I just finished the $69 introductory package and have taken 25 classes in the month. I've taken…read moreGentle, Foundation, flow to yin, Levels 1-2 and Level 2 classes with many different instructors. The instructors and the classes are uniformly top notch! The teachers are dedicated, knowledgeable, instructive and both serious AND fun! And I've taken all of the classes ONLINE. There is a wide array of classes, times, and teachers. I can honestly say, I'm thrilled with every aspect of Bhakti Barn! I just signed up to become a monthly member. I'm sure it's challenging to teach to the students in the studio and at home simultaneously. It can be challenging for the student at home too. But I'm learning ways to adapt and it's well worth it!

WOW, this probably the most gorgeous yoga studio I've ever been to - to date (when I had mentioned…read morethis to a staff member, they had mentioned that the owner Betsy had done the paintings/mural on the wall herself. So much talent!). I have not been to the older Millburn location which is at close proximity but from the looks of the outside, this 2nd Millburn location is much bigger. I've also been to the Glen Ridge location which is gorgeous as well and conveniently located next to Montclair. I do wish the studio was a bit closer to me as I probably would be more of a regular. I found this studio via Groupon and I really enjoy the classes. The instructors are great and the space is very welcoming - colors are so vibrant and the staff members are super friendly. I love that there's always hot tea at this location which you can drink prior/after class (so cozy). They have 2 rooms at this location - the Love room (pink & orange) is the one I took classes and it was very spacious and a smaller blue room. They have many different kinds of yoga classes here (Kundalini, Yin, Restorative, Bhakti & etc) and I often found myself treating myself by taking 2 classes when I had time (on the weekends).

It was my first try with hot yoga. I don't fully understand the appeal of sweating so much…read more Admittedly, I don't think I'm proper audience for this place. It's less of a spiritual practice than a light cardio workout. We go through the poses quickly, and repeat them almost like a circuit. After class, I feel like I've done some light exercise rather than limber and relaxed. I did enjoy classes with Hailee. She has great energy and goes around to help you out with your poses. If hot yoga/cardio is your niche, you will enjoy this studio. The instructors are kind and it's very welcoming place

Came here once with a friend for their Friday night beginning's warm yoga class, which was taught…read moreby Dana Murphy. It's a small space with just one studio for class. Doors lock promptly when class starts, so don't be late! Our class was pretty crowded, over 20 people. We had five mats per row, pushed so that if everyone sat crosslegged, you'd probably bump knees with your neighbor. But it worked out okay. Most of the people who were taking the class seemed like regulars and they were fairly friendly. Overall, I really enjoyed the class, but I didn't really think it was geared that well towards beginners. The instructor called out poses instead of explaining them, and she walked around the room a lot so it was not possible to look at her for reference. Instead, I had to hope that the person in front of me knew what she was doing, since I was just mimicking her. Luckily, the woman in front of me was a pro, but it still made class kind of confusing. The class lasted over an hour. I really enjoyed the semi-meditative talk through at the beginning and end of the class. I felt like I got a good work out, and I felt mentally rejuvenated at the end. The studio has plenty of yoga mats if you don't have your own, as well as blankets, "bricks" (which I'd never used before, but they do help with some of the poses!), and small towels. There isn't really a private changing area, but there is a back space with sliding doors where they keep the aforementioned supplies. There are two sinks, hand soap, and a mirror there. There is also a water cooler in the front. I'd love to come back for this class whenever I have time. I don't know what their regular classes are like, but hopefully once I have a better work schedule I can try those too!

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a bright, modern studio space and a genuinely welcoming vibe. The staff and instructors are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive -- they make sure every student feels comfortable, regardless of experience level. Each class type offers something unique. The Y6 Slow Flow sessions are perfect for unwinding after a long day, while Y6 Power and Hot provide a great challenge that leaves you feeling energized and clear-headed. I also love that the instructors give clear cues and offer modifications, so every class feels accessible yet engaging. The space itself is spotless and thoughtfully designed -- the heated rooms are comfortable (never overwhelming), the locker area is clean and organized, and there's always a sense of calm and positive energy. What really stands out is the community. The team at YogaSix Livingston does a fantastic job of creating a supportive environment where everyone feels encouraged to grow in their practice.
