This is not a normal club for anyone checking out this page. This is a swingers club, and I recommend reading all about it on their page, as they have strict rules you must follow and agree to before being granted a membership to come here. Yes, a membership is required, and you must be interviewed to be granted one. This place takes couples only, no single guys, but does allow single girls. This works in a way for couples who are not okay with single guys approaching them. Single guys can be trouble some. The place has two floors and has plenty of beds, chairs, and playrooms to be yourself in and explore your inner fantasies. There is a club type dance floor on top with a DJ, and people do dance and have fun. The bar is also there, although they don't sell alcohol; you must bring your own, and they will hold it for you and pour it out for you. This is where I have a problem with: the line to get your own drink gets really long, and most of the time there is just 1 or 2 people working the bar, and 9 out of 10 times one of them is drunk and spends 20 minutes taking care of someone because they are being chatty and catching up on life and taking shots. Not ideal when you're trying to have a good time and have a drink. They really need to work on this; these ladies work for tips and they do get the tips, so I'm not sure why they don't provide the service. Besides this crazy bar madness, they also have a hot buffet area for people, and they usually have really good food. They have lockers for your stuff, and the party here runs until 5 am most nights. This place is unique because it brings all types of curious people, and you see it all, from cucks to swapping to just observers. Coming here does not mean you need to participate; you can just watch or do your own thing, which is great. Most people are respectful, but there's always that one person. The second floor is where all the fun happens: multiple rooms, a huge bed in the middle, options to lock the door for private play or not, showers, and coed bathrooms are all downstairs, and all safety amenities are provided, including towels. So use them and have fun! The location is literally right on the hood, though, so be careful where you park. Other than that, it is a great place for you and your significant other to try some new things or just check out the scene. First and foremost, the location itself is far from ideal. The area is run down, unsafe & I felt a sense of unease. For anyone stepping into the lifestyle for the first time, this would surely leave a really bad first impression. As a woman in the lifestyle, it's essential for me to feel safe, secure, & valued. Respect is the cornerstone of the LS. Unfortunately, whoever I spoke with on the phone completely failed to provide any respect, they were rude & abrupt. It's just a massive red flag!! As the LS is centered around connection & social interaction not having the fundamentals of basic customer service is concerning to say the least. It's really a missed opportunity as the LS thrives on respect, safety & shared experiences. When a venue fails to provide the above it undermines the very essence of what the LS is about. We had an awesome evening at Club Joi for the St Paddy's party! It was our first time and we didn't know what to expect, but we loved the vibe! There's so many fun things to do...dancing, watching a pole-dancing contest, exploring the many rooms and meeting fun, sexy people. Love the split-level club layout and the 'bring your own alcohol' policy. Everyone working at the club was great, from the front desk, the bartender and the party host. Cons: we did not like the parking lot in the back ($20) and the fact that homeless people are allowed to camp-out by our/the cars...disturbing. The Club did have security, but not enough coverage. Wow! Mind blown, huge smiles, this venue is top notch. Oscar and Cynthia were the perfect welcoming committee. DJ was spot on. John the manager was quick to respond to our inquiries and was a fun mc for the contest with great prizes. I'm a single female and this is a fun place to play with others, but upstairs in the bar/dance area it is way TOO DARK! I was trying to find people I had chatted with over email, but it was impossible to see anyone's face from more than a couple of feet away. The darkness also made it difficult to meet other people that I might be interested in. Also, the bar is supposed to have mixers, but on multiple occasions they did not have any juices (they had all gone bad). Went here for the first time this past Saturday at their new location which is basically East LA. It's large and incognito. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a large dance floor. The dj is not bad but not great either. He definitely plays for himself and not the crowd (he especially does not play according to the action in the back and it's to the point where it can sound kind of ridiculous...his choice of tracks with the sex...so funny). I have been in the dance music business for 15 years and I own the top nightclub in Central America so I know what I'm saying to be accurate. Anywayyyy, there's one bar. BYOB if you want alcohol. My man and I took a bottle of wine (thank God I smoked a giant fatty before we walked in...otherwise oof). Across from the bar are many lockers. Here we go... Beyond that are many fuck beds that sit in the dark which give off a dark leather lounge feel. The beds are in booth/lounge settings and I couldn't count how many. Many 20-30? As the night goes on, the fucking in these very beds increase. You have sport fucking to fondling to group fucking.. Everything goes. Not much guy on guy. Everything else I saw. The crowd I wouldn't call unattractive, but they are definitely not classy and not sexy. A slight raunchiness about them. I saw maybe 2 solid good looking couples there. That's it. You can easily participate by jumping on your own bed and giving a show or just observe. You have 20 to 60 year olds cruising the beds for observation as if it were a museum. The people going at it pay no attention to you and go hard. Again, not a very attractive group, but whatever. You realize it's not about the sex, it's just their dance floor. It's bigger than sex. I actually felt their energy while cruising the sex floor and it was quite overwhelming. Not a horny energy....just very foreign. Different...but I def understood it. You have couples that cruise in, watch and leave. That's their get-off. You have couples on the dance floor that eye each other, then the men allow their women to give each other a 5 minute titty-p**y fondle then walk away. The pretty asian bartender in the back was cool and actually struck up a conversation with me. She was very genuine. Give her a raise someone! She introduced me to the owner. He was a little arrogant with me. Pretentious is the word. Funny considering I own a club 4 times the size of his with much better sound, talent, etc. but ok. Let his ego shine on. I ended the conversation by wishing him a goodnight. After about 45 min give or take, we had enough and left. Will I go back? Does my man want to go back? Nah. Just not our crowd. Def our scene but not our people. The place and people lack class. Trust me on this one. Hell, their website reflects this.
