I came across Your Shakti, and with Bhumika's help, I was able to control my condition significantly. She created an oil blend and a salve for me to apply topically, which over time smoothed out the "scarring" and lesions on my scalp. I even began to regain pigmentation. After a successful consultations regarding my skin conditions, I began taking Yoga classes taught by Bhumika. Her knowledge of yoga along with her calm composure has really helped me relax, not only physically, but mentally as well. I recommend Your Shakti to anyone suffering from health issues or even anything simply interested in bettering their health!

I felt I was too young for knee surgery so I tried the oils from your Shakti. Within 2 weeks, I felt like they were getting better and in 2 months, I was able to run again without pain. It was pretty incredible. Since then, I've been doing aroma therapy to focus at work or relax at home and replaced synthetic vitamins with all natural herbs to supplement my diet. This place has definitely improved my quality of life since I started about a year ago. Give it a shot. Well worth it.

I joined LA Fitness in December 2013, back when they were at the old Bally location. The current…read morelocation on Route 18 opened in summer 2014. I used to do mostly strength training and it certainly offers enough space and equipment, although during peak hours you may be waiting a while for a squat rack or bench press. There may also be a wait for the cardio machines, especially the Lateral X since there are only two. (It's a very expensive machine.) Unfortunately, I've found that it's fairly common for members to not be very courteous and not rack their weights when done using them, or put them in the wrong spot. There have been several occasions where my workout has been interrupted by me having to play Where's Waldo for a pair of dumbbells when the other pair in the same weight was taken. At least the other members don't bother me when I'm exercising or try to rush me off of a bench or machine. I used to do personal training here. I wish there were different packages offered, like 3 months or 6 months, but the only option is a 1-year contract for $200 a month where you need to pay an early termination fee of 50% of the remaining months' cost if you cancel. After the 1 year is up, it's month to month. They'll have you sign your initials a few times on an electronic pad, but insist on reading the contract. (They'll also email you a copy and you can cancel within 3 days for a full refund.) I had my personal training for over a year, with Evelyn. She is great! I've done one-on-one sessions and small group training with her. I eventually cancelled my personal training but would recommend her to anyone. For the past several months I've mainly been coming here just for the classes, which are included with the membership. Zumba is very popular and there are always at least a few men there, for anyone who thought it was just for women. I also enjoy the cycle classes. I had been going to yoga every Monday night but haven't really been going since Sal the instructor left. He also used to do cycle classes and he was so motivating! I also enjoy Sylvia's cycle classes and Stacey's Zumba classes, but I'll go to classes with various other instructors too. The hours are pretty good. Monday evenings are very crowded, so are Tuesdays, then it starts to taper off through Friday, when the place is dead. I have to leave my house quite early for the 6:45 and 7pm classes due to the traffic in the area. Careful in the women's locker room. The floors tend to be wet a lot since women don't properly dry themselves off after using the pool or the shower. I've also, on two different occasions, seen an abandoned pair of underwear on the floor. I've never used the showers or the pool at this location so I can't comment on those. They used to have a smoothie/snack bar but got rid of it a few months ago. They don't even have the vending machines anymore! How is anyone supposed to get a drink if they don't have an empty bottle they could fill at the water fountain, or what if they want to drink something else? Even though there are a few things about this LA Fitness that I don't like, I'm overall pretty happy with it. Unfortunately, I'm cancelling my membership since I'm moving. Cancelling is an easy process; just log into the website, get the cancellation form, and mail it out, preferably via certified mail. (I used an online certified mail website to save a trip to the post office.) Wish I knew that when I cancelled my personal training, since I waited for one specific employee for over half an hour just to get the cancellation form when the exact same one was available through the website. A few days after sending the form out, I got an email alert that they received my request and it specified my last day of service, and refunded me for my most recent monthly payment since I already paid for that when I signed up. I'm not sure what kinds of rates or packages are currently available but I paid $170 due upon signup (initiation fee plus first and last month of membership) and $32 monthly.

The smoothie bar is always a place! I've only seen a handful of them. This gym was clean but didn't…read morereally have much stuff as the new updated LA's.

I truly enjoy my workout experience at Pivotal Pilates. From the moment I walked in for my three…read moreintroductory sessions with Jen I knew this would be a great place. Jen was amazing at showing me the basics of Pilates and helping me find reformer classes that would suite my needs. Susan and her instructors have a wonderful disposition and are extremely skillful instructors. When initially starting I had a lot of body and self confidence issues since I had gained an extreme amount of weight. I was not comfortable with how I looked; however, never once did I feel out of place or uncomfortable. I love the intimacy of the classes, knowledge of the instructors and the welcomeness of the studio. Since my journey I've attend several group classes with various instructors and personal sessions with Susan. I've enjoyed learning more about my body, what works best for my body even with health challenges and overall body movement at Pivotal. I highly recommend this studio.

I enrolled in eight classes per month for $250. Prior to my enrollment, I clearly communicated to…read morethe owner, Jennifer, that my work commitments in the northern area of New Jersey would make it challenging for me to attend classes regularly. She assured me that unused classes would roll over each month, which influenced my decision to sign up. I have consistently paid my monthly dues, and as expected, there have been instances where I could not attend, resulting in accrued classes. Recently, my membership was suspended because the management deemed it unethical to continue charging me while I was not attending. I conveyed to Donna, the manager I have not yet met, that I am willing to continue paying. However, their primary concern seems to be my accrued classes, for which I have already paid. They informed me that I would only regain access to my accrued classes if I re-enrolled, limiting my ability to utilize these classes to a specific timeframe. I find it highly unethical that I am required to sign up again to access my accrued classes (in a specific time frame), while my new membership will continue to accrue additional classes. This approach demonstrates a lack of respect for clients and prioritizes financial gain over customer satisfaction. The business practices at this pilates studio are subpar, with even former employees highlighting a lack of respect. While they offer standard pilates classes, there is nothing exceptional about the experience. Instructors frequently change without prior notification, and clients are often spoken to in a condescending manner. I would prefer to invest my $250 in a more professional studio.
