I've been going to Pilates for many years in Arizona. We recently moved to Athens, AL. I was so excited to see a Club Pilates within 40 minutes of my house. I've taken 3 classes so far at this studio and it has been amazing. The studio is a really nice size, so you have room to move around. The staff is very friendly. I love taking Pilates because it doesn't feel like a workout (until the next day, when I can't move). Pilates works the whole body in just 50 minutes. Give them a try! I have been a member at Club Pilates Madison for almost a year now and I love it! I always leave feeling relaxed, but at the same time feel the burn from a good strength training session. I combine these classes with weight training for a full balance, and can't say enough good things about Club Pilates instructors. read more

I have always loved Pilates & as I'm getting older with past injuries it's been great having the studio close by to get me through. You don't have to kill yourself at the gym to work the muscles you need to get toned. All the Instructors are nice & some are really great at creating new classes each week. I have attended Club Pilates in Madison, AL for almost 3 months. Every class has been well attended and the instructors have been very good. Getting into a class can be a challenge, so you must select a different time, even if you are scheduling 2 weeks in advance, but I knew that going into the program. The classes have really made a difference in my overall health and muscle tone. read more

The classes and instructors are wonderful. The equipment is the best! I had to stop my membership because the location was inconvenient for me and the class schedule wasn't the best with my work schedule so I didn't go often enough to justify the cost. I would have loved to continue otherwise. The cancellation process is harder than it needs to be but one cannot really complain because the information about that is provided up front to new members. read more

The pilates classes are nice but what is extremely annoying is that you get charged if you don't cancel 12 hours in advance or you don't show up. So if you oversleep you get charged or if something comes up and you need to cancel you get charged. If you are paying for the unlimited subscription you are already paying about $200, it seems like they just want to rip money off of you. I understand they want to have openings for another person. But you are already receiving money if the person doesn't show up because they had to pay for the individual session if they don't have unlimited. It just seems like a greedy business scam. Once the 3 months are over. I am canceling my membership. In addition they text you instead of call or email which is both annoying and unprofessional. I have had 2 different people texting me from here, why are employees having access to my phone number to text me. read more

I normally dont publicly come out and say negative things about places but since the owner/manager decided to argue with me for 10 mins over the phone about trying to cancel my three month membership due to my bulging discs in my back (with a doctors note saying my back went out, again), I decided that I would post something. I previously recommended Club Pilates in Madison, AL to everyone. Now, I do not recommend them. Yes, there is always two sides to every story but .. let this be your warning. :-) The only way you can get out of the contract is a doctors note saying you can NEVER exercise again. So, I paid $174 for the first month and attended 6 out of 8 classes. Last month (2nd), I paid without using one single class (which is totally my fault for not contacting them sooner). I tried to get them to cancel this next month (3rd month) and according to their contract they just won't do that unless I'm practically paralyzed; they can only "freeze the account" for when I can excerise again. I told them the first day I had issues with my back, that I had just came out of physical therapy after 8 weeks, and was not sure if I could do everything. Honestly, I thought it was a month to month membership but of course she stated "well, you're an adult and you signed the contract so you should know". Yea, that's on me too. If they would have just said, "No, I'm sorry we just can't cancel it" and left it at that, I would never have wrote this post. I would have still been mad, yes... However, the manager proceeded to argue and interrupt everything I said. I literally just had to stop her and tell her that I would be speaking. It was like she called just to argue with me. I told her to go ahead and charge me but I would let everyone know what they did to me. In my opinion (take it for what it's worth), they have a system built so they get 3 months pay no matter what (great system for them but horrible for customers). I guess if I was in the hospital they wouldn't have cared either. I literally have a physical problem and can't use their facility but they just don't give a crap. I hope she sleeps well tonight knowing she has $348 for doing nothing. read more

Instructors do not care about helping someone new and can be pretty condescending. This is NOT an all-inclusive place where I felt comfortable with a workout in my own skin, if anything, I felt judged and dismissed. Customer service is horrible. They are all about the money here and do not care about anything else! STAY AWAY from this place, there are other pilates places that are far better! Judging by the other reviews... I have been going to Pilates for almost a year now. I have bad knees, but Pilates has really helped me get back in shape without adding extra strain to my knees. Which is why I love Grace's classes. She tells us to listen to our body and provides modifications for the days my knees don't want to cooperate. She loves what she does and her passion exudes through the way she teaches! Don't hesitate to take classes. Pilates is for everyone and the Huntsville studio is one of the best studios I have been to. read more

I love this studio! The instructors made me feel welcome from the get go, are always willing to provide modifications, and challenge you to keep going when the workout gets tough!
