We are visiting from Texas and stumbled across this winery/ air b&b called brush hollow. The wine and food was amazing! Everyone there was very friendly and hospitable especially the owner James! He was so much fun to talk to and was very passionate about everything he did! Be careful though, we planned to stop for an hour and stayed for many. They also have a beautiful back yard area that is very photogenic. Thankyou again James for the great experience!

Very cute family run winery. We did a wine tasting on their spacious patio on a sunny summer day. We got to taste many of their wines, ciders and a few meads. The owner took great care of us (and made sure our little dog had water on a hot day). He provided some great education on the area, each wine and it's fermentation process and even let us try a few experimental brews. Service was fast and friendly and was a great stop on our way back to Denver! I would definitely stop by again if in the area.

Came here for my sister birthday over the past weekend and we were very pleased with the charcuterie board. Everything tasted amazing and we cant wait to plan another trip. The service there was very friendly and attentive. The only thing i knocked them down a star was one of the glasses of wine had a "strange" ordor. Other than that i definitely recommend stopping by.

This is definitely a hidden gem. We did a map search for local wineries and happened upon Brush Hollow Winery. They have excellent wine, sangria, cider and mead. The tasting is well worth it, and came with a little popcorn and bread/oil samples. The service was excellent, with knowledgeable explanations for each tasting. Cute, decorative tasting room, with a cozy patio and fireplace. I would definitely come back through when I'm in the area. Thank you Brush Hollow!

We came here after getting engaged to enjoy the wine and a delicious cheeseboard. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience - lovely place to celebrate a special moment. And love the family run vibes. Can't wait to return!

What a gem in the middle of "nowhere"! The charcuterie boards were delicious and beautiful, the wine tasting was fun and interesting, and the atmosphere was similar to all the California wineries I've visited- with a Colorado touch. It's always fun getting to know the owners, their history, and their future plans. I'll be back!

Beautiful grounds, with such great outdoor seating and things for kids to do as well. The owner was outside when we seated ourselves, and he shared his story and told us a bit about the winery. The process, grapes and how they run it. Great guy and very dedicated! It's a lot to do in retirement but they seem to be enjoying it. His wife came out to ask us about tastings , which they do for free! All 12 on the list. The reds were better, I'm just not a white drinker. The whites I was told were sweeter. Pretty good pours too! Great to try so many. The Syrah was my favorite. The price of the bottle was only $21. I got a glass as she gave me so many tastings. We bought a bottle too. They also give you little snack bags which was a nice gesture, little crackers. Inside they had some little gifts things, cute stuff. Loved how clean it was and they were so organized and quick , better service than a lot of bigger wineries I've been to .Sometimes the smaller the better!!

You can go in and buy their wine or have tastings. Plus, they generally have a food truck there or an option to buy some charcuterie. The atmosphere is wonderful. Quiet & beautiful. A couple tables inside (they have to social distance) and a few outside. We did a tasting and went home with the house red and a white. There are definitely some wines that are very different. The wines were not all my taste, but I loved the overall experience. A great one to try if you are in town. Added note: this is the only place to buy their wines, so if you like them, get them when you go!

The Best Date Night and Scenic Train Ride in Colorado--Absolutely Worth Every Penny!…read more If you're visiting Colorado, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad should be at the top of your bucket list. It is, without question, one of the most spectacular ways to experience the Royal Gorge. The towering canyon walls, rushing river below, and breathtaking scenery make you feel completely immersed in one of North America's most incredible natural wonders. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was friendly, professional, and passionate about making our experience memorable. We booked the Vista Dome with dinner, and it exceeded every expectation. The food was delicious, the cocktails were excellent, and the service was attentive without ever feeling rushed. Once dinner was over, we explored the open-air cars, and that alone was worth the trip! We spotted deer along the riverbank, a majestic bald eagle soaring overhead, and even a beaver swimming below. Being outside while the train winds through the gorge is something you simply can't capture in photos--you have to experience it for yourself. I've read reviews mentioning the price, but after experiencing it firsthand, I couldn't disagree more. For a luxury train ride, exceptional service, a wonderful dinner, handcrafted drinks, and access to scenery you can't experience any other way, it is an outstanding value. This is so much more than a train ride--it's an unforgettable adventure and one of the best date nights we've ever had. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a romantic evening, or simply looking for a truly unique Colorado experience, I can't recommend the Royal Gorge Route Railroad highly enough. We left already talking about our next trip back!

I was disappointed that the gift shop didn't carry 3XL shirts or sweatshirts. Large women and men love souvenirs too, and we're happy to spend money when the options fit! The food was just okay. I ordered the beef nachos -- the portion was huge and definitely shareable -- but they lacked flavor, and I only ate a few bites. Steve said his burger was fine but nothing to write home about. The highlight of our trip was the open‑air car, made even better by our host, Brett. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the canyon, pointed out landmarks, helped us spot bighorn sheep and deer, and took photos for anyone who asked -- always making sure the background was perfect. Thanks to him, we have beautiful memories captured from our ride. Be sure to tip Brett -- he absolutely deserves it!
