The chiropractor (Dr.T) takes a very holistic approach to helping his patience feel better. So, it makes total sense that his treatment is complemented by the easy access to a whole range of different yoga classes. They offer everything from restorative yoga to special yoga sessions for prenatal yoga. Whether you are a beginner or you consider yourself a seasoned practitioner, you will definitely find a class that suits you. I love the beginner yoga class! The studio is warm and inviting and all of the instructors are patient. While they each have their own unique style, they all make the practice accessible to anyone, regardless of your skill level. During the pandemic, due to restrictions to in person classes, they have been offering virtual classes. I think it is awesome that they found a way to continue to offer yoga to so many people. In fact, it provides the opportunity for so many of us to participate that might not otherwise be able to go to the studio. If you want to try yoga for the first time, or you're looking for a new place to practice, definitely check them out. You will not regret it!

The first two sessions I took were all-levels yoga flow and the third was therapeutic power flow. I consider myself an advance beginner and I found the classes appropriate, with my preference for therapeutic power flow. A note to beginners, there were no adjustments made by instructors so I don't recommend either for first timers. I found the studio a bit cold/sterile. My regular studio is warm and smells wonderful of essential oils and incense. I will be back. It served my need to practice while away from home.

At Coreworks, the classes have no more than 8-10 reformers, so the instructor can take the time to help each student with the routines. No two workouts are the same, and classes are never dull. If you are thinking of giving Pilates a try, visit CoreWorks and check Groupon, as there are often new member/class packages.

Per the instructions on groupon, I emailed Fran so that I could create a log in online but I didn't hear back from her so I called the office. Once my account was created, I was able to sign up for classes. I was informed before I took any classes I would need to take the Intro to Equipment class. Fran was the instructor. She was patient and helpful as it was my first time and I needed specialized attention. For my second session, I took Reformer I & II with Doreen. Foe my last session I took Tower with a substitute for Doreen. All the instructors were patient, helpful, and friendly. They ask if anyone had injuries and they walk around and if your technique is wrong they adjust and correct you which I greatly appreciated. The classes were challenging to me since I am not good at following directions. Also, if you don't remember instructions well, I recommend taking Intro to Equipment multiple times. I had to look around to see how to do things as I am a visual learner, not an audio learner. The facility is tucked away in the corner and is not visible if you are in the parking lot. Fortunately I saw someone wearing athletic clothes and followed them. The facility is clean and bright. There are two individual restrooms. There is a main room with cubbies. The reformer room also had cubbies. The reformer room was slightly warm even with ceiling fans so I dressed lighter the second and third session. I enjoyed my experience, but could have benefitted from more intro classes. The classes were much different than my normal cardio and strength training classes at my gym. The pace was slower and it was a great way to relieve stress. I highly recommend Core Fitness for Pilates.

The energy here is so motivating. I'm working out alongside other women who are supportive and encouraging & it has made a huge difference. I find myself pushing my limits in ways I never expected, and actually enjoying it. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming, which made getting started so much easier. Even some of the long-time members have made me feel right at home. There's a strong sense of community here that makes you want to keep showing up. It's even convenient enough for me to stay consistent, because they have on-site childcare and virtual classes. I also happened to join during their 21st anniversary celebration, and it's been awesome being part of such a big milestone with them. I can already tell this gym is going to be a key part of my wellness journey. Highly recommend Transformations Fitness to any woman looking for a supportive, empowering space to get stronger!

As total beginners, she made sure we didn't feel intimidated and that we enjoyed ourselves, while also challenging ourselves. They have a variety of different workout equipment, a variety of classes, and are beginner friendly (various levels available)! They have good hygienic practices too, making sure that we tidied up and disinfected the equipment after use. We arrived early unsure if the studio was open and was able to reach the owner quickly and get confirmation that class was still on, with all of the rain and traffic we were happy to hear that. I am Very excited to come back here with friends, even all the way from DC!

The only available classes are very early or very late, which do not fit most people's schedules. I scheduled a 2.0 class, but it was canceled by their staff. The front office said I must be assessed and approved by an instructor, even though I have experience in many advanced Pilates classes at other studios. I asked when the instructor would be available to assess me, and they said they were unsure of the next available time. They take your money without assessing you but limit your ability to attend classes in many ways. I tried to talk to their manager and waited for 2 hours with no response. The front office said she was in a meeting. However, when you see their studio, there isn't even a meeting room--big lie. A kind reminder: before you enroll at the Laurel location, check if you can find any available classes that fit your usual workout time. If you cannot find available classes, it might be better to try another location. Club Pilates is a franchise business, and its membership cannot be used at other locations. Mostly, you can only use your membership at one location, so be cautious before you enroll. I leave this review on 6/19/24. I attached their schedule in the next days, you can see almost nothing you can schedule.
