I was an out of state bride (Lincoln though is Home) and working with Starr, mostly virtually, was so easy. Then when I was in town she always allowed me to visit so we could plan decor. I ended up doing my ceremony in the same space and the team was amazing re-staging for the reception. The food was good, the staff was nice and again the space is just so pretty-- and a great location especially having a lot of out of town guests. Close to hotels and bars/restaurants for guests to enjoy during their visit. The minor things are there are some dings on the walls and some of the carpet is worn and threads coming loose but again over all I had a great experience and so did my guests!

They have a special wedding weekend rental where you can rent the loft from Friday afternoon until noon on Sunday. This is what we did and since all of the guests were from out of town it allowed us to have a place for everyone to congregate during the weekend. There are actually two different lofts in the Apothecary--one small, one large. Each has an open area for seating, a kitchen area, and a master suite. We rented the large loft and it held approximately 100 guests comfortably. If you aren't too worried about the comfort of your guests you can probably squeeze in 130 or so. I highly recommend the Apothecary for any special event and Crystal is great to work with!

And seeing both old and young on the dance floor, doing it right, was heartwarming. The drinks are cheap and good. Can't speak for the burgers. Know it's old school here; but there's a whole lot to live about that. Especially those working who treat you like royalty.
