I think something they can do to minimize this is to have wait times for when your party can arrive or be more strict about how many people they let in at once. Things that are unique about this spot is the ambiance and the iron branch-like artwork on the walls and throughout the bar. It's a cool atmosphere when the lights are dimmed as they have fun colored up-lighting to set the mood. There's a little outdoor bar called "the shanty" and it is the best spot to be if you visit in the summer. The DJ is usually always spot on for the crowd; usually a mix of modern EDM and early 2000's hip hop throwbacks. The dance floor is small but was packed. There is a semi-private table area by the bar that you can reserve for a group party. If you ever are planning to come here for a birthday or any type of celebration I'd recommend you reserve this table/booth area so your group has a place to sit or at least stand. You also get a server assigned to your table! Like I mentioned, on a busy Friday or Saturday night, this place is packed shoulder to shoulder like a college bar. If that's the scene you're looking for, you're in the right spot! They should staff at least 6 bar tenders for the influx of people but they only have two or three tops. You can tell they are hardworking bartenders but it is impossible to serve that many people. The women's bathroom was rough. It's small and there's hardly any room to wait inside or outside the bathroom. Because the place is so crowded, I got bumped and spilled on multiple times just standing outside the bathroom door. The garbage was overflowing and something from the ceiling was dripping and of course landing on me. Maybe it was a rough night for them to keep up overall but this experience wasn't what I had in mind to help a dear friend celebrate her birthday.

They are not your traditional cocktails you find everywhere and I love an original place with unique ideas. Make a reservation, be on time, order a dish and a few drinks and enjoy yourself.

He informed me he would charge me if I didn't show with 20 people, which I understood because after all, he could have reserved those tables for other parties and he already had a large party booked for the bar. I started to get nervous about a week before after reading many negative reviews about the place, including reviews stating people were discriminated against, forced to leave, had horrible service from their waitress, etc. I couldn't be happier with the way the night turned out and the way in which we were treated. When we arrived, there was a coat check available and the lobby was beautiful! I was very impressed with the ambience and decor. Our group included many people from diverse backgrounds including black, white, Asian, etc. I didn't feel discriminated against at all and our waitress, although extremely busy, was always checking on us and took care of our needs. She recommended some amazing drinks and despite what other reviews stated, was happy to keep separate tabs for people in our group. One of the men working that night bought my husband a drink for his birthday and at one point the DJ announced everyone's birthdays and the staff brought out a large piece of cake for each of the people there who were celebrating their birthday. I expected an older crowd since I read that VLounge attracted older people but that's what we were looking for since we are not as young as we used to be and would stick out like a sore thumb at any club, yet still wanted a sort of club experience. The crowd was a bit older than I even expected but everyone was nice and there to have a good time. We didn't experience anyone being rude and the dance floor was poppin'! I was pleasantly surprised! I have nothing but good things to say. The drinks were priced reasonably with a good amount of alcohol in them. The calamari was absolutely amazing! The ranch dressing, which one reviewer stated was disgusting, was one of the best I've had. I was happy they actually had ranch dressing because most Italian places do not have ranch. You can tell it's homemade, too and it was the perfect dipping sauce for their calamari. The calamari came out nice and hot and crispy and there were no ro rubbery pieces or weird looking pieces (like usual) that nobody wants to eat and are just left on the plate as waste. The place was PACKED, so of course our server was not able to keep up with the empty glasses and plates on our table but that did not impact our night in any way. I read one negative review stating that the empties were not removed from the table fast enough. I think sometimes people just look for something to complain about because it was completely understandable, considering the amount of people our waitress was serving and how hard it was to move around in the room. The bathrooms were clean but at one point in the night, there was a girl in the stall next to mine throwing up and it was all over the floor, including splashing all the way over into my stall and onto my shoes. It was pretty disgusting but when I exited the stall, I was happy to see staff in the restroom trying to take care of the situation. I believe many of the negative reviews I previously read were unfortunately from people who wanted to come for the free entertainment and were too cheap to spend any money on drinks or food or were not dressed appropriately. Furthermore, any reviewer claiming discrimination...it is my opinion that the reviewer must have been rude or had to have done something to warrant a negative response from the employee. I do not feel any if the employees were discrimanatory. Either that or it was an isolated situation and thankfully, we didn't have that experience! I do wish the staff had nametags so I could have known my server's name or I could have met Frank, considering I was speaking to him on and off the few weeks prior to our event. It also would've been nice to know the gentleman's name who was working the room when we were there and interacting with our group, since he was extremely cordial and professional. All of our guests told us what a fun time they had and what a nice place VLounge was. We don't get out much these days due to our children being young but I do hope we get a chance to go back! I urge you to give VLounge a chance and check it out for yourself! You won't be disappointed!

Also, just from the looks out the banquet hall seems large enough to which is also connected which is convenient if you wanted to host like a wedding.

This place is a great place to spend some friday/saturday nights, or even weekdays when you want to relax and do some homework! They have some private areas which is awesome. The leather couches make the place look really classy. Some of the servers talk to us and help us feel comfortable. Some are also great at helping us choose flavors. I had a server who suggested this one flavor, Ace of Spades, which she said tastes like those "Andes chocolates (mint chocolates) from olive garden" and she was completely on point and that was probably the best flavor I have ever had in my life!! Now, every time I go there, I smoke that flavor. The flavors are great and so is the service. The hookahs are spotless clean and there seems to be no rust on them!! and the hoses never have left-over ash in them which makes the smoking experience 100x better. The coals last a good amount of time too. And it's not like we have to pay for more coals, the servers take care of that for you and come every 10-20 minutes to switch the coals! It's awesome service because not once do I have to get up out of my seat. So I don't know why some people are complaining below about how "fast" the coals run out... It's a friendly, traditional, and classy environment and I would definitely recommend Exhale if you want the best lounge experience of Naperville/Aurora. read more

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!!! I've recently moved here from VA and have to say out of all the hookah bars I've ever gone too this is by far my favorite place. I've came here several times now and absolutely love it. There's an older gentlemen who greets you from the front door (I think it's the owners dad) lol but he's super sweet. The waiters and waitresses are on point every single time (especially CARL) always checking in on me and making sure my hookah isn't burnt out. Now, let's talk about how AMAZING THE HOOKAH IS! They have so many flavors to choose from which is great. The hookah itself TASTE AMAZING !!! And does not burn out so quickly. Great device, great tea, great hookah! Me and my friends live right down the street from Exhale and are always having people over for various reasons. We started going there to purchase tobacco and coals, and I must say I will never go anywhere else. We now stop in probably about 3-4 times a week and the customer service alone is worth returning...we actually return so often that the owner and the girls there recognize us and ask where we've been! It's great to see a place where the owner takes pride in his product and is just as willing to help a customer as the staff members are. We have yet been able to sit in Exhale, but I can promise that it will be in the not too distant future! read more

I have been going to place with my friend for a long time until this MAN who appears to be the owner of the place made it very obvious that he did not want us there. He is rude and has this condescending look on his face but we really liked servers so as long as he wasn't talking to us, we were fine with this place. I don't know how he is discriminating people, but based on the negative reviews that I am seeing on this place, which are 99% due to that MAN, we are clearly not the only one who felt that way. I do not want to spend another dime on this place as long as he's still the owner. read more

We got addicted to this place. It's a huge space. All divided into partitions, which gives you plenty of privacy. The owner Simon is quiet a gentleman. He's cool, very polite and funny. He really makes you feel comfortable and at home. Prices are very reasonable, drinks are good, latte's are perfect, and their hookah is great, New equipment. I believe, they have the most tobacco favors that I've seen in the Chicago land area. Music and ambiance is great. This is a great place for a hangout, or to chill out after a long day.. Worst customer service, got seated and waited 20 mins. before I had to ask someone to serve us then waited another 10 mins. before are group got up a just walked out.
