Happened to drive by Clover Pond on a Sunday afternoon and Decided to stop in - so glad that we did! We sat outside on the tables facing the beautiful vineyard and adorned with vintage cars. We enjoyed flights provided by very knowledgeable staff and a large cheese board.. The owner happened to be present and stopped at our table to talk for a long while. I would highly recommend visiting Clover Pond!

Perfect spot for our book club meeting over some flights of wine. Warmly greeted as I arrived to meet my group, they let us combine tables to all sit together. Love the option of selecting your flight and enjoying it at your table at your own pace. Great variety of white, rose, and red wines at different sweetness levels. Beautiful inside and outside of the building. Grabbed a bottle of white wine to go, a nice perk of the flight was a $5 off one bottle coupon! This place feels like you're truly transported somewhere else with it being tucked away off the road surrounded by vines.

Wonderful spot to enjoy an afternoon tasting wine. The location is beautiful especially if you chose to sit outside. There are a handful of picnic tables with umbrellas overlooking the vineyard- you forget you are in Guilderland! The building itself is so aesthetically pleasing and you can't go wrong sitting inside either. We opted to try a flight of their available wines (5 chosen daily) and ended up buying 2 bottles. The small tasting plate was a great addition with cheeses, crackers, berries, dried fruit, and a delicious chocolate with their logo- it's the small touches! We are so glad they are open and that the wines are fantastic! We will be back.

Are you looking to be temporarily transported to Tuscany, Italy for an afternoon? Then look no further, Clover Pond is your answer! Nestled off of route 20 across from 84 lumber, this gem is a MUST for your summer bucket list! The wine flight is a great way to try a variety of the wines they offer. I could not pick a "favorite" wine from the flight; they were all good! We purchased two bottles to take home. The owners were extremely kind and hospitable, both came to our table to check in. Give these guys a try- you will not be disappointed!

Vino di Vino in the Berkshires!…read more What's not to love when you find a hidden winery that has a gorgeous atmosphere and friendly faces. Valentines weekend called for a trip down memory lane and to one of our favorite places, The Berkshires. Upon arrival our room was not ready so we looked for a wine bar/winery on Yelp. We were so thrilled to find Balderdash. They were pretty crowded since it was Valentine's Day, but we were able to grab a table in front of the live music. I ordered a wine flight (mostly from California vineyards) they don't grow any grapes here and my husband had a beer. What I also love about this place is that you can bring in your own food. I did see a bunch of couples sharing crackers and cheese. They had a cannoli cart pop up which was delicious! The live music was also great! I honestly didn't want to leave since we were having so much fun. I wish we lived closer we would be here all the time. If you get a chance, check out this winery and enjoy a glass and some music on me! Cheers

Last time, we came on a Saturday afternoon and it was crowded inside, but there's plenty of seating outside. There was also live music and it was a great vibe. You can bring your own food, but they also have a food truck outside usually. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The person helping us this time let us try the wine before we bought it which was nice. I have gotten the flight once before, but the amount they give you to try for each wine is very small and for the price, I recommend just getting a glass of wine. My favorite is the truth serum rose blend.

This spot is…read morevery cute and pretty spacious with an outdoor space in addition to a bar and restaurant - if you're looking for a spot for food and with activities (corn hole, connect 4, etc.), this place is a good option! The table was a bit sticky when sitting down, but otherwise it felt pretty clean. The food was decent - I found the appetizers much better than the entrees. Fries and peppers were very solid to share. The dish I got was extremely bland and had no flavor, I had to drench it in hot sauce to get even any sort of taste; if I were eating this place solely based on the food, it'd be a 3, however the additional activities and the drinks raised this to a 4. The drinks were solid, we ended up buying a bottle of their sweet white wine afterwards since we liked it so much. Service was good, food came out pretty quickly. Waters were a bit sparse, but other than that, we felt well taken care of. After eating, we spent an hour or so at one of their outdoor covered spots to play games. I'm unsure if they require a reservation or anything, but we were the only ones out there and no one came out to talk to us so I assume if it's free, you're able to go out. Overall, we enjoyed our time - I probably wouldn't come back, but I think it was a nice spot for brunch when visiting Saratoga for a one-time meal.

I made reservations online a few days ahead and it does get very crowded on weekdays with bridal/baby/birthday parties. We were seated immediately upon arrival. What a great place!…read more We stopped off in the afternoon on a Wednesday during a short trip to the Berkshires. First off, LOVE that you can bring the dogs. Is this normal for an orchard? I'm not familiar. They have the cutest little store with apple cider donuts, fudge, little store items including an apple liqueur of some kind that I was lucky enough to try and that shit is DANGEROUS. They also have a wine tasting area and cider/beer tasting area. We got 2 apple cider donuts (obviously) which were incredible. We also tried a cider flight. I asked for "the fruitest shit you have" and we got a nice spread of different and interesting things including a lavender cider. All of the staff were super nice and friendly. The place is also massive if you are into a lot of walking and things.

One of the owners, Sarah, did a wine tasting for me and was extremely friendly and provided some great background on the various wines. The wines were really good and they had a good variety of sweet and dry options. There's a nice cozy wood burning fireplace with couches to sit and enjoy a glass of wine in the winter months. For those who want to be more active, there is snowshoeing available with snowshoes for rent while you're there. Didn't try that but maybe next year :)
