Terrific food with very friendly & helpful staff. Owners were very engaged and we enjoyed chatting with John. We had the burger, shrimp & grits, and Korean chicken sandwich. Kale hushpuppies & banana pudding were both wonderful bookends to this great meal. Their garden to grow & use produce is a really nice feature, as is their relationship with several local farms. I heard great things about this restaurant but I was disappointed. I ordered the Ribeye medium rare. It came medium well. Not sure of the quality because it was on the tough side And had almost no marbling. It came with tasty mashed potatoes and would have been great if they were hotter. Charred broccoli was okay. I ordered the apple cake for dessert and was very disappointed. It was overcooked with edges having burnt taste. The meal was $31 and cake $9. Definitely not worth the money. We didn't know about Clover Harvest! Fantastic little eatery that offers farm-to-table- we had the charcuterie board with salami, olives, and a delicious port-flavored cheese with fresh bread, roast chicken, Korean bulgogi chicken sandwich with broccolini and the carrot cake. It was all delicious! If you're looking for a special spot with delicious food that is not over-cooked, over-smothered, over-seasoned or salted (it was plenty seasoned and delicious, trust) then try this place. Kelly was a great server- service was perfect without checking in too much or too little with good and honest menu recommendations. The atmosphere feels like farmhouse meets antique tables and seating with some neat details that were clearly thought out to give a nice and homey feel while still feeling like a night out. My husband and I had dinner there with 2 other couples on Friday night. The restaurant is small with a rustic charm indoors and pleasant covered outdoor and garden seating areas. The service was friendly from our greeting upon arrival and throughout the meal. The staff appeared to be genuinely appreciative of our patronage. But then there was the food. It exceeded all expectations. From the small charcuterie board as a table appetizer to each individual dinner, everyone exclaimed how delicious everything was. It's important to note we each had a different main course. There's not a large selection, but, if what we each had is any indication of the general quality of their dishes, a larger selection isn't necessary. New place in clover was fantastic. Great food friendly staff. The salmon and Mac and cheese was delicious. The cook a younger black gentleman asked how everything was he was very friendly and look like he enjoyed being there which now day is refreshing to see some one who enjoys the work. A solid diamond in the rough! Tastefully appointed to convey the concept of "a comfy, not stuffy, local spot." We find that 5 stars on Yelp are overused so when we say a 4, the value and quality are there. Wonderful fresh presentation of brussels w bacon that we would have loved a splash of balsamic reduction. The pork chop was very good in size, scale, and depth. A tad done for me but, that's just personal preference....still very good. The kale salad was unique and extremely fresh. For us, a dash of finishing salt would have been the contrast to the oil. Yet, these are just our tastes. It was a fine meal. The only true critiques are the menus since they ate paper need to be replaced for each table...ours had sticky fingerprints on them. We get the motif but would prefer a true wine glass, or at least a breathable place glass for the wine. In any event, this is a lovely local restaurant and business that is a unique and needed addition to the area and well worth the support! read more

A wonderful addition to Clover! Had dinner the other evening (opened exactly one week) at this new farm-to-table restaurant. You walk into a welcoming place that feels fresh and warm; a bar with approximately a dozen seats and 6-8 tables inside. Outside on a covered but open porch are more tables along with a smaller bar THEN a few steps down is a terrace area with four more tables! The owners, Allison and John are very nice and made sure to visit our table as did the chef. Our waitress was friendly but unfortunately not familiar with the menu. We asked about the Kale Hush Puppies and were told they were served on a plate of kale. In fact, and not surprisingly, chopped kale was one of the ingredients. We then asked about the Mac 'n Cheese, and she said it was popular but hadn't tasted it; we enjoyed it but it was more on the dry side, not terribly creamy but the assortment of cheeses used were yummy. Good sized portions but the plating felt a bit 'cramped'. The food was quite tasty although my husband found the salmon to be a bit salty but it was served with mashed potatoes and an abundance of perfectly grilled and seasoned vegetables. My shrimp and grits were delicious but difficult to eat only because they were overflowing in the bowl and it was difficult to cut off the shrimp tails (and where do I put them?); small bread plates would have been good to have on the table for both of us. One appetizer, two entrees and two glasses of wine totaled $75 (plus tip). Reasonable for such a nice meal. It's to be expected for any new business opened only for a week to have a few kinks to iron out so please don't think this will deter us from returning.
