authentic Eagles concert baseball-shirts like I have only dreamed of...the kind Hot Topic tries time and time again to replicate but fails. They also come with a price, but that's assumed, right? So anyways, if you're looking for anything vintage, anything. Start here. Stu works all day long, I think every day. I doubt he takes days off, if ever. This place is such a gem, I don't even know where to start. Stu, the owner is an amazing character. Truly living out his dream, he is both passionate and knowledgeable of all things clothing related. Basically, he is an American badass. He is of course stylin' like crazy, respectful, and respectable. He is very concerned about making his customers happy. The prices are unable to be matched anywhere else, unless somewhere were to give you free clothes, and even then, Stu practically does when you buy in bulk. Pixel 19 is FULL of clothes. Trunks, filled to the brim to the point where you can't close them back up. Unless of course you decide to buy some clothes from them, which you will, as you cannot resist the gems which fill these treasure chests. Stu also has amazing decorations. He has a tasteful eye for the unusual and the unique, all of which is quality. Buying aside, simply LOOKING at what Stu has is breathtaking, and makes the trip worthwhile. Pixel 19 is a vintage museum, and Stu is the perfect curator. He takes pride in sharing the knowledge of his passion. You will leave Pixel 19 amazed, taking home a wonderful experience.
