I love this studio! I've been a member of a half dozen studios over the past 20 years and I can say without a doubt Cristina is one of the finest instructors I've worked with. She's always coming up with new moves and new ways to challenge my body and my brain. After so many years with Pilates that's tough to do! Joanne is another amazing instructor here. Can I tell you how happy I am Knoxville finally has Pilates? I'm so happy! I love Pilates! Great location! Lots of parking. Super clean, kept nice and cool temperature wise. I have been a member of Club Pilates for about 9 months and I love this studio and the workouts. There are class times for everyone's schedule, and workouts for everyone's experience level. All the instructors always offer modifications for injuries or any particular weaknesses you may have. They also offer options to make your workout more challenging. Cristina is one of my favorite instructors, she emphasizes correct form to get the most out of the class and avoid injury. She is also great at mixing things up so you never get bored! Buyer beware. Total scam. This business does not stand behind what they advertise. I paid for private lessons and only received one. Originally I was told they would work with my schedule and that was false. I tried to contact Carissa the manager to schedule my paid for services and after an exhausting amount of attempts no response. The parent company is Xponential fitness. They should be aware. Response to below: I have attempted on several occasions to call and text Carissa with no response. I provided documentation that you received the payments from my bank. I would love for someone to contact me to resolve. However, with my experience with Club Pilates it's not how they run their business. Not an establishment to be trusted. I'm not sure if it's just Jennifer's tone, but the way she kept correcting me sounded a bit pointed. Almost aggressive. I had literally JUST did a wrong move the second time (because I came the night before and thought it was a repetition of a movement from another instructor) and she was like "is it your first time here?" calling me out in class, and I said "oh no, I was here last night. sorry, I just got confused." and laughed it off. and she was just like "oh" and walked away. the more I thought about it, I was like excuse me? people were getting confused by her instructions the entire class left and right after that, it wasn't just me. and she didn't fee the need to ask them if it was their first time. the way she said it wasn't a sweet, curious tone either. I've been doing Pilates for two years and all the other instructors are very bubbly, and they'll happily just repeat the instructions and address to the whole group "think of pulling through your spine, not a hinge in the waist" as a way to correct you without making you feel dumb. I don't know why Jennifer couldn't just do that. she did nicely and quietly go to another student to correct them one on one, but I definitely think her tone needs polishing. especially if she's sounding reprimanding when she doesn't mean to be. like literally it was five minutes in and she asked me that then other people were needing a second to get used to her jargon. which is fine; everyone deserves a second to wrap their heads, but don't make them fee dumb. I've been to other studios in Atlanta too, and they don't use the jargon she uses. read more

I love this spot! Amanda, the manager is AMAZING. Always so cheery and helpful, calling people by name and constantly improving the studio and experience. The instructors are fantastic!!! Ashley, Christina, Joanne, Lian, Leslie- go above and beyond, friendly, so knowledgeable, they make class fun, challenging and relaxing all at the same time! Cannot say enough good about each of them and the care, dedication and attention they give at every class to every person attending! Every class is different - I have had the unlimited membership for almost 2 years and go almost daily. I've never gotten bored, and I always look forward to going. The workouts are so great, the "community" is kind and welcoming, it's always clean and they truly care about their members. I can't imagine not going there! Definitely give it a try! I absolutely love that we finally have reformers in knoxville! If you've never tried it - don't hesitate. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, the instructors here are top notch, so patient and the members are also so welcoming. Pilates will totally change your body in ways you've never realized it could. It's a totally approachable and incredibly effective work out. The instructors are very talented and provide a complete workout. I've been going for about 2 mths, 3 to 4 times a week and have never had the same workout. Great instructors with a variety of classes. I feel like I always get a total body workout.

This place is a rip off. Firstly, they do not allow children younger than 15 to wait for the parent in the front room during the classes, but they don't make it transparent when they are selling you the contract. This is so unexpected because all other places in the neighborhood allow children to wait in their premises. This would have been a no go for me because I don't have anywhere to leave my 10yo during the classes. Secondly, if you cancel classes within 12h of class time using the app, they take your credit away, even if there are still spots available. They don't tell you that when you purchase the package. After the fact, they tell you that the app does that, but if you call them or text them, that doesn't happen. But they never tell you that upfront and they don't return the credits that they take away from you, which you've paid for! I tried to explain these facts to the owner Carissa but to no avail. I asked for contract cancellation for the reasons above and she said she will charge my credit card on file for $100 early cancellation fee. She is taking my money left and right and leaving me with nothing to enjoy because not only I cannot go if I have my son with me, but I cannot go because she took all my credits away! For your information, their direct competitor in Turkey Creek lets children wait for parents in the front room, only penalizes you with a $15 fee for cancellations within 2h of class time (they don't take your credits that you've paid for away), they are less expensive, and the effect on your body is way faster. So all in all, I'm out of Club Pilates. I hope this review helps people to make the right decision on where they put their money and who they give their credit card information to. read more
