The paint came off when I washed it and presumably I inhaled some of it. I called the store to let them know and see how they would try and make this right and George let me know that I could scrape the paint off, maybe I should stick to clear glass and apologized. He could have offered to replace the dome, it wasn't free. I really want to like these people. This is just beyond negligence and poor customer care.

The staff and owner are knowledgeable and passionate about what they sell. I spent over an hour discussing the advantages of similarly priced big screen Sony, LG and Samsung OLED models before choosing an LG. Jason, their installer knows TVs inside and out and is a perfectionist when it comes to installations. He actually used a carpenter's level to insure my TV was perfectly angled and positioned. He performed all of the basic set up and then some. Tell him your viewing preferences and he adjusts the set to those before he departs. I requested that my new LG G5 be set for accurate streaming and cinema and he obliged. It felt good doing business with a civilized locally owned store. (Incidentally, I paid the full retail sale price.)

Despite this, they left me completely in the dark about my application, even though I had asked several times over the course of a month if they were still considering me. Every time I had called, they had assured me that they would call me back the following day or so, and there was not one time they had given me a call. I finally walked in one day to ask if they had been receiving my calls or the notes fellow staff members left at the front desk to call me back, but their GM said their "interviewer is in Peoria and won't be back for a week or so, but he knows you are interested in the job, we will give you a call when he is back." I never got a call. I had called a few times the following week, and left a voice mail. Finally, the last time I called, someone answered the phone and told me that they will call me that evening because, "The manager works in the evening." ... it was the manager who picked up, I had called enough times to recognize his voice, and other staff had told me he would be working at this time "like always." Again, no call back. I would have preferred they told me they weren't considering me, but instead, they lead me on for weeks and failed to just be up front. Their lack of communication is atrocious, and it amplifies how truly unprofessional their staff is, especially their manager, Taylor.

Then just before Christmas decided I wanted to get some high quality hifi equipment and Geoff and Ryan spent almost a whole Saturday with me auditioning different set ups until I found something that way exceeded my expectations in performance. These guys really know what they are talking about and don't just sell you the most expensive stuff they have. In fact they helped me find a pair of speakers that eventually I traded in for something 3 times the cost. We are so lucky to have such a place in our area.
