However, Nicole made me feel right at home and more at ease. I attended the Hot Powerflow Fusion class which is challenging but not impossible by any means.You just have to take things at your own pace and Nicole continued to make that clear throughout the class. However, the one thing that I did notice is that there are a lot of regulars here and because of that, there isn't really much guidance at the beginning of class as far as how to set up your equipment, etc (or even what equipment is needed/where to get it). It was all easy enough to find in the closets but would have been nice to have known in advance. I felt really great leaving the studio, this class definitely left my mind very sharp and my body feeling sore but accomplished the next day. I would recommend this for both newbies and experienced hot yoga practitioners.

The only issue is that the tv showing the virtual instructor was situated high, so you had to look up often or start your workout a little after the demonstration. I took the spring and summer months off from this studio because I couldn't bear the thought of facing a heated room. Did hot yoga (Bikram) once at another studio. Never again! It was the single most disgusting class of my life. I was physically ill for days. I believe and have learned from other yogis that a hot room is not healthy, especially at my age (58), and not necessary at any age. You should not have to drink water during your practice as it too distracting. I had to drink water today at Summus because I felt lightheaded and weak. I was unable to fully enjoy the class because my energy level was diminished due to the heat. It was probably 90F in there. I don't see the need for temp to be above 75F.

From my very first interaction with Pediatric Potentials, I knew they would be the right provider for us. The director of the practice responded to my inquiry within 24 hours, and even called me back after business hours to discuss our availability and figure out the best appt times. She worked around our hectic work schedules and paired us with Melissa. Working with Melissa has been nothing short of life changing! Our daughter immediately warmed to her, and our sessions were challenging, but always positive. I am so grateful that Melissa was able to create a supporting and fun environment for our daughter, while also pushing her physically to overcome her challenges. Melissa also provided counsel and advice for us on how to advocate for our daughter with our Orthopedist so we could get to the best outcome. The assistant manager Mike is a sweetheart and really gets things done. I do feel they should offer more classes for people who work full time and want to go at say 6:30 PM. The best part of the gym is the front area with the heavy bags and functional training equipment. Unfortunately, it's consistently closed off during peak hours for personal training sessions or group classes with loud music that the entire gym must endure. Even when only half the space is being used, the rest of us are still blocked from using any of the equipment. At this point, it feels like members only get access to half the gym -- maybe that should come with a reduced price.
