I came to yelp and was looking through different shops with reviews and then the websites to see the different juice lines they carried. I was intrigued by the fact that they carried most, if not complete lines of high quality premium juice that I have only heard and read reviews about. Having decided to try 1st Wave, my boyfriend and I drove down to Pompano after I had spoken with the Manager Mike on the phone and he was super awesome. He answered all my questions and I was looking for specific juices and he took the time to look to see that he did have the particular flavors I was looking for, instead of just telling me to come down to the shop and see if they had what I was looking for. Walking in, I was impressed by the layout and it was a very comfortable, open setting. There was an L-shaped couch with a TV and a PS4 to offer patrons a relaxing location to vape and be social. I was also impressed that it wasn't super foggy either. I understand that vape shops can be very foggy, but it can be kind of a turnoff. I only like one foggy locale and that is my personal space in my own home. We were greeted by a young guy (I am totally blanking on his name at the present moment) but he was super polite and very friendly. He introduced himself extending his hand to both myself and my boyfriend. After the introductions, he began pulling juices off the shelf and a dripper for us to use. He showed no annoyance with the amount of juices we asked to try. We tried pretty much every juice it seemed before coming to our decision. We were the only ones in the shop at first, but after about 10 minutes people began coming in. For someone who was working there on a Thursday afternoon all by himself, he handled himself with grace and greeted every person there and showed 110% attention to each customer. If he was getting flustered at all, it didn't show and that was really awesome. I understand being the only employee with a sudden wave of customers and having to take care of every one and show them the same kind of attention, so kudos to him. After spending a total of about thirty minutes there, we ended up purchasing Suicide Bunny "The O.B.", Cuttwood "Unicorn Milk", Moo E-Liquids "Strawberry Milk" and Mango Boba. They had all the nicotine levels we were looking for except for the Cuttwood but I was impressed to find that they can nic the bottles if they do not have the exact level we are looking for. While checking out, I was able to also download the App, which sends messages daily with different juice sales going on and the sales are awesome! Example from today (4 May 2016) Charlie's Chalkiest $12.99/30mL bottles, which is a really nice deal. They also have different loyalty levels and even offer a weekly raffle which is really awesome too. One other thing that I am loving about this shop is that there are different locations (3 in total) so if one shop doesn't have it, you can hold it at another store. I really have found amazing customer service at both Pompano and Ft. Lauderdale (haven't been to Deerfield yet) and the hours for the Pompano location is super helpful as well because they open at 9am and stay open to 9 (10 on Fridays and Saturdays) so you can always get whatever supplies you need, whether it's an emergency or just perusing for new juice. This is definitely my new "home" shop and I honestly couldn't be happier!!! Keep up the great work you guys!!

I started buying vapes from here when I moved to Boca a few months ago. My last two Geek Bars did…read morenot seem authentic. The first one I noticed the button on the bottom was a different color. I thought, okay maybe it's a newer (or older) version. Then I noticed the numbers on the screen were so skewed. The vape would stop working at around 12% battery - you wouldn't be able to pull. And it only lasted me four days..... When I went in to show the workers (who were great but had no authority to help since they weren't the owner/manager) -- I showed them the differences which they clearly could notice. But here's the kicker: we scanned the QR for an unopened box and it came back as authentic. When I opened it, again the numbers were wide, bottom button different. And again, it only lasted me several days. In the first picture you can tell the indents on the bottom differ. In the second picture the vape on the left is the problem vape. I just don't know what the issue is and how it's coming up as a verified vape because something is majorly off.

Immediately after leaving the store, I opened the product and observed that the safety seal had already been broken. Upon inspecting the contents, I discovered that the bottle did not contain the advertised supplement. Instead, it contained m&ms. I immediately returned to the store and informed an employee of the issue. To document the situation, I took photographs inside the store while the employee was holding the bottle. The employee then checked another bottle of the same product from store inventory and observed what appeared to be the same issue. The employee advised me that only the manager could authorize a refund and instructed me to return the following day. The next day, I returned to the store and spoke with the manager. I explained that I had purchased a product with a broken safety seal and contents that were not the advertised supplement. The manager refused to provide a refund or otherwise resolve the issue. When I expressed concern that the situation was serious and asked whether anything would be done about it, the manager laughed. I have contacted corporate to see if they'll do anything. I made the purchase with no issues and left the store. I opened it the following day Monday 4/13. I removed the papers and took a draw, nothing... Tried again, nothing... I went to the store and asked for a replacement due to mine being defective. The employee denied me and I asked to reach out to a manager, 40 minutes later after being told multiple times, I came back on Tuesday 4/14. They said the manager was not in and they would be back the following morning 4/15, I went to the store, asked for the manager and she explains that I left the store and it can't be exchanged. You got the bad end of the stick, she says... This is really disappointing as I am now the one who lost money, the store could have went to the Manufacturer, made an exchange, took care of the customer but that is not what they do, they offer a discount off of a new product (so they still make more money) and say, it's just policy. I understand policy, I understand people scamming people out of goods or services but when you can look into a customers account due to them inputting the phone number in their system, they should be able to see and take care of a returning customer. My only comment is not to go to this smoke shop, they don't care nor want to care.
