I went there yesterday and it smells filthy. I hope the management will do weekly disinfection of the wall, the floor, devices, gadgets, etc. ( Pay attention to dirty corners and dark rooms). Use Clorox, Chlorhexidine, or any effective fragrant disinfectant because in the end the management will attract more members to come. The floor is dirty of spit, shit, pee, and cum. I will begain this review with some information I do not live in LA . I have often traveled from Colorado. In the last five weeks I have traveled to LA theee times, and slammers 6 times. With tip ive spent upwards of $400.00 at this establishment. On 3/2/25 I arrived around 930 pm and was to head home to Denver the next morning at 630am. This was my 2nd visit in two days, I rented a locker, purchased lube and a gatorade. At the end of the night I made my way to the locker area to gather my brlongings I opened my locker, there was someone next to me and someone in the locker above mine. So not to be in others way, I grabed all of my things from the locker and placed them on the bench and hung my unlocked lock with the key on the locker. Made my way across the room to charge my phone and mske coffie. While doing this I hear what sounded like metal hitting the floor, I look back see a lock in the floor. IThen get dressed to leave. The other two gentlemen had left and several other patrons where moving about. I go to grab my lock from the locker where I had hung it before. The lock was was no longer hanging from my locker.I recalled the lock on the floor and I grab it. The this lock been locked which you have to do with the key, but there is no key I sight. So i proceded to searxlch the locker room several times, I also unpack my bag three times and repack it. At one point two other guys amd myself where looking for this key. At first using flashlights later with the lights on With ten mins left before Slammers closed. I go to the desk with my things and the locked lock. I tell the attendant that I have no idea what vould have happened. I know I had the key when I went into the locker room because I was able to get my belongings. He was well aware of how hard myself and the two other individuals had searched for the key and that I had not left the locker roo. Since I entered The employee informed me that I needed to find the key or it would cost me $20. At the very end of my trip I had run out of money and had just enough to get to the airport to go home . He asked how much I could pay i told him $7; to which he scoffed and told me that if I didn't find the key it would cost me 20 or he would keep my ID, which i needed to get home. He said I'd beyyet to hurry up because they closed in 10 min. I would have liked to been shown some empathy . They could have offered to let me send the 20 when I got home, or pay the next time they attended seeing i just purchased a 5 month membership for $57 earlier that weekend. Instead this employee kept my ID. This made it very difficult for me to board my plane home. If this is how you treat any of your customers I will never again be a patron and spend my hard smeared momey. I really enjoyed the time spent here, Clearly my buisness wasn't something you enjoyed having. So I've tossed my membership card. I will never set foot in you establishment or spend another dollar to support this place. Also I was informed by tsa agents at LAX that you keeping my ID was actually illegal. read more

I went to Slammer last night and had a great time. However, the entire club is FILTHY! Someone should contact the LA county health dept and they should go in with blacklight's when they do the inspection. When was the last time all the floors were scrubbed with soapy bleach water and pressure washed? It looks like never and all the floors are covered in gum. It's obvious that the owner doesn't care about the cleanliness of the club. Being the only sex club in town, you think the owner would take pride in it and keep it clean. Hire a professional service to come in and do a deep clean. Your business might increase once guys see how clean and sanitary the club is. You have to spend the money to make the money. Hopefully, the owner will read this feedback and do something. We shall see! read more

Don't go. I would rename Slammer the Island of Lost Souls. Entrance is $35 credit card only, no cash accepted. $10 cash for the parking lot which if you should decide to go is worth it. The parking lot is monitored in person and by video surveillance. Zero appeal, zero interest. I was surprised they asked me for proof of Covid vaccination, after most places stopped asking ages ago. About as depressing a mob as you could find. Purgatory would be preferable to a stint in this hell hole. To the people complaining that they were refused entry, all I can say is you were the fortunate ones. I don't mind paying $45 cover and parking, but the cost excludes the majority of their possible clientele, especially college age students. read more

Stopped going about 2 months ago. I'm a fit college guy in my late 20's.. The older bald guy with the piercings who works behind the coat check counter would always chat me up. Condescending, rude, had the audacity to tell me last time I was there that the only reason I was accepted into my university was because I'm a minority. Always took his condescending humor with a grain of salt, but chatting up patrons and putting customers down is just bitter and distasteful, especially when it comes from elders in the community. I can see now why the place doesn't attract guys my age at all. The rest of the staff are professional with the exception of the older pierced guy who would always make crude condescending comments disguised as humor. I can see now why the last few times I went the clientele had been dwindling. Hardly anyone there. People, especially guys my age don't want to give their money to a business that doesn't treat their customers with the basic respect they deserve. My experience with that staff member was not an anomaly to me. I have heard others there complain about him as well. Unfortunately most people probably leave because of him and just never come back instead of bringing it to the attention of management. Or perhaps management doesn't care. Hello Michael J I've been happily attending the slammer for 20 plus years. I love the club. Never ever a complaint with the club or employees. I've valeted for years. But today Saturday night at 10:30 pm a new young valet and young security guard was accepting the cars. There was one car in front of me. The security guard says I'll have to wait but I'll be next unless I want to park on the street. I responded I would wait my turn. When the car ahead of me moved up I moved my vehicle half way into the lot not blocking the street. So cars were passing down the side street. I was waiting for 10. Minutes. All of a sudden the manager by the name of Bob comes out and starts yelling at me asking why I want move so other customers can get in. I responded the security guard told me I would have to wait but I'm next. Bob tells me I'm being argumentative and he's not letting me in to the club tonight. I tried to explain to him what the security guard told me but he refused to hear me and cut my conversation and told me to go home. I don't know if someone made Bob mad before I got there or what his state of mind was. Never have I had any problems with anyone there and am concerned why he knows my face, only and have never any conversation with him. WOW I was very shocked and stunned about his behavior and to tell me to go home he was not letting me in tonight when I was only doing what the security guard asked me to do which was to wait. If you are uncomfortable with that you may want to go to slammer instead. I've been going to slammer for more than 10 years and have seen the layout change throughout the years almost always for the better. I miss the metal tub in the back, I miss the walkup sketchy stairs to get to the tub inside. I miss the big leather couch and tv with porn outside. I miss the tight parking lot outside to the right. I miss when it was a bigger parking lot shared with semi trucks. I will always keep a current membership bc I love it there. My frequency has fluctuated but I'd say I go at least once a month or so. After pandemic they honored the people who had membership cards that were interrupted by the closure, and that was great business practice I think. I have a couple suggestions but I'm telling you, this is a great place to frequent if you want a ton of dudes. My suggestions: 1. Keep up the good work and ty for creating a safe space to fool around 2. That back dark room red light really needs to be dimmed or something. It's really bright and I think there should be at least one fully dark room for wild fucking. 3. The last few times I've been there the main attendant has been super rude to me, and I'm not sure why. He's been there forever since way before pandemic, I think as long as I've been coming. He honestly throws my card back to me through the window and i have to basically block it from falling to the ground. I never have interacted with him except at the door so I didn't do anything to him specifically, but it's off the charts. Like tone it down dude, you're truly killing the vibe. 4. People are using their bright LED watches to shine on others while they're doing their business. Those things are as bright as phones and idk if there's a way to monitor that. read more

In fact when I was leaving on my last fun filled visit the security guard told me to have a great night and be safe..crowd is a good mix on Friday/Saturday...I have never been any other night so can't tell u the mix on other nights...so if u are whiney, judgemental or a bit of a Karen...please don't go...Slammer provides a place for men to actively find themselves.
