I decided to open it up before the party to see if it works. It didn't. So, this afternoon I took it back fully expecting to get good service, and the person helping me would gladly open another package to ensure I got one that worked. I went to the counter and explained the situation and was told in no uncertain terms that there is a no return policy if the item has been opened. I asked, how would I know if it didn't work unless I opened it? No hesitation. If it's opened, we won't take it back. That is the last time I will ever visit a Party America. I promptly went next door to the Dollar Tree and told associates in there what happened. I am not going to stop. I will tell my friends and co-workers to not shop your store.

I went in here not expecting spirits but atleast a clown. No Janine. Janine is the best clown of all time and ordered a truck of clowns to teach me how to hop on one foot. One day i'll not be attacked by the neighbors dog and it will be because of Janine. Janine is the clownest clown that ever clowned. Her son, Young Chap Number 1, is the jester i aspire to be. Hopefully i can be like him by next Spook season. As long as i get a job being a clown at Valentino's i'll be a happy flying monkey. Maybe i can then be the official clown of spirit and can order in the Bill Nye Science Guy makeup and May Run make up. I would love to teach people the ways of the clown.

Employees here are real effing assholes. I don't know if…read moreit's because the Huskers lost last night or something, but you can't ask a simple question without getting a freaking teenage-like attitude from 40-somethings. I'm from Reno, NV, and employees at Halloween Spirit stores were 20x more friendly and helpful compared to Lincoln. One of the bigger employees, a male with long hair, acted like a complete child when I asked if they had a certain mask available (I already looked on the wall beforehand). I think it's because my friend and I interrupted his conversation with another co-worker. But basically his tone of voice was like, almost yelling at me, to see if I checked the wall. I explained, and then he storms off to the area and finds the mask. Many other employees before him were even all annoyed when I asked a simple question, such as an older woman behind the front desk. She also screeched at everyone in line that we "needed to do a better job lining up for purchases". Really? How about, "everyone, please line up to each register so we can get to you as quickly as possible". Basically, nobody wants to be bothered with you, and they act like they own the world when they don't. To the manager: whoever is working this year, please don't rehire these hooligans again for the sake of your customers.
