The staff and owner are knowledgeable and passionate about what they sell. I spent over an hour discussing the advantages of similarly priced big screen Sony, LG and Samsung OLED models before choosing an LG. Jason, their installer knows TVs inside and out and is a perfectionist when it comes to installations. He actually used a carpenter's level to insure my TV was perfectly angled and positioned. He performed all of the basic set up and then some. Tell him your viewing preferences and he adjusts the set to those before he departs. I requested that my new LG G5 be set for accurate streaming and cinema and he obliged. It felt good doing business with a civilized locally owned store. We have purchased 4 TV's over the years and Good Vibes has been very polite and answered our questions. They also provided us with a Theater sound sound. Recently we dropped out Directv service, selecting to use WiFi for our viewing experience. We had questions and concerns so we stopped to talk to Mike who make suggestions. Great service and quick to respond. Bought a floor model TV 47" I think. They came out as scheduled, drilled holes, put in cable, hung TV on wall and cleaned up after themselves. Second trip made by Joe to fix the TV stand which he sold us that I couldn't get assembled correctly. Very good service. read more

We purchased five televisions from Good Vibes six years ago and have been very happy with them. At the same time purchased two sound bars and again we were very satisfied. Good Vibes came out and installed everything for us therefore we received excellent customer service. One of the sound bars is going out so we purchased a new one from them and Steve, the owner, came out personally and installed it for us just a few days ago. Again very happy with customer service. I would give GV no stars if I had the option. We went in Sat to look at a home theater system; speakers, receiver, etc. The salesman, Ryan, offered us a set of Definitive Technology speakers, (originally $800 ea) for $500 (for the pair that had been on their floor)! We thought we were getting an awesome deal! So we put together a package and paid for the items. They had to order the center channel speaker, so Ryan said he'd call us on Tues to verify that the order went thru and when we should expect everything to be delivered. See our first mistake was not taking the components once we paid for them and instead opting for delivery. We never received a call Tues. So Weds we call. We are told we have to pay $500 since there was a mistake in the amt that the speakers were sold to us. But the speakers are LEGALLY ours and we don't have to pay a cent more. This is drawn out for another day waiting for Steve (the owner) to call. Which he never does and it is upon me to actually contact him. In the end he still wants us to pay more money for their mistake. He "compromised" at $300 extra. We certainly could have taken this issue to a lawyer and to Small Claims court and prob would have won, or just got refunded, but either way it would have been drug out more than need be. Steve also gave us the option of a refund. So we weighed the options and even though we are in the legal right with items we legally own via the sales receipt and invoice, we still lost out since they were not in our physical possession. In the end, even though we wanted to fight this, we ended up just getting our money back. We will be purchasing our items elsewhere. And NEVER going back or recommending Good Vibes to anyone. They don't appreciate their customers. So Buyer beware. If you choose to be a customer at Good Vibes. I wouldn't take the risk though. read more

Excellent service & products! I would be amiss to not shout out to Steve at Good Vibes, Champaign. IL. He spent a long time listening to me on the phone about how my senior-aged parents who live far from me needed help during this Pandemic to get a new television & stand and get it delivered & set up for them. Steve helped my father in-store pick out exactly what he wanted with no pressured sales talk, but plenty of great suggestions. Then they promptly SAME DAY delivered & set it up using all Covid precautions necessary. Most importantly, he treated my parents with respect & dignity throughout the buying and delivery process.
