The winery is very cute and a lot of handmade items. All in all it was a great event. Had a blast with the girls.

Valentines weekend called for a trip down memory lane and to one of our favorite places, The Berkshires. Upon arrival our room was not ready so we looked for a wine bar/winery on Yelp. We were so thrilled to find Balderdash. They were pretty crowded since it was Valentine's Day, but we were able to grab a table in front of the live music. I ordered a wine flight (mostly from California vineyards) they don't grow any grapes here and my husband had a beer. What I also love about this place is that you can bring in your own food. I did see a bunch of couples sharing crackers and cheese. They had a cannoli cart pop up which was delicious! The live music was also great! I honestly didn't want to leave since we were having so much fun. I wish we lived closer we would be here all the time. Last time, we came on a Saturday afternoon and it was crowded inside, but there's plenty of seating outside. There was also live music and it was a great vibe. You can bring your own food, but they also have a food truck outside usually. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The person helping us this time let us try the wine before we bought it which was nice. I have gotten the flight once before, but the amount they give you to try for each wine is very small and for the price, I recommend just getting a glass of wine. My favorite is the truth serum rose blend.

The charcuterie board was good, the meat selection was good, there was a spicy selection which was my fav.Over all the winery was top notch, good selection of whites, good beer for non winos. The ambience was industrial yet modern which I loved. It was light, airy . 10/10 too bad it's so far from home.

The outdoor yard area is also spacious. Convenient parking that you can see the horses near the stable from. It's just a quick drive and easy to locate from Albany. The setting is just as memorable, with a beautiful tasting garden, a music stage, and wide-open grounds that make you want to stay awhile. On my visit, a food truck was serving fresh oysters (Scott shucks!) that paired perfectly with the wine and lovely folk-Indie music. I also stayed overnight through Harvest Hosts (on their farmland in my camper trailer), and waking up on their farmland was picturesque and peaceful!

This is a perfect spot to spend a sunny afternoon and drink some wine. I find most NYS wines to be on the sweet side, but they have a nice selection of dry wines too. I have gotten the "because I got dry" flight before and loved it. For pride month they also had a rainbow mimosa flight that is so fun! I think the food is pretty decent, we loved the pizza and how could you not like cheese curds? I'll be back again and again for events here!

Everyone loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious. The owners are so kind and they really cared about us through the whole process. We also loved that they had a tasting, and we got to try the food before the wedding. I was so impressed by how professional they were, and their chief is fantastic. Their employees are also amazing. I was able to enjoy the food at my wedding, and the drinks. They also helped us find vendors and recommended us DJ Shawn Gillie (he did an amazing job!). If you plan on getting married, check this place out. The pricing is extremely fair. So much space for a large wedding, great food, beautiful place and even better people.
