I am not a "gym person" so this place works really well for me. It's easy to sign up and pick the classes that work for my schedule on their app. The people are nice and it's a stress-free environment. Most importantly, I feel comfortable going at my own pace and doing what I can without any pressure. I have started to see improvement in how my body feels and functions since I started about a month or so ago which is exactly what I was looking for. The facilities are clean and the lighting is perfectly dimmed for those of us who don't like fluorescent lights highlighting our every movement. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a way to start moving and building back muscle and ability. read more

I began my membership on 11/2/25, so my billing cycle began on the 2nd of each month. I cancelled it on 1/16/26 (received email confirmation). Today (2/2/26) I received an email notification that I was being billed again. I called, and the employee told me their policy "requires 30 day notice" of cancellation. As in, you pay for another entire billing cycle after the one you cancel during. I think I saw other reviews explaining/decrying this, but I guess I thought they had been victim to some kind of error, not an actual predatory practice. If there had been a very clear warning about this policy on the page where I cancelled my membership, I would at least have been able to contact them much sooner with my concerns. I have attached an image of my cancellation confirmation from 1/16/26, which says only this in reference to the cancellation terms: "For more information about your cancellation terms, please don't hesitate to contact us." What do they mean "more?" There is no information in the email about their cancellation terms. I decided to cancel to begin with because the "level 1" classes themselves were not nearly challenging enough nor are most of the instructors particularly attentive unfortunately. There is also an obscure "approval" process you apparently must undergo in order to take the "1.5" level classes and above, which might have been more worthwhile and would have been more convenient with my schedule, but I did not want to have to deal with figuring out what that means or getting "approval." Exercise studios of all kinds across the globe have figured out a way to cater to diverse fitness levels without approval processes, including a beautiful pilates studio footsteps away from this one, which I am now going to instead, where the classes are very challenging and rigorous and the teachers play close attention to your form. read more

There are a lot of different instructors and a big class schedule to choose from since it operates with two rooms. My most recent instructor was Wendy! It has been a while since I have taken a class and she was very patient with me as I was trying to get back into the groove. It was challenging and I felt like I got a great workout in. Took the intro class. Had zero Pilates experience and it went pretty well. Started off with 4 classes per month, so about once a week. I cannot overstate how great the classes have been for my joints, sleep quality, and mental health. We are up to 2x a week now and I'm learning A LOT about my body. As someone in their mid 50's this is a gentle yet intense workout and I'm so lucky to have a studio so close to home. Love the app and booking is easy. The instructors have been wonderful -particularly Joy(ce) and Irene. I love that they will explain what motions are doing/accomplishing and are quick to remind us to work hard but listen to any discomfort and modify if needed. read more

5 star experience at the soft opening which is happening all weekend. 2/5/24 is actual regular open date. This is my first time ever at any Pilates studio. Amazing customer service greetings at the door. Easy fast check in and then I go into my class (2 class rooms available). Octavio was my instructor and I would love to use again because he was very motivating. The equipment is top notch, new and I worked muscles I have never used before. Nothing that I could not handle and machines are able to adjust to my personal needs. Plenty of parking btw since it is in the old Vons parking lot. Thank you so much Janus and Janelle at the front. We went in for a free class to see if we would like to join. We arrived five minutes early and the class had started and we couldn't join the class! We were told by the receptionist that the instructor decided to start the class five minutes early! Please keep current with your schedule if you say class is at 8:30 then start at 8:30 not 8:25! I was so excited when I learned Club Pilates was coming to South Pasadena! As local resident, I enjoy trying out different workout studios that this area offers, and I learn which studio is the best for my body's needs and goals. I went to their opening weekend and didn't disappoint! It wasn't my first time with PIlates class, but I'm amazed at how complete their tools are besides the reformer itself! Everything is brand new and clean, the opening weekend was so much fun. The trial class was with Octavio, and this was my first time having a male instructor, he is very knowledgeable with the right form, so he would alter your form to get the best benefits yet! I'm a classpass holder, so I can't wait for them to be there in classpass so I can try out more classes with different instructors. read more

The facility was clean and relaxing. The staff were very friendly and informative. I really like the instructors here and the staff has been very sweet to me. I have the unlimited membership and come about once a day. I think that's kind of the best way to reap the benefits of coming here, otherwise I can understand people's frustration with booked classes or re-scheduling conflicts. I have a flexible schedule so this hasn't been an issue for me and learning how to engage with Pilates has been awesome. The option of a free into class really made it for me too so you can feel if this is the right type of exercise for you. I think it's beginner friendly, BUT in terms of getting the hang of it quickly. You're really thrown into the deep end when you first start because I didn't know any terms or how to position my body, but after about a week of classes it's become a smooth routine lol. read more

The instructors are good, the itself is clean and nicely, equipped with the proper equipment, and some. The people that were there are very pleasant, however, the management does not tell you the truth, in terms of the explaining that you have to use certain amount of classes. You have to join for E amount of months. And basically if you don't use the classes you'll lose them. I think it is ridiculous to control People this way. I lost about $250 of classes because I ended up throwing my back out and I couldn't use the classes. They gave me a little time and they eventually took them away. I've only been at this Club Pilates location twice, but the instructors I've met (Octavio & Jonelle) are absolutely amazing. They both had great energy, are knowledgeable, and show passion for what they do. The front desk staff I have met (so sorry I have already forgotten names) have been kind and welcoming. The lobby and gift shop area are well managed with very cute apparel on display. The studio itself is very clean, and I love that there are two rooms - twice the classes offered! My favorite aspect is probably the mood/dimmed lighting, which I prefer to the bright/natural lights I've had at other CP locations. Only negative thing I can think of at this moment is that if you're working on a very tight schedule, you may not be able to sign up for the classes you want depending on the billing cycle day. read more

My instructor was awesome...she gave the Pilates reasoning behind each exercise and explained everything clearly. She had a fun, energetic presence. Came for a trial class; always wanted to do this class on a reformer; prior, I had been doing floor Pilates at the Y. Trying to find the closest place to me and that work with my schedule; full time for my mom, stroke victim, wheelchair bound with busy standing PT/OT/speech sessions every week. Upon arrival for the class, I was greeted by very friendly staff. The studio was very nice clean and organized. The instructor was very thorough about explaining all the different parts of the machine. I would say for me, personally, the acoustics of the room made it a little difficult to hear the instructor clearly. Not sure if her mouth was too close to the mic? I did enjoy the class though. This place is so professionally well trained and attentive. Ruby is a great instructor for Pilates. I love that she helps you out when you are not doing moves the correct way.
