I wasn't going to leave a review because I understand that new stylist aren't experienced. As I was paying, the owner came up and asked how I liked my hair. I told her it wasn't what I showed her I wanted, and the new girl. I expressed that it's ok I understand that she just started and said I was heading back home and will have my stylist fix it. She Waved her hand spun around, and said, "well, go there". Ok first of all, wow, what a "class act". I was "warned" from School and locals that she wasn't a pleasant person and acted entitled. And that is what she did and proved everyone to be true. Second, as an adult woman, I should be able to express my feeling about the service I just received. I didn't say I wasn't paying, I tipped appropriately and was scheduling to go back for another service. So for her to "dismiss" a paying customer and local. Third, FYI ... if someone goes to college and you hire them and then make them sign that bogus contract that tells them they can't work in that field for a year, nope, NO judge is going to hold them to that. That's their livelihood and why as a business owner and woman ever want to hold another woman back? If it doesn't work out with you, let them go. Your ego is going to cause karma to come back hard. Birdie flying around town about you hurting the woman power by trying to control. Let them grow and stop holding them back. I hope they challenge you in court over that and you will see. They may not be able to work in same county but you and your contract won't stop them. So review is all because an owner couldn't have said, I am sorry. Period. And if she is like that to a paying customer she will bite all the hands that feed her. Ps. I had Deanna at Mane Focus in St.clairsville fix it. Thank goodness for skill and grace. It's difficult to get in here right away. If you are patient and can wait a while, make an appointment. Then after your appointment, be sure to book an appointment for next time. Prices are salon standard. I usually get my hair dyed/toned, cut, styled, and get my brows waxed for about $110 total. I really like Kate. She always does a fantastic job on my hair. Her personality is outstanding. I recommend her. read more

Started off good and ended in a mess. Went for a pedicure today and decided to schedule hair cuts for my daughters because,as we started off- things were going very well. They were able to accommodate which was great. Before we scheduled the haircuts we asked about the price - we were quoted by AJ 16.99 after having lengthy discussions about our kids (both ladies asked and were told that my girls were 7 and 10) We asked about a moisturizing treatment - we were not given a price even though we asked. They shampooed both my daughters without letting us know that it was additional or asking if it was okay. My pedicure for whatever reason wouldn't dry. It wasn't the neatest or nicest pedicure I have ever received. I do credit AJ for trying to fix it by cleaning up polish and applying some drying spray. Nevertheless, they sent me off wearing flip flops in winter and the polish is lumpy and lines are not clean. I told them I could fix the big toe that was lumpy and smudged at home instead of waiting. I was told the used bottle of polish was $4 and then after checking with a manager it was $8 . We passed on that. When we went to check out they told us the 16.99 haircut was $32 because they charge kids 10+ as adults and then they up-charged for the shampoo they never had approval for. If a base cut is 16.99 for a seven year old they should have asked if I wanted a shampoo for $21 total. In the end two pedicures and two kids hair cuts ended up costing $150+ after tip. Both Lacey and AJ were pleasant but we won't be coming back because management could have done better than a pair of flip flops to fix the mistakes made. In the end, my kids looked great and my feet look, meh. Not keen on the bait and switch with pricing . read more
