Took my first Lagree foundation class with Elaine today. Totally new to Lagree and was a good challenging core workout. Note to self, dont eat a meal an hr before. That made it hard for me to plank. Elaine was really helpful in ensuring form and movements were done correctly as we can. Also gave modifications where needed. Answered all questions and gave suggestions in the end. Although I struggle, I felt comfortable doing what i could. Would definitely be back.

I've been coming here for about a year now, the first class I took here was with the instructor Molly Mars. I love her energy and sequences as she focuses really challenging you and not focusing too much on the planks which really hurts my wrists and shoulders (wheel barrow, plank to pike and etc). However, since the year I can't say I have the same experience with the different instructors and they're not really hands on in correcting form. In addition the mega reformers needs to be replaced, a lot of them have cracks on the carriage and the handles aren't that wrist friendly.. the music is also too high and can't really hear the instructions. The microphone also breaks out, overall, the rating is for the general studio now, but I love Molly mars (she has a 5 stars)

First time taking Lagree and it was an intense workout that got me shaking. I am more of a HIT and Weight training kind of gal but Lagree made me feel humble. The place has a first timer deal where it is buy one class and get one free so I decided to signed up. Before signing up for a class, you must bring grip socks but if you do not have any, you can buy it there. My first class, I took it with Instructor Kelly who was very helpful since it was my first time taking lagree. She explained on how to use the reformer before class and she made sure that everyone's form was right. The movements are slow for lagree but you can definitely feel the burn and your legs /arms will be shaking. The class is about 45 mins long. The place has one gender neutral restroom and one room for the lagree class. The space is clean and there are wipes to wipe down the reformers. There are no lockers to put away your personal item but they do have cubbies to place your shoes and personal belonging. There is a hydration station where you can refill your water bottle. There are free parking in the garage but space is pretty limited. I was able to find street parking at 10 am on a Friday but make sure you read the signs.

Club Lagree is one of the more intense Pilates studios I've been to -- but I lov me a challenge :-) the studio is so clean & spacious, and parking is pretty easy to find (maybe because I went to my Pilates class at 6am LOL). The instructor that taught the class was so friendly & helpful, she kept making sure my form was right. I also love how girly the studio is -- the pink led lights is saur cute :') I will force myself to come here a few times a month but she's so far from me. They need to open a location around the West Covina area!

Wow, lagree does not play around. Make no mistake - it may be a 45 minute workout but it is INTENSE. I visited here via classpass, and while I left thinking it was a good but manageable workout, I woke up the next day unable to get up from bed because my abs were so sore. The studio is chic, with street art murals and purple lights. I like that the megaformers are spaced far apart and that class sizes are smaller compared to some pilates/lagree studios. That being said, the instructor rarely corrects or checks form, and won't even demo some of the moves. That makes class challenging to follow and prone to injury, especially beginners to this type of class. I've taken a handful of pilates/lagree classes in the past, but I do have a bunch of older injuries, so it rubs me the wrong way that they aren't careful about form and injuries.

IM OBSESSED I did a class pass trial and was really interested in trying a Pilates style workout. I ordered some grippy socks on Amazon and came into Lagree knowing nothing. The instructor was really great and explained the reformer to me before class started and then stopped by me periodically to offer advice or corrections. You don't see a lot of demonstrations from the instructors, but there's normally people in class to watch and they've stopped by me and demonstrated when necessary. I never thought I could swear so much during a workout that wasn't cardio based but Lagree kicks my butt every time. I'm so sore after every class! I joined class pass just so I could keep coming to Lagree

Have been coming here for about 2 months now. I used run and weight training but had a knee problem earlier this year so I had to stop running and was looking for some low impact workouts. Tried a few different studios in the area. I am so happy to find that club lagree's Saturday morning class is my favorite! I love the Saturday morning 7am classes with Gabriella! Her routine is well designed to work the core, legs as well as the shoulders. Challenge enough to make me sweat. No matter how late i go to bed Friday night, I have to come to this Saturday morning class. Always make me feel refreshed and ready for the day!

Great lagree experience. I've taken a few instructors here, and they are all great. All very motivating and encourage you to work! I like that they demonstrate some of the moves off and on the reformer (if available). Definitely a visual learner, so that helps a lot! Pros - Free parking available in the building and street. - There are 12 reformers. All are new and clean - Water dispenser at the facility - The studio offers multiple classes in the morning/evening to fit your schedule. - Easy to book on classpass, or their dedicated app. - Class is pretty fun, love the music! Cons - No showers/lockers. They do provide cubbies to place your items/shoes in the same room where the reformers are. - Not all instructors give hands on correction. Some will verbalize it to the class, in hopes you will catch on. Would like some more hands on correction if possible. Can't wait to go back! :)

I think whether it's worth it really depends on how you use it. If you're just using it like a normal gym, it's obviously way overpriced. But if you actually take advantage of the classes and amenities, it is worth it. The floor Pilates classes are free but the reformer classes are extra. The classes are really high quality with good instructors. For me especially because I hate packing stuff and they provide everything you need for all classes. Even for yoga, you don't have to bring anything. You just show up and they have mats, bolsters, blankets, and everything is clean and ready to go. For me personally, I use it as an escape because I can hit the steam room and take a shower sort of like a spa pass. They provide all the bath products too. I'm not a huge fan of the products themselves, they are drying kind of like hotel products,, but at least they're there, so I don't have to think about packing anything. Another thing is that it removed a lot of barriers because they provide towels, which are always clean and fluffy (and I don't have to wash). I can show up in workout clothes with a water bottle and everything else is provided. As with any gym, though, it's not worth it if you don't actually use it. It's also not a huge social scene, which might be a downside for some people but is an upside for me. I can go work out without worrying about having to talk to people or have awkward interactions around equipment. There aren't tons of people taking selfies or clogging up machines and walkways. It also doesn't get super crowded, which I think is partly because of the price point. Those are all huge pluses for me, but I'm on the more introverted side and just trying to work out, not update my social media or make new friends at the gym. I'm basically paying to remove barriers that usually prevent me from going to regular gyms, plus the classes are quality. I don't have to wait for equipment or deal with a bunch of little obstacles that make me less likely to go. They validate parking, which is another big plus. Between the parking, classes, towels, showers, and amenities, there are basically no barriers. The customer service is also really good, I've never had an unpleasant interaction on my way in or out at the front desk, so the whole experience is low stress. I used someone's referral code from here when I joined and got a gift shop credit/didn't have to pay the initiation fee. Everyone I know has been able to join without paying the invitation fee, so don't pay it, they will find a way to waive it because they want your business. I used someone else's link from reddit, but it got taken down. It got the fee waived and I got a credit, so I'm posting my link in case it helps someone else. https://equinox.com/referrals/003A000001TO5GKIA1 Bottom line is it's worth it if it actually gets you to go or you're already paying for classes somewhere else. If you're already paying for yoga classes somewhere else, that's probably close to $100 a month by itself, and you usually don't get all the extra amenities. For me, the biggest value is that it removes barriers and makes it easy and low stress so I don't avoid it. Having everything provided and not having to plan or prepare makes me much more likely to go consistently and yeah, I could save money and go somewhere else, but I wouldn't go, thus my Equinox membership.

Committing to just one gym is difficult when each person goes through their productive, creative, or hibernation periods. I've wanted a place that made me look forward to going and not finding reasons to skip out. After some time with ClassPass, a 45-day workout challenge and a dozen-full of memorable buddy pass classes later, I finally made a decision I've been happy with since. Basecamp for the win. Love their lower to upper to full body workout schedule, the alternation between cardio and strength, the change/rotation of class layouts, their equipment, and of course, the instructors and team themselves. Special appreciation for the 9am goers because they became a solid community for me when I was going through some post-grad life transitions and turbulence. Somehow, when I was considering what to properly invest in while sacrificing to save money from other things, this was a good alternative investment that has sparked back some love for workout classes again. Well-deserved shout outs to Coaches Nick, Jacqueline, and Oliver and the front desk team. If you're looking for a motivating space, it's a good place for a comeback and a fresh start. Needed to come to Yelp to sing the praises of Bunda Pasadena because this is the BEST customer…read moreservice I have received in at least a decade.... I stopped into today to update my card info after a fraud problem caused me to get a new debit account. While I was there I asked trainer Callie what the 'pause account' policies were. I had signed up as a founding member, but had only managed to attend one class due to an illness then injury. Being a 'founding member' carried enough value that it made more sense to keep it active even if I could not attend. It was my OWN fault I never asked earlier, as I never expected to be out of the training game as long as I was. Callie listened attentively, helped me sign up for the next week under HER name because my account was effectively paused- then said as soon as her manager was available, she would call and see if there was 'something they could do' to credit me for my lost training time. Graciella (hope I'm spelling everyone's name correctly!) called me about 20 minutes later, and graciously (true to the name ;) offered to credit me for THE ENTIRE TIME I MISSED OUT ON!!!! I was so overwhelmed I almost didn't know what to say..... obviously it was very clear I have been paying for months for a service I wasn't able to take advantage of, but this level of generosity is unheard of today! In this age of bots, endless customer service wait times, submitted forms that never get a response, and generally broken promises from merchants, to have a business tell you they would reach out to help, then deliver on that promise in under an hour feels almost like magic. It just never happens anymore, and EVERYONE should know. Particularly in an environment where a person trying to improve and change, that level of support, that feeling of 'I understand- and I GOT YOU'..... you just can't put a price tag on that. These women and this location will have my loyalty forever, I am so grateful. THANK YOU LADIES!!!! PS: I know this review had nothing to do with the workout itself, but the one class I did before I had to take a break totally kicked my ass & I loved it! It's why I kept my account active so long in hopes of returning at least 3 days a week, it's exactly the type of hype & grind I was looking for. Really looking forward to more!
