Someone showed up a couple of weeks later to remove the drywall and replace it. After 2 months of trying to get someone back to work on the basement again I finally got a date from Ben then to no surprise no one showed up. Someone showed up later that week to texture the drywall that was replaced, paint, and put new trim up. However, texture was not done, they just painted the mudded drywall and told me he couldn't match it. I asked about doing chair rail and Ben told the subcontractor no. I acknowledged that the chair rail was not part of the insurance claim and was willing to pay extra but was still told no, they wouldn't do it. I was then told that they put new trim up however they just put the water damaged trim they took off back up. I was lied to by the subcontractor and my project manager then was told there was a miscommunication. I was very clear that I wanted all the trim replaced and was told to my face by the subcontractor it was new and it was definitely not. After all this I made the decision to not have them finish any work that was left to be done. I asked for a final invoice which included installing NEW trim, painting a room that I painted, etc. In the end there was over $1,500 of charges they did not do. These are the most unprofessional, unreliable, "business" people I have ever experienced. Make sure to do ALL your research before hiring a contractor!

The first time I called them, Stan showed up at 07:50 a.m. for an appointment at 08:00 on a Saturday - but he hung out in his truck and waited until eight on the nose to knock on the door. I had a clog in my sink drain that was too far down for my snake to reach. He measured from the sink and the main, cut out a bit of pipe, cleaned it out, and then installed a T joint with a plug I could take out if I needed. Now, there's no part of the pipe I can't reach with the snake. That was the first of many great interactions. At this point, I tell them what the problem is, and they come fix whatever it is, and I pay them. I trust them so much that I don't need to talk to them before they fix something.

One of the reasons I choose Kickback Cleaning was the owner assured me that he had plenty of staff in my area to handle my cleanings/if my schedule needed changing. This turned out not to be the case. Of the 3 months Kickback cleaned my house, they showed up on the scheduled day and at the scheduled time maybe twice. Every other cleaning required rescheduling. Sometimes in advance, but the last two times, no one showed. And once when a cleaner canceled, I did not receive a call the day of the cleaning, but rather an email from the owner. Apparently, I was expected to check my email, even though it was time for someone to arrive, and I was looking out my door. Constantly rescheduling was very stressful for us because we have two big dogs that we need to juggle during the cleaning; and, sometimes, we would take them to daycare, which costs us money. As for Brianne, she is very personable; and I liked her. I felt guilty for being unable to tip her. So a few times, I gave her treats for her dogs and once, the last time she showed, a fairly expensive dog toy. At one point, she said I was one of her "favorite" customers. Then the next cleaning, as per usual, they asked to reschedule because the person who was supposed to come canceled "at the last minute." I received a voice mail about this shortly before the scheduled cleaning. Over the next two days, I sent at least two emails to both the owner and Brianne and left at least 3 voice mails - 2 for Brianne and at least 1 for the owner. I needed to reschedule quickly because I had limited time before the next cleaning. I have received NO response whatsoever from either of them. I have to admit that I did not expect the cold shoulder. I may not be the easiest customer to work with (even if Brianne reassured me this was not the case and actually stated I was very "laid back"), but I certainly did not deserve silence. All in all, Kickback Cleaning was not very easy to work with; and if this is how Brianne treats her "favorite" customers, I shudder to think how the regular customers are treated.

This crew damaged the gutters and facia beyond repair....holes, dents, gutters tore away from roof. Bad. Unprotected stairs caked in ice...very hazardous. We kept trying to work with them and Nothing was getting addressed so we posted a yelp complaint THEN the owner, Tom Flynn, called us in a panic saying he just got back from his winter home in Florida and a bad yelp post "will kill me". He sent his brother, Rob, who agreed that the gutters and facia were abnormally beat. His office manager. Libby, also came to see the damage and agreed it was excessive. She made a point of saying the two employees responsible for the damage have been fired. Thoroughly saying they did the damage and Action Pros will take care of me if I pull the negative Yelp post. Tom Flynn offered to replace the gutters and not the facia. We asked if he could guarantee the facia will look better than it does now. Mr. Flynn got mad and said he would no longer fix anything for us. He said we would never be happy and we were not worth the expense. Wow. This is beyond "not right". I guess we are headed for small claims court. Too bad. I have 35 years in with a reputable local company, so I do have a fair sense of what is right or wrong...Action Pros are wrong on this.
