The college overall offers good resources, but my experience in the Mechatronics program did not match the quality of other departments. Instruction felt unstructured and often left students without the support needed to complete assignments. I hope the program receives attention and improvement. read more

i decided to stay here honestly due to just being habit. im back going to school here. although my previous situations sucked at the school it went ok- the student mosaic and the other school events are good , front desk and staff are all wonderful just that one experience for two years really let me down but otherwise the other times were really wonderful and the staff are generally very supportive. advisors here are great at least Kevin was amazing in my experience and teachers try to help you although some are very questionable at times read more

I was so excited to start the Massage Studies program with Clover Park Technical College. I knew I had basically 1 school year to knock this out in terms of what grants would cover. I was on the ball at everyturn and asking all the questions I knew to ask. I did appointments with admissions, got with the financial aide department. Come to find out nearly 6 months into the year, that the next program start date won't be until Winter 2026. I started this process December 2024. I was sent wrong forms to fill out, told there was nothing further I needed to do, when I would later find out there was. I was signed up for classes for this summer quarter that I now know don't even exist. To say it was infuriateting is a drastic understatement. I will never get involved with this school again even if i have the money to pay out of pocket. Grossly mis-managed at every level and screwed me out of the one year I would be able to utilize financial aide grants. read more

I would never make a review about a place but this has to be something I do. I do not like this college whatsoever, the environment, the professors, everything about it is so bad. The professors do not care if you're lying in the hospital on end stakes, they still expect you to do your work even with a doctors note or any sort of accommodations. And they hold that against you. The advisors do not care about you, they only check up on you if you're failing. I don't recommend going here there is so many other colleges that are better than this place. read more

I tried joining the esthetics program a year ago but had to find another school because they wouldn't let me in the program. I was the 2nd person in the waitlist and still didn't get in. The ladies working for the financial aid are no help and just kept telling me to come back another day. I payed for my classes because they are no help when it comes to FAFSA. The financial aid staff's assistance process could be improved to better meet the needs of students. There seems to be a need for more training, staffing, and better management. Additionally, the response time could be expedited to ensure that students receive the help they need promptly. This would greatly benefit students who rely on financial aid to afford necessities such as books and transportation. The Graphic Technology program was amazing thanks to the amazing instructors, but I would recommend something other than Clover Park Tech college to anyone who depends on aid for basic expenses. read more

The financial aid and staff are absolutely no help at all. I tried to apply for financial aid from the government(I get free college because of foster care) and it's been a year and a half so far and I get absolutely no updates on anything. I get told I need to talk to a certain person for my situation. Call? Nope they don't even answer. Their aviation instructors seem nice but this college is too much of a hassle and I will be going elsewhere. read more

Master of Esthetics program is not recommended for any person looking to become licensed and have a successful career in esthetics. The instructors are NOT there because they have a passion for teaching students, supporting students and their success in the program. Instructors demonstrate that they do not want to be there and display this for students. The spa is outdated and limited, basis the curriculum taught. With that said, it IS worth taking ONLY the first quarter class, Ms. Mo is an exceptional instructor and human being. read more

Machinist program was lacking due to poor organization and less than competent instructors. Lost two Stars for that experience. Gained a Star back when I took a quarter of HVAC. The instructions were relevant and instructors competent. In the second quarter of welding program and do far so good. read more

I love my school as I know that I am focus on my studies and have a mind set with my inner guide telling me that I will graduate with a geed grade that motivates me to continue my education and have good grades to be able to graduate and achieve my goal of getting my Accounting degree, I promise myself that nothing will sabotage me from being successful. It's all about me myself, see I have a dream but in order for me to accomplish or fulfill my dream I gave to be a creator. Step forward not backward forward and take that step with everything you have, yeah there will be obstacles along the way, which we all have but be aware of all those stumbles and falls pick yourself up and step again. It's not the school, we don't need to blame the school or the instructor of your downfall, blame yourself for failure and the poor choices you make, talk to someone and make friends create learning groups share your thoughts and don't be an independent or codependent be an interdependent. read more

RANIER ROOM IS AMAZING GOURMET FOOD! Love my teachers, the cafe is good, the library is helpful but the financial aid... oh man... it needs an overhaul! The medical aesthetics (my) class been ignored, yelled at and dismissed by these ladies until one blonde petite woman finally helped me. She said "i'll personally put your paperwork on my supervisors desk" and guess what? A week later i get a letter of approval! Please hire more people like her! read more

I earned my AAS-T in the Computer Network & Information Systems Security (CNISS) program. I really liked the program and felt like I learned a lot about networking and security. There's tons of hands-on style learning through this program. That happens to be the most effective way for me to learn. The instructors can be a little grumpy and complacent at times but that won't deter you from learning the material if you can let things roll of your shoulder easily. They are regionally accredited but most, if not all, of the universities in the area do not accept the credit earned from this school, even though it's supposedly an AAS-T degree. I was planning on attending UW-Tacoma, but learned that only 10 of my credits would be accepted from Clover Park. I was in luck that Green River College has a program similar to the one at Clover Park that accepted a majority of the credits towards a bachelors degree. So, I really enjoyed my time at Clover Park, but was kind of disappointed that my credits didn't transfer to university, which is why they got 4 instead of 5 stars. read more

Worst school EVER! They do not keep their word. They allow teachers to make up their own curriculum so your credits will not transfer anywhere. The credits are worthless and the teacher can teach you whatever crap is in their own head so you don't really learn. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME HERE!! read more
