I had an amazing experience at the 30-minute Introduction to Pilates class at Club Pilates Severna Park with Dawn! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel at home. Cliff, the GM went over details about the studio and Dawn did a compressed intro class that allowed me and another guest get a feel for the equipment. Dawn made me feel completely comfortable and confident--even as a beginner. Dawn explained everything clearly, offered great form cues, and created such a positive, encouraging atmosphere. Love this location! The instructors are all great and the studio is always clean. I came here for chronic lower back pain and it has helped tremendously! One caveat-If you don't have an unlimited membership it can be a bit of a challenge to sign up for the classes you want right away, but I have not had trouble getting the classes I need as long as you are first or second on the waitlist. read more

Expensive, difficult to cancel, and with lackluster support. They draw you in with a free intro then employ teen-girl peer pressure tactics to get you to sign up. It's a 3 month contract, after which you are held to a 30 day cancelation policy which you must submit in person (and there is no leniency if your 30 day falls on a holiday; ask me how I know). The trainers are fine and the facility is fine, but this is for people with a strong fitness baseline, money to waste, and extremely flexible schedules. If you're a working person trying to build up your fitness, I would avoid, unless you love burning cash. read more

Friendly staff and calming atmosphere. You can tell how popular this spot is by some of the wear on the equipment. I did not feel pressured to sign up for a class subscription. The instructor took time to make sure she addressed each class member's concerns and checked in on me when I slowed down a bit. I look forward to coming back regularly. read more

The free Intro class was great! The instructor took the time to explain how to get on and off the reformer and provided clear instructions for the various exercises and provided some modifications for those who were interested. The instructor took the time to explain the benefit of each exercise. The facility is inviting, clean and equipment in excellent shape. A brief history of the location I attended was given by the front desk which I found very interesting. At the end of the class, a brief explanation of the various programs and payments were explained by the front desk. I have signed up for more classes with the help of the front desk the next day. I look forward to my journey of strengthening my body and core. This should help with my total knee replacement recovery. I highly recommend you try Club Pilates in Severna Park. Great workout. Instructors are phenomenal.. Wish there were more evening classes especially Fri-Sun. Weeknights fill quickly by those who work full time. Waitlists for classes are 5-10 deep sometimes so it may be 2 weeks before you can get a class in. Membership is $$$ but only if you sign up for once a week. Definitely challenged physically. It is great for balance and core strength. They accomodate injuries which is awesome. Absolutely love this place and the instructors here. Reformer Pilates is and can be a lot harder than people think but in a very good way! After discovering I have a heart arrhythmia, I was told that I had to stop my Orangetheory and F45 workouts. I was worried about how I would stay in shape until I found Club Pilates! We went to a free introductory class that was very helpful in gauging our readiness for and interest in Pilates. We're pretty impressed by how the members are pampered by the staff with, apart from engaging programs and workouts, various fun activities to celebrate special occasions like Cinco de Mayo or Mothers Day. Also the instructors are fun and adapt to the members' degree of comfort and skill. The place is clean and the equipment plentiful and user friendly. Definitely recommend Club Pilates. read more

I signed up for a limited membership (4 classes a month) in October, 2023 and it's been great. I started with the Reformer Flow classes then discovered Cardio Sculpt which is just right for me because I NEED the cardio. I love the small class size and the flexible schedule (as I prefer early afternoon classes). I also love the online and app access for scheduling, as well as the ability to be waitlisted. read more

I enrolled for a three month introductory membership and now am paying an additional two months because I did not cancel my membership. Even after informing the club that I am not able to continue due to health issue, they will not make an exception. I'm really enjoying Club Pilates. I've been going for about a month now. The classes are challenging and it's a welcoming environment regardless of experience or age. Each class I've taken is different and is a total body workout. You'll find your favorite instructors. The membership guidelines are very clear and reasonable; like anywhere you must read and understand the contract you are signing. The classes are the perfect size so the instructor can give feedback. There are different memberships. I started with 8 classes a month and have since upgraded to All Access Passport. I'll be traveling for work, want more classes, and can find a studio most places I travel, and want to continue my progress. It is not inexpensive but for my experience it's been worthwhile. I'm getting stronger and more flexible so I'll definitely continue! read more

I started Pilates three months ago and love it. Doing this even twice a week has relieved back and knee pains. I was worried having two knee replacements I would not be able to do the exercises. With modified versions there has been no difficulty. The instructors are very helpful. read more

Very sketchy accounting practices. Enjoyed the classes and instructors. Had issues with classes being full and not being able to get in was doing it with family and two of us would get in to find that three people didn't show. They would book because they have unlimited but then not show up. That was frustrating and as others have said before that there accounting/billing policies are sketchy. I won't join another place where you have to notify them a month before you want to leave and if you miss that date by 1 day there are no exceptions. Unfortunately it's how most gyms are run. If you can go anywhere else please do. ANYWHERE ELSE! Stay away! Stay away! I have been a member for some time now. When I go to book the class there are always complications with booking, and I have to call or drive up (because they never answer phone). They do not offer many evening classes, and thats sucks - but it is what it is. Booking is very stressful, and the workers are rude and so is the GM, Cliff. After months of me struggling to book classes so I decided to cancel membership. I called for 4 DAYS straight to get in contact with someone in regards to what my next steps were. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. I eventually went up in person to cancel, and Cliff the general manager, says he has to charge me for another month because i didn't give 30 day notice. I explained to him that I attempted to call for 4 days(which would've been well before the 30 days). I told him that the main reason was because it was difficult to book the class I wanted. him and his associate told me "sometime you just have to sit on the app, and refresh it all day waiting for someone to drop out of the class". I'm sorry but I do not have the time nor energy for that task. I asked him for the cooperation number because he said, as the general manager, he cannot stop the "system" from charging me. As someone who has 4 degrees in the realm of Computer Science, I found this absurd. The number he gave me was for a club Pilates in Chesterfield Missouri. Thankfully I found the number (949) 346-9794 in case anyone else would like it! Overall my experience has been horrible. If you have nothing to do Monday - Friday then this is great, but if not do NOT GO HERE. HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

So far, I've taken the intro class and one level one class. I really enjoy this studio. Everyone that I've met (instructors and students) has been super sweet and welcoming. Currently, I'm pretty out of shape, and trying to get back into something active. The classes are challenging, but completely doable. It's truly what you make of it. I'm excited to see how I'll progress over the next month or two here. I've never done Pilates before, but I'm loving it, and I think you will too! Review edit: I have to drop this down to two stars for the membership policy alone. I have a monthly membership, but I haven't been going as much, because I'm enrolled into an 8-week boot camp. I didn't see in the contract anywhere that classes do not roll over. So, with this locations limited schedule that never changes, I can almost never make it. The classes don't roll over, so I've wasted money monthly dues. Cherry on the top: when you request to cancel you membership, you need more than a month's notice, meaning you're on the hook for two more charges to your card. read more

This all started with a wonderful Christmas gift from my husband, and ended up as a horrible experience costing me hundreds of dollars in unused classes. I was given a gift certificate and I opted to pay an additional $50-$60 to get a better bundle of classes. This was my first time doing pilates, and I wanted to get the most out the classes. This required me signing up for a membership. There is no option to not sign up, even if you are using a gift certificate. This caused a problem in the future. I did a few classes and they were nice, but pilates is just not really my thing. The instructors were very helpful and engaging. I particularly enjoyed Ruby's classes. But I find yoga, paddle boarding and running more my style. So, I decided to cancel my membership with the studio. I initially emailed the studio through their website to cancel. After waiting a few days, I did not get a response. So I called the studio and was told I needed to fill out a cancellation form. I was emailed the form and I quickly filled it out and sent it back. The membership states that cancellation doesn't come into effect until 30 days after they receive it. I cancelled on February 10th, and my membership was therefore cancelled as of March 11th. But on March 5th my credit card was charged for another full month. So 23 days after I cancelled my membership, I was charged a full month membership since my membership renews on the 5th of the month. I feel that I should not have been charged the full month since I was trying to cancel before Feb 5th. But the manager Beth told me: Ruth, this is how business is done. She did not provide any solution. I argued that I tried to contact them much earlier as stated above, but Beth wanted exact names of people I spoke to, and very detailed information that is impossible to recall exactly. She made me feel stupid for not knowing how businesses are run, and made it a point to remind me that this was my fault and not theirs. Since she was so blatantly rude to me, I decided not to go back to any of the classes that I already paid for. I am in the customer service business and this was not the proper way to handle the situation. It seemed as though Beth cared more about short term money vs the reputation of her business. read more

Appreciate the individual stations so there is no sharing of equipment during class. Staff is friendly and nice community of members where everyone supports each other! Expect to make new friends in class. Feels safe and clean with great equipment, what else is there to love, it's PILATES, do yourself a favor and just try it!! Some commented on their membership agreement, you are given all the information before signing up, you have the ability to ask questions at any time, and it's really not that complicated! It is a business, and they are doing their best to serve the local community and stay open, they aren't out to just take your money. I seriously adore this place. I've been a member since they opened in November. There's easy parking, an easy app to schedule classes, and great instructors. I love that they offer various levels of classes and also some other fusion classes like TRX and Barre classes to mix it up. I used to do Pilates regularly in California, but when I moved back to Annapolis I sadly couldn't continue. I like to go a minimum of 4 times a week. The cost to do so at any other Pilates studio I found was simply out of my budget. I'm in the unlimited package which is a great bang for my buck. The hours need to be updated on be listing.
