We hired Orion because they had good reviews and the phone woman was very helpful. BUT...they farmed us out to Cloud's Moving out of Utah. Our stuff was supposed to be stored for 2 months, and it was, but when we were ready for delivery the driver picked up 1000 lbs in Texas and put the stuff in with our load that, we told, completely filled a 55 ft moving van. The driver only hired two assistants to help unload and by 5pm they just shoved most of our stuff into the garage! Fragile antique cabinets had the glass shattered, one box spring to a guest bed is completely missing, the feet were completely knocked off an antique Asian cabinet, pictures had the glass broken, and box containing a dozen sets of double sheets packed around my iron is missing! Orion didn't help us when we called about damage, and Clouds sent us a form stating we had only 10 days from delivery to make a claim and it took us longer than that to get our stuff moved from the garage into a 4000 sq ft house! My experience with this company Clouds Moving was wonderful I just moved last week and was estimated more than the move actually cost which was a great surprise!! The movers were very kind, patient, honest, careful and thoughtful of my home and family I cut my finger during the move and had no band aids the mover went to his truck got a band aid opened it and put it on my finger. That was just over and beyond moving my home. Not one single item was damaged and everything was warped with blankets as well as plastic!! I hired orion or verizon it is one of the same but they contracted out to these clowns at Clouds Moving.This company moved me across country and from the beginning was a disaster they are rude and not very professional they broke and lost items and when contacted about the lost items would not even return the call they text me and told me to keep looking its there and it wasnt. I spent almost 6k and to be treated the way we were is unacceptable. I would not hire this company to move me next door much less across country if I were you. And if these are the type companies that Orion/Verizon Van Lines is going to choose to do buisness with you may want to find another moving company i checked the reviews on Orion/Verizon and they were good but i didnt know I was going to be contracted out and now i have checked the reviews on the contracted company there is alot of bad ones make sure when you hire a company that they are the ones moving you and they are not selling it off my experience was awful I hope yours isnt read more
