There is also a good shuttle service but we did wait a little long. Some stands are too expensive, especially the food stands. Prices should be more affordable. Also, I couldn't find a stand with the official event merch this year, maybe I just missed it. Entered the salsa contest and was turned away due to my salsa being two degrees too warm. Was told I could come back if it was cool enough but I had to go back to work. Paid $10 to enter. I understand good safety. I get that they could only accept salsa at 45degrees or colder. But to only have one person with one thermometer checking the temp for all the food, both hot and cold, seemed unprepared. There should be two check in stations- one for the chili and another for the salsa. Separate thermometers for both good types. Also- was there no refrigeration for the salsa entrees? They provided hot plates for the chili but nothing to accommodate salsa they did accept? That means the salsa they are all testing and tasting will sit out and gradually get warmer regardless. Therefor, how would coming back once it's cooler even do anything? Make it make sense. After standing in line for an hour and a half, regardless of how iced my cooler was that held my salsa, it stands to reason anything will lose cool when out of refrigeration for that long. Ergo, this who ordeal seems to need some reorganization and better planned execution of accepting entrees. I hope more people input constructive criticism for this part of the event or any other part that they attended, because I love Pueblo, my home, and I want anything that puts it on the map in positive ways to do well- and anything and everything can and should be improved. So after some research we found this drive in and are so happy we did. There are two screens showing two separate movies. Your ticket will actually get you tickets to two movies. We stayed for only one since it was already almost 11 after the first one was done. There are restrooms a plenty, and a snack shack that has quite the selection. We 100% will be back and can't wait :).

To the owner: I understand standards for cooking food but If your patron is asking food to be cooked a certain way it helps if the kitchen Manager tries to accommodate. When I heard that Pueblo was getting THE ONE AND ONLY North American da Vinci museum I knew I had…read moreto see it. The building sits right off the Pueblo Riverwalk. It isn't a huge museum, but more of an interactive playground. This is the only museum on the continent with a permanent display of machines designed by da Vinci in the 15th and 16th centuries and brought to life. And let me tell you, unless you are a da Vinci super fan I am guessing you (like me) had no idea how many things da Vinci invented, created and developed. While most of us think of the Mona Lisa (there is a replica here) or maybe the Last Supper paintings as difinitive da Vinci, he also was prolific engineer and creator. He created useable devices that automated boats, cinches, catapults, rock movers, early scuba gear - I mean you will not believe all these devices until you see them. And that is what is SO COOL about this place, they have taken his writings and drawings from his volumes of notes and created his inventions. It was truly amazing to see, but you can even touch and interact with many of them. They also have a STEM center here focusing on summer camps, classes and all things STEM that kiddos can join in on and create. Truly a beautiful museum and one that I think might excite more people than the run of mill museum displays. Wonderful. I will happily come back and bring others!
