Now this tour may not be for everyone, as the title of the tour alludes to.. but if you don't mind the random swear word and aren't easily offended, you'll be like me... cracking up for 3 hours straight. And there was one thing I noticed about Anthony that he doesn't advertise, and may try to track me down for saying on here.... But beneath the gruff exterior was the sweetest guy that seemed genuinely interested in sharing his culture, stories, and amazing food with everyone! We started off at a pizza joint where we got a slice of pizza and an arancini ball. I expected the pizza to be good... and it was fantastic. But I am not a huge fan of arancini and this one had peas in it... also something I am not a huge fan.... But hey, I was on a food tour so I was going to try everything! Thank goodness I did, because this arancini was the stuff of dreams. How in the world could something be THAT much better than what high end Italian restaurants advertise? The last time I had an arancini ball was at a restaurant in Hawaii that won "best Italian food in Hawaii".... And it was only so-so. This arancini ball would make me fly 5,000 just to eat it again! Next up was a deli sub, a coffee shop, ravioli, a pastry shop and lastly an affogato (or gelato if you didn't want coffee that late in the day). Based on the food I received, before factoring in all the stories that Anthony shared, I feel the tour was really underpriced. I wish I hadn't done this the tour on my last day, I would have gone back for another round of everything we tried, as well as everything that was recommended. There were also other services coming by - the trolleys that provided the same service. Tons of them went by. My mistake? Signing up with these thieves for their services. No one came for over a half hour. i called. They sent a van with no tour info and brought us back to another spot without the double decker buses running. I asked for a refund. No. I was told it was my mistake for not realizing they weren't picking up there. It was my mistake waiting for a bus that didn't come. I have used these services in Europe and they were great. These guys are literally thieves. Do NOT use them. Sign up for and use the trolleys. They were everywhere!

This house is known to be the skinniest and more narrow house in Boston, being at about 10 feet wide (and a little shorter inside). This house is known as a spite house, which basically is a home built by an angry neighbor, ex lover, etc to well... be spiteful. There are few more in Massachusetts and not all of them are skinny (or other spite houses for that matter. My husband really loves visiting spite houses whenever we travel and have been to so many on the east coast). Just as other fellow Yelp members had mentioned, there are 2 different stories regarding this home. One story is that a man came back home after serving during the Civil War and found out that his brother had taken most of the property that was left for the both of them. With the small remaining part of the property, he decided to build a tiny home to block the view and sunlight from his brother (out of spite). Another story is that a neighbor decided to build their home to block off the air and light from the hostile neighbor next door (yep you guessed it, out of spite). Although if you do a little research, there are articles that point out that the first story about the two brothers may not be true. But who knows, either way, both stories could be possible.
