We really enjoyed this theater. We went for scary Halloween movies and had a great time. The picture quality was good and the sound was great. Staff was nice and getting in and out was easy. My only complaint is one I hope management sees: the chili on the chili cheese fries is not chili. I'm not sure who made it but I don't think they've seen chili before. Pleaseeeeee fix the chili situation. It was so disappointing to get excited for chili cheese fries and then receive fries with salsa (kinda?) on top. Otherwise our experience was wonderful and we will be back!

Great old time drive in except the projection onto the screen is unbelievable bright and clear. Almost like watching a digital tv! You pick up the sound on an FM channel and use the speakers in your car which makes the sound great as well. For a low price you get two movies which are always new. The snack bar is good as well. You can phone in your order then just walk up, pay, and get your food without a long line or wait. The prices are very reasonable and the food is pretty good too. All in all it's a fun evening out and brings back childhood memories. I wish they were open longer into the season when it gets dark earlier. Blankets or just staying in the car with the heat on would be fine! Great little gym for a double feature!

Well in my opinion, this drive in needs to make a few improvements, because I left feeling disappointed in aspects that could be easily resolved. First, why do gates open almost TWO HOURS before it gets dark? It leaves everyone sitting there doing nothing just waiting/wasting time. Two, they do not advertise ANYWHERE (website or at the "theater") that they do not accept anything but cash (admission and concessions). That would be VERY helpful information to know... There are multiple lines but everyone just goes to the one right in front of the entrance and it backs traffic way up into the nearby main road. They should have someone directing people into lines or at least a sign saying there are 4 lines and you can go into any of them. The staff at the front kept repeating info back to me multiple times that was wrong. I said what movie and what screen I wanted, and they said the wrong one back to me twice. Gave me tickets for the wrong one. Told me to tune into the wrong station. Very frustrating. OH and their website, sign, and person at admission all said the station was 99.3 FM, but the menu they gave us for concessions said 99.5 FM (which ended up being the right station). The communication and misinformation here is awful and should seriously get fixed ASAP. My frustrations may keep me from returning.

First experience @ a drive in. Kids under 12 are free. Way better than cinemark where Mark Cuban thinks I need to buy a ticket for any kid over a year old. Bring in all the snacks you want. Less worried about my kid getting sick or being annoying.

Gorgeous view and kids are playing

The staff is pleasant, the seats are comfy, and they offer a good selection of treats, kid & adult beverages! And Thursdays is half price beer day. I'm still in awe that Canon City has such a fine cinema! And when you want to see the latest Scorsese masterpiece (KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON) on a REAL SCREEN and not have to drive to Colorado Springs - The Cañon is a great place for movie lovers to enjoy.

When he asked the only two teenage staff at the concession counter to speak to the manager one of the teenagers said she was the manager. My husband explained the problem and she got upset with him stating no one else has complained before! She refused to go back and check, all she said she could do was hit a reset button. He came back and sat down, we waited another 15 minutes and nothing changed. So we both went out to let her know nothing happened. She instantly had attitude and said she hadn't pushed the button yet and said we were inpatient! Her voice started shaking and she started to yell at my husband! She even told me that he was acting like her dad and she felt sorry that I had to go home with him. I tried several times to calm her down but the more I tried the worst she got! We finally got our money back and left. We waited another month and tried a different movie hoping she no longer worked there. This time we were told that they were only seating people in the private room because there was only 2 other people that were there to watch the movie. We were okay with that until we went in there. The room was small, very dirty and the tables and chairs were sticky! The popcorn was old and the liquid butter machine was pure oil!! We immediately stopped eating the popcorn and went to the concession stand to let them know about it. They didn't care, said that that happens a lot. It's really sad that whoever owns this movie theater doesn't care about it or the community. We are all about supporting our local businesses but we will not be giving this place our money. We are surprised it's still open. Now we drive to Pueblo to watch a movie. .

We found our theater with the help of one of the staff and given a run down on what to expect. Once we were in our seats one of the waitstaff came to our seats and greeted us and ask us if we needed anything. We took several minutes to review the menu and we were surprised to see that there were as many options on the menu for the location. I ordered the Carne Asada nachos and a soda. The food came out pretty quickly, and the movie had just started. Overall, the nachos were OK. The Carne Asada itself was in very small pieces that were pretty chewy and not as tender as you would expect for that type of meat/preparation. Enjoyed the movie and the experience overall would return, but would recommend some improvement with the Carne Asada.

It's a big bowl of goodness and you great one refill that you can eat there or take it home. It's always clean and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend!
