Last September I was overweight, weak and unable to get up and down off the ground. Previous attempts at exercise were short-lived and left me feeling like a failure. I knew that I needed to do something because physically and mentally I was not doing anything. I started researching ways to exercise and I discovered Club Pilates. They offer a half hour introductory class and after taking it I thought, "I think I can do this." I signed up taking one class a week. I was encouraged by classmates and the fabulous instructors. Soon, once a week became twice a week. This past spring I decided to add a third class. Today I celebrated my 100th class. Last September, that number seemed impossible. I adjusted my thinking. I decided that progress is better than perfection. For the last 11 months I know that I've lost fat weight and gained muscle weight. Sometimes I have had to modify what I was doing from everyone else. The instructors Megan, Linnea, and Alaina have helped me on my journey. Their expertise and knowledge of the human body have helped me to understand my body better. Their encouragement and friendship has kept me on track. I can get up and down off the floor now. I can do so many things. Some of them are small things, but as I have done them I've stopped and savored those little wins. The friends I've made at Club Pilates have made getting to class easy. Knowing we can have a good laugh at ourselves and cheer one another on has been such a beautiful part of this experience. I never expected that. I am an absolute fan of Club Pilates in Shrewsbury!! I signed up for the "free" 30 minute intro class & I was hooked. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff & even the members were so helpful. I have been a member now since June 2021 & have never felt better!! The instructors are all very knowledgeable & so friendly & willing to spend time with you answering questions, finding out about you & making sure you are getting the results you are looking for. The equipment is very well maintained and the studio is always clean & organized. Sanitizing wipes are always available and each member cleans their workout area after every class. They offer multiple classes daily for all fitness levels. I try to warning everyone who wants to sign for this club Pilates especially located in Shrewsbury, I was using this location for 3 1/2 months, but they still charge from me for five months, Even I try to cancel my agreement, according to policy one month before, there's still find a way to charge me extra month, so be careful when you try to do cancellation, and also to broken contract they have in the policy hundred dollars fee, so you're not have to pay extra months, but they never told you that, staff they're so manipulated and not helpful read more

BEWARE OF FEES I joined when the club first opened. I joined for three months even though classes were sparse and the schedule was a struggle to post, typical new business struggles. I renewed for an additional month because a new instructor was joining and Monday/Tuesday classes were being added. Unfortunately, I felt as though it was a little too little, a little too late and called to cancel my membership. I was informed that I needed to give a 30 day written notice to cancel or my card would be charged again (an agreement I'm sure I was made aware of prior to signing). I opted to take a $100.00 hit to be done. In addition to this fee, I also stomached paying for classes that I missed even though the class was not full, a practice that I'm sure is common for like gyms. My thoughts are meant to help improve your practice, not to slam. I don't think you are very different than many corporate franchises, I just feel as though it's bad business. Any thought I had of staying is ultimately gone. Hearing the staff, who were all wonderful and quite talented, up-sell during every class yet stay hush hush when it was time to renew also turned me off. Good luck to you. read more

They take the time with every client to make sure their form is correct, and when they feel you're ready, will challenge you a little more.
